4 pounds...The same amount I never seemed to lose after delivering Kayley! And that's while breastfeeding.

If you can find someone decent, it's good to go right away so that at your second appointment, you can hear the heartbeat :) or you can wait until 11 weeks or so to be seen and hear that heartbeat on the first appointment. But probably by then, you should get checked out. Also - when I scheduled my first appointment it was for two weeks out from when I called. It can be up to a month as well. It just depends. Good luck!!!

It is ok to continue to breast feed while pregnant. You should look into it b/c there are things you should know. Like after you have this baby if you have been breast feeding you will not make colostrue(sp) and they say that is very important for your next child if you choose to breast feed again.

I think for me, part of the weight loss was because I am breastfeeding, and also so much of the weight was water. I was SO swollen the whole pregnancy! I definitely did not exercise while I was pregnant, and I am not really into exercise in general. After having my son, I did take him for a walk in the stroller at least 4 out of 7 days, sometimes twice a day. As he got a little bigger I could put him in the front-pack and take him for a walk like that. That is pretty much the extent of my exercise! We have stairs at my work too, without the option of an elevator, so I have to take two flights of stairs pretty often throughout the day as well.

i agree about the exercising. i gained 20-25lbs with my second preg and i did water areobics. and i lost all of the wgt when i had her. with the other two i gained 30-35lbs and kept 10lb on and did not exercise. so i am doing water areobics again. i also had a painless easy labor with my second. i am so hopen to repeat that.congrats. i will see you on the 4wk board.

Message to all This may be interesting to some of you. Seema`s email is seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com

Hi there,

I work for a television production company based in the UK . We are currently making a documentary for ITV1 exploring the issues surrounding pregnancy and eating disorders. The film will be a thoughtful and insightful look into this extremely sensitive subject.

We’re in the research stage of our production and very keen to chat to women who are, or have been, pregnant whilst having an eating disorder.

If you’re interested in having a chat or finding out more about our documentary, it would be really great to hear from you. All communication would be in complete confidence.

You can contact me on: seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com

mine mainly does her growth in height as well..she has grown a whole 12 inches since she was born...but only about 11 pounds (at ten months she is now 18 pounds and 30 inches)...she was starting to eat better but she has several teeth coming in which has made her lose her appetite..its so frustrating because im all about trying to get calories into her! i was excited though last night because i got her a YoBaby Yogurt Drink and put it in her sippy cup and she LOVED it and drank the whole thing. its made with whole milk so its nice n fatty n has calories :) Hopefully I can keep her on that while shes teething because she won't eat many solids...good luck! i've also started giving her similac go and grow formula along with breastfeeding in hopes of that helping as well :)...so far her doc isnt concerned at all though since shes always been in the 10-25% its just me that worries about it!

doublemama - Saturday, 13 September
ive been giving mine less breastmilk and more solids...and 4oz of formula a day..she feels like shes getting heavier to me, when i use our scale at home to weigh her she is about 18 pounds now...hope your appointment goes well! let me know how it goes..
