Oh my I know my little one is going to be EXACTLY like yours was. She screams if i take her anywhere! I am so nervous. Did you have a problem with taking any of her stuff on the plane? Like stroller and carseat? Im worried that they wont let her formula on the plane and take the bottles from me. I am going to bring a few extra outfits after reading about your diaper blow lol and probably lots of diapers.

Message to all: In the last 2 years you all posted 1.1 million photos to the site, and that needs a little maintenance. We are currently renaming all photos from the personal photobooks in order to speed up the site. Some, or all your photos may not show while we are working on the photobooks. You don't have to do anything. We hope to have all photos sorted in about 24 hours from now. You can upload new photos to your photobook while the computer is working on your other photos. Thanks for reading.

Hi again. I just wanted to let you know that if I go somewhere, I pump milk before I go. It can stay out for 4 hours after being pumped and if I don't use it I put it in the fridge when I get back. If I don't use it for the next day, I freeze it.

yep it made me feel like crap reading about all of the babies sleeping so long at night...like I was doing something wrong! We fall asleep with the nipple in the mouth too. Yes, I am hopeful that when he starts on solids maybe he will sleep better. He has been going through a phase lately where he cries in his sleep every hour and needs soothing of some sort...I'm getting no sleep!I just keep telling myself that there will soon be a day where I have to beg and bribe him for a cuddle.

My son has the exact same feed schedule at night...he is 12 weeks today. I thought I was the only one...with everyone bragging about their baby sleeping 10 hours haa haa!

No problem. I give my little one a bath around 8:30 so I know he will be up for a little bit after it.

Hi mama-mimi. I was reading your posts about sleeping through the night, formula/breast feeding.....My son is now 9 weeks ans a few days. There are nights when he will sleep a straight 6 hours and there are nights when he sleeps only 4. I try to put him to bed around 10-10:30 so he usually wakes around 3-4 and then around 6:30-7. You just have to find your nitch with your baby. They are all different. If they were all the same...parenting would never be a challenge...it would be boring. Good luck!

Thank you so much for your comment! I do pump so that his daddy can help me out some nights, but I know if I gave him a bottle while we were out that I would have to find a place to pump anyway. Maybe I will venture out with him and just go to the car if I need to. I did buy a sling, but I haven't quite mastered nursing in it yet. Guess I am just going to have to go for it!

there's a certain subject that begins with "p" that we can't discuss lol.

Also, it's been recommended to me that the most natural nipple for bottle feeding while breastfeeding is the NUK brand by Gerber (use the slow flow for these early months). And until the pain is figured out, have you thought about using a nipple shield? I don't know, but that might help!

the first week she was born breastfeeding was extremely painful, but I thought it was just normal. Since I really wanted to breastfeed her I'd have to tough through it. But at her 2 week check up the doctor told me she was tongue-tied, and after looking it up at home I thought that might be why feeding hurt so bad. The doctor referred us to an Ear, Nose, Throat Specialist, and all he did was use scissors to clip the extra skin to free her tongue. She didn't even cry. It was great to do it while she was small because tongue-tie also affects speech when they start talking. I'm also glad I didn't have to give up breastfeeding, because I probably wouldn't have made it much longer with the pain. But now it's amazing! No pain what-so-ever. I wouls say to ask your baby's doctor at your next appointment, or even make a special appointment to figure out the problem. Breastfeeding definitely should not be painful for this long, and since it's so valuable to your baby it's worth it to find out what's going on. Good luck! I know how tough this is!

My son has had Thrush and we both went on medication Nystatin I was on pills & Ointment for my nipples and My Doctor also put me on Diclocacillin which is an antibiotic. Thrush may take several weeks to cure, so it is important to try not to spread it. Don't freeze milk that you pump while you have thrush. Change disposable nursing pads often and wash any towels or clothing that come in contact with the yeast in very hot water (above 122° F).
Wear a clean bra every day.
Wash your hands often, and wash your baby's hands often, especially if he or she sucks on his/her fingers.
Boil any pacifiers, bottle nipples, or toys your baby puts in his or her mouth once a day for 20 minutes to kill the thrush. After one week of treatment, discard pacifiers and nipples and buy new ones.
Boil daily for 20 minutes all breast pump parts that touch the milk.
Make sure other family members are free of thrush or other fungal infections. If they have symptoms, get them treatment. I know its alot We did it and it's all gone!! It sounds like is effecting you & your baby still. Good Luck and stay strong!

hello! Well regarding the pain while breastfeeding - this may not be the case for you but i had horrible pain the first week because my baby was tongue-tied. Once it was taken care of, feeding her has been wonderful. Could this be a possibility?
Also, I just took a 2 hour flight with my baby for the first time last week. I took her carseat on the plane but I didn't use it at all. I carried her in a front-pack carrier, which worked wonderful since it allowed my hands to be free. I brought her boppy pillow on the plane which I would definitely recommend because she was able to sleep without killing my arms. I brought my stroller through security so that I had it through the terminal, and then gate-checked it before boarding. The most important thing I was told was to breastfeed (or bottle) during takeoff and landing so that the baby could pop her ears (they don't know how to do it on their own, but the sucking allows their ears to pop before it gets painful). The whole process really wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. Just smile and hope that there are nice people traveling with you! And don't be afraid to ask the flight staff for help. Have fun!

Hey, Your pic you did looks great, if you want to do a pic playing around with the threshold this is how you do it!.....
upload photo you want
then go to create
then go to sandbox
Then to adjustable threshold
Play with the black & white threshold's when you get it where you want then click the little paint brush
then click on paint mode: original
Then all you have to do is paint the area where you want the original color to come thru..... believe it or not that is the original color of payton's eyes in that picture. Have fun, I think I'm addicted...lol
