Hi, I hired the TENs machine from Boots (I don't know if you are in UK or US?), it was £55 with £25 back when it is returned. You can get TENs machines for loads of different things, eg back pain, but these ones are specifically designed to cope with labour pains. I don't know how or why they work, whether it gave me something else to focus on, but it was useful up to the pushing point, then Entinox was in and TENs was out!

ive felt ready for a few weeks now! its just so annoying , the thought of being induced again, saw the midwife today and theyve booked me in, in 13 days!!! its horrid to think of another count down date!! but we'll get there in the end! thanks for the kind comments x

I just read your birth story and it was so amazing, and I laughed as well. lol You explained it great, and I was intensly awaiting the point of when you'd have him. Hospital for sure. I used to work at an OB/GYN so i've seen dozens of deliveries. i like the idea of everything being sterile

i just wanted to tell u how great ur story was. i know what u mean when u were saying that u were looking so closely in ur doulas eyes and it didnt seem to bother her. when i was giving birth i did the same thing, like u said in a desperate silent plea. i know she could feel the heat of my breathe, but she didnt mind. after ward i thought, i wonder if my breathe smelled good or not..lol. but its great to have someone there that will support u like that. i am due on october 30th with my fourth baby and getting kind of freaked out about the labor , i know whats coming this time. well anyway, hope u are well.

WOW!!! I just read your birth story and you are a WOMAN!! I was not able to get my epidural until I was 9 cm dilated and if they had known how far along I was, they probably wouldnt have given it to me. I had to push like 30 minutes later. I could barely take the pain and could never imagine doing it natural. I give you an applause for sticking to you guns!!
