Wow, I've just read your birth story. It is really well written (sorry this is the teacher in me) and I was absolutely gripped from beginning to end. I found it really inspiring and am amazed that you remembered things in so much detail. Sadly its completely opposite to my over intervened birth. Perhaps I'll find it cathartic to write it down. Thank you letting me read yours.

I know! We were a little concerned at first because we don't have family here and don't know a lot of people (we haven't lived here for that long) and so it was kind of a pain to find someone who can keep him while I'm in labor. They said he could be in there for the first little bit but then once things started getting serious, he had to leave. My only concern is that my labor with him was so quick that this one will be super quick and things will progress really fast. I would love for him to be in the room but my husband was a little freaked out at the though anyway, so he's not too upset about the rule. It was just finding someone to keep him, which we did, but I have issues with putting people out, you know? Anyway, I'll let you know how everything goes. I'm hoping it's soon! I'm so ready for this little girl to get here! I love your profile picture by the way!

Thanks! I actually just recently found out that our hospital will not allow him to be in the room for the birth! I was kind of bummed because now we've had to find someone for him to stay with while I'm in labor... but I hope it will all work out for the best. Maybe next time around : )

Hi my history is as follows. We were TTC for a year and then I fell pregnant in January but had a miscarriage in March. We've had all the tests and there is nothing wrong with either of us so we're just trying again

hi - thanks for your words. It really is reassuring. I'm going to try that massage stuff tonight.. and try to be religious about it. I hope it works, or helps at the least bit... And I pray my tolerance for labor pain is high... 4 weeks to term! Time is flying!

Thanks so much! My mother is the one that wants me to lose weight. She took me shopping today and we got a whole bunch of frozen veggies and fruit, and yogurt and black beans and stuff like that. I just don't want to be the size of a house when I'm 9 months preggo! I want to actually look pregnant, not just fat!

thanks i'll order it. yeah, im bf and i have a 2 month old, but we want another and i dont want to use ky if its gonna kill sperm. i know im crazy, btw, to want another so quick, but i want 4-5 kids. just looking at your screen name, do you have 6 kids and are ttc? maybe im not that crazy..haha
