madisonsmomma - Thursday, 11 September Thanks, Doctor was saying nothing at all. So no feeding at nights even when she wakes her usual 2 times for milk. But I've been feeding her anyways and brushing her 2 teeth.
doublemama - Friday, 5 September hey there, just thought id check on ur daughter and see how her weight gain is coming along? i would love to have an infant scale at home to be able to know how mine is doing..she was only 16 lb 14 oz at her 9 month check up. ive increased solids to 3 times a day, about 4oz each, hopefully thats helping!
doublemama - Tuesday, 12 August i can get her to eat 2x a day (a jar each)..but some days she doesnt wanna eat at all so i just breastfeed...i always thought breastmilk was best..didnt realize it could be slowing things down...im trying to get her to eat 3x a day but she wont! mine was 14lb12oz and 27 inches long at six months...we'll see how much she is at 9 months....is her height growing or her head?
CassandraLee - Sunday, 10 August I read your post about your daughters growth. My son had his 9month check up last week and they told me pretty much the same thing. My son was very big when he was born (10# 1oz, 22.5") and was always in the 96-99 percentile for both weight and height. They said hes down to 76 for height and 65 for weight. I thought I was doing well because he isnt getting chubby like alot of babies his age. They told me I wasnt feeding him enough solids as well. What the heck do I know? The kids only got 2 teeth on the bottom. What's he supposed to chew with just 2 teeth?! I dont know about you but it made me feel kind of bad, like I was doing something wrong. Anyhow, I wanted to send you a message and let you know I'm going through the same thing. I'm trying to be creative and think of meals for my son! Ugh! Good luck to you
doublemama - Saturday, 9 August i saw ur post on the 9 month forum...my daughter's head/weight gain is pretty slow as well..so let me know whatever you find out about getting them to gain weight better....how much does yours weigh now? at 6 months mine was 14lb12oz...not sure how much she is now but we have her 9 month next week..

She was a nice little size...I never got to see my son that small because when he was born he was over 9 lbs. He's now a whopping 14lbs 12oz at only 6 weeks old! I'll try posting more pics of Matthew soon. How are you liking motherhood? I had no idea how hard it would be, but I love it!
mommyns - Friday, 5 Oct thank you soooo much!!! :)
nishau21 - Friday, 14 Sep thank you and your welcome....we are almost there...so exciting!
nishau21 - Tuesday, 11 Sep hey I was reading you comment about the Medela breastpumps....good choice and they are super expensive...I know you probably think that using one used is kinda gross but yes they are capable of being sanitized....I work for a company that rents them and we sterilize them and all the good stuff after each rental....afterall you are just using the machine but you will have to buy all the acessories.Although some hospitals will give you the acessories and you get the pump elsewhere. Good way to good and way cheaper than buying one outright.
hrdr2breathe3 - Saturday, 25 Aug lol.. at least you have a few inches on me.. I'm 5' 1 1/2' Everyone looks at me like they feel SO bad for me.. I must really look like I'm ready to explode.. I'm sure it doesn't help when walking ten feet makes me huff and puff.. I'm ready to have my lungs back now! I'm excited for the baby to come, I just wish I had prepared earlier.. besides that, I DO NOT wanna have to leave my baby in the hospital at all.. I'm so afraid she won't come home with me! Still.. I'm just ready to be done.. is it just me?
