KIWIMUM - Monday, 23 June Happy 100 hundred days to go......yay
NZmum - Thursday, 19 June Hi, let me know how you go at the specialist next week! my little bubba has decided she likes doing flips in the late afternoon now and sometimes at 3am! oh the joys. been craving date scones all week, think i might be over that now and moved onto cheese and pickle sandwiches. haha.
i'm off to hastings tomorrow for a weekend at my best friends place. she's lending me her lovely wooden bassinet, cant wait to put that up once the bubba's room is wallpapered.
hope you are well. oh and i've put up a couple new pics xxx
KIWIMUM - Sunday, 15 June I think maybe people expect you to be a bump with a manda attached already, and yes you haven't put on anything other than baby weight which is great. It is kind of cool having a huge belly and for once in life showing it off in a proud way. Toby great a little snotty but great, he laughed for Jim the other day but not for me, I'm not the platy thing, i'm the milk thing. Jim is in auckland and has been to rewaka for the weekend. He was away 3 nights last week and is away 4 nights at the moment. Foo Foo much beeter, even tried it out the other day and it all went well....yay! Have appointment on the 16th July back at chch woman's re: repair job so hopefully will have a date soon. you don't have to long to go now really, will they let you go over 38 weeks? I have a funny feeling they don't with twins. How are the wee blokes, still one active one quiet, are the names thinning down? Oh Toby up, gotta go, big loves to all
KIWIMUM - Saturday, 14 June ok you must be getting people asking if it's twins now or asking you if you due any day, thats so cool manda!!
Need belly shots every week from here on in, and you thought I looked pregnant at new years.
kah - Thursday, 12 June Things are great! We finally have a name for her!!! *YIPPIE* we will be naming her Marley Sakura. How about you? Have you settled on any names? I tell you names are more difficult than I imagined. =)
No… I have been trying to be good. I did purchase a few things but the only splurge that I have given myself is a cradle we purchased for her. I know it is only good for a few months but it was way too cute! =) *WOW* I am jealous… I would love to have all those items for Marley. Yet we are waiting for the shower to happen before we begin really collecting items. I do see your dilemma though. You have 2 on the way… So earlier is better for you financially. Don’t you like all the cute things though that they need? Hummmm I guess in the long run we need to be reasonable. Awe the grandparents are excited. I love that you have such a great support system!!!
They are moving around!! Yes… it is a wonderful feeling. So are they consistently moving since there are two? Or do they let you rest some? Marley likes me move mostly at night. I have begun to see her make waves in my belly and the Hubby gets to enjoy finally. So it has been nice to finally be able to share some of the excitement with him and big sister.
We’ll I should get back to work. Have a great rest of your week! And I look forward to your updates and pictures… Take Care
4sAcharm - Wednesday, 11 June I we are doing god. I am glad to hear you sound as you are as well!!! I have a slight bump but I still can sqeeze inton my old jeans! I have not gained any weight yet but the doc says they are growing good and I probably am just so active and busy that I burnoff alot of calories. We know we are having 1 boy but the other baby was not coopertive do you know the sexes yet??
kah - Tuesday, 10 June *WOW* Look at you!!! Your belly is really here now! You look great... Are you're little men moving around a lot? How have you been feeling? Hope everything is good!
Take care
NZmum - Monday, 9 June wow your latest photos are fantastic! i can definitely see they are boys *haha* i always wondered how clearly the drs could tell, and its quite clear now! my scan today went well, took just over an hour so got loads of great photos. dr said my bubs has very long legs and beautiful eyelids hehe. my bubs moves a lot at night, about 10pm is the most active time. i cant imagine how crazy it must feel with two bubs in there. anyway off to bed soon. take care
KIWIMUM - Monday, 9 June Your bump has popped out heaps. Even you must look at the past photos and think.....CRICKEY!!!! I'm still so excited for you guys and think it's so cool that we will have children close in age Yay!
Loads of love
*jellybean2* - Sunday, 8 June had to have a look at ur pics to c how much faster ur bump grows with twins and i'm so shocked!!!! think i look how u did at 17 weeks atm- must be so exciting for u! congratulations! also did u find out if ur twins are identical? x
NZmum - Saturday, 7 June thanks, its great to be back, although the weather could be nicer for me. haha feeling good. met my midwife this week and had all the lengthy blood tests etc. have to see an OB specialist this month because of a disease i have, they want to monitor my health and health of the baby. going for a scan on monday so that will be fun (you can never have too many scans!) how have you been?
KIWIMUM - Friday, 30 May See you this weekend....YAY!
KIWIMUM - Saturday, 24 May Growing, growing....can't wait to see you in the flesh. Yay only one week to go!
When do you see your midwife next. When do you start fortnightly visits, does that happen earlier as you will deliever earlier. You'll have to start thinking about birthing plans soon, antenatal classes will help you decide on the things you want. If you are planning on a normal birth and neither of the twins are breech I would recommend a TENS machine, I got to 8cm and transition for 3 hours on that alone and will use it next time....money well spent.
Jim and I have nasty colds, trying to keep the boy bug free, just hoping the breast milk keeps him well. Poor wee man managed to snort while drinking yesterday and had milk coming out his nose. I thought thats one way to clear your sinuses.lol.
Better go, time to get showered and start the day.
Love to all
4sAcharm - Wednesday, 21 May Hi Congrats on your twins! I too am carrying twins and verye xcited. This is our fourth pregnancy we have 2 children already and 1 miscarriage. So I have always wanted 4 kids and now I get them!!!
KIWIMUM - Monday, 19 May Hey Manda, forgot to ask you if you are having lots of movements now. Can imagine that the two of them are having fist fights already. All is good hear, went to get Toby's jabs today, both our eyes welled up. Was not fun but has to be done. Got the doctor to check my hernia, have to go for scans, see an ob at the hospital and then a general surgeon. Have to see an ob as having my hernia fix may affect being able to carry siblings for Toby so need to know before we start looking at getting it fixed as if it means I won't be able to carry another baby i'll have to live with the pain until after we finish breeding. it just gets better and better
manda-may - Thursday, 15 May Oops, forgot to mention this is from the 19 week scan.
KIWIMUM - Tuesday, 13 May Where are you achy, I got really sore hips around your stage but you'll be pleased to know that that doesn't last for ever, it just happens as everything relaxes and loosens up. Yes Toby has out grown all his newborn stuff and is now in 000 size stuff, it is also because we are using a cloth nappy system to save money and the planet lol. He weighted last thursday 10lb 1 oz and his little chicken legs have a little meat on them. He just spends all day sleeping. He wakes feeds for an hour and then by the time you have had a cuddle and burped him it's time for bed again....what a life. Jim had a nice time with him tonight, he gave Toby an expressed bottle which Toby sculled and then as he was awake and happy and full jIm gave him a bath (he does this anyway sometimes) usually Toby loves his bath but he gets really tired so there is often a bit of crying during the dressing as he is over it by then, but tonight Toby was in fine form so they had this lively bonding time, I just love standing back and watching, my heart swells with love for the two of them and the little family we have created. So nice now we are settling into a routine and all getting used to each other. Can't wait to see you, then we can do excited chats face to face. Are you thinking about breast feeding? Well better go, love to all, hells
KIWIMUM - Monday, 12 May ok now your starting to pop...exciting.
