Message to all: This message is not intended for any one person, but a general statement to all members of the site. After hearing what you all think in regards to posting photos on the forums, we have modified the rules and ask that everyone familiarize yourself so that the site continues to remain friendly for everyone, including new members. In an effort to be respectful of all members of the site, we ask that members do not post more than ONE photo or video per person in the weekly, monthly and information forums. Your ONE picture should be small in size as well. Any large photos will be deleted. You are welcome to post as many pictures as you would like in the photo books, which were created for the purpose of sharing and viewing photos. You may also post as many blogs as you would like with photos in them. We understand that many members enjoy posting and viewing pictures on the forums, but this is not where they belong. We must keep the pictures on the boards to a minimum so that the written comments can continued to be written and read. Otherwise, the numerous amounts of large pictures squash the messages and they become missed. We ask that this modification be respected, therefore any member that continues to post numerous pictures a day will be deleted from the site. Thank you all for helping us keep the site friendly and welcoming for all members.

Message to all: In the last 2 years you all posted 1.1 million photos to the site, and that needs a little maintenance. We are currently renaming all photos from the personal photobooks in order to speed up the site. Some, or all your photos may not show while we are working on the photobooks. You don't have to do anything. We hope to have all photos sorted in about 24 hours from now. You can upload new photos to your photobook while the computer is working on your other photos. Thanks for reading.

Message to all This may be interesting to some of you. Seema`s email is seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com

Hi there,

I work for a television production company based in the UK . We are currently making a documentary for ITV1 exploring the issues surrounding pregnancy and eating disorders. The film will be a thoughtful and insightful look into this extremely sensitive subject.

We’re in the research stage of our production and very keen to chat to women who are, or have been, pregnant whilst having an eating disorder.

If you’re interested in having a chat or finding out more about our documentary, it would be really great to hear from you. All communication would be in complete confidence.

You can contact me on: seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com

Sx

for the most part there is little difference between the #1 and the #2s. The 2s are a little thicker but still no chunks. So if you LO is doing well with #1s then i would say try a #2. Good Luck

Stage 2 is for 6 months & up, so your son is probably ready. I just started Lucas on stage 2 tonight & he won't be 6 months until next week. He did great. The consistency is the same, it's just larger jars & more variety of foods. Right now I'm only feeding him solids twice a day, but I'm considering going to 3. I guess it all depends on how much your son eats.

I don't use any recipes for babyfood. I just steam them and puree them with a bit of water. I have done sweetpotato, carrots and butternut sqaush so far. Here is a good website http://www.wholesomebabyfood.com/

I saw you got mirena a few months ago and was just wondering if you still liked it?? I'm considering it but just don't know... I've heard a lot of women say they bleed for months at first. Would love your input.

Hey there! They are inducing me early because I have pre-eclampsyia. I have been on strict bedrest for 2 weeks and in the hospital for almost a week now with my diastolic averaging 100 (should be in 80's).

Do you have one of those little finger toothbrushes? That's what I use now to see if her teeth bothering her or something else. When I stick my finger in her mouth with it on, she will chew like crazy, but it's when she puts it the side of her mouth and chomps away I know it's her teeth. She has lost her appetite at times, too and just wants to chew on the bottle. Yesterday was a teething day!! She's got another just ready to pop at the side so I'm letting her chew on the finger brush alot! Still haven't had to use any tylenol!!

hey there, just to let you know that teething is more common than I thought at 4 months. My daughter is 5 months next week and has 2 teeth at the bottom. Freaks me out! lol. I did find some stuff for teething that is fantastic - it's call Camilia - I got it here in Canada, but I'm sure they have it in the states. comes in vials with liquid - instant relief. I'm so happy I found this. I haven't used tylenol in 2 weeks since I found it. Just like to pass this stuff along. I also started cereal at 4 months - she loves it

hi! i saw your post in the forum about diapers! My baby is a month today and we have used only target diapers, she is just getting to the second size. i am satisfied with them, no major diaper rash, and they haven't been leaking- i guess that could just be the difference between the girl and boy babies though! i'm probably going to stick with them because of the price and i have about a million target gift cards from showers and everything! good luck!

Have you tried going on WIC? I don't know how hubby and I would be doing it with the formula if we didn't have it. I can tell you one thing. I would be breastfeeding more. I get 5 or 4 cans per check and the total of those checks is like $115!!! WOW!! That GOODNESS for WIC!!

gabe always buries his face in the bumper..i guess it must be cozy for him..i pull him away all the time! i tried taking it down and he wouldn't sleep because he could see all around and plus he would kick his legs out and get them stuck! that is great that he is sleeping 8-9 hrs straight :)

shootinstarzzz - Sunday, 27 April
lol..they sound very much alike! watch out cuz Tristan has done every milestone early and has been very active, he crawled early and is walking at 11 mths old so ur lil guy will prob be like that if he is already moving about his crib so much. I thought of the suffitcation thing too but he kept bonking his head on the crib rails and his arms and legs would be sticking out between the bars so i thought it was safer for him if i left them in, he woke up one morning with a huge red mark on his forehead from hitting his head in the top of the crib.

tabatha - Friday, 25 April
wow! i had the exact same prob with my child..he would only sleep on his tummy..my doc said as long as the baby has good head control it is fine! so don't worry..now as for the bumper..this is what i did..,my baby does the same thing! they makes breathable bumpers that are made of mesh, so if baby does press his face there..he can breath! they are usually out of stock but this site has them! here is a link for the bumper and good luck! he is sure a cutie!

G'day, my little bub scoots around her cot too, but daddy wraps (swaddles) her really tight at bed time which seems to really help stop her from wriggling & flopping around the bed.

aww..ur son is adorable, My baby and ur baby have been talking, tristan was and is the same way since he was bout 2 mths old and still is at 11 mths old a belly sleeper..... he also would scoot himself till the top of his head was pushed into the side of the crib, i kept the bumper pads in to protect his head till he started standing and using them to stand on so then bumber pads came out, lil stinker stands on everything..he also was a gassy baby so i think him being on his tummy helped his tummy feel better, he also turned his head and had good head control so i let him sleep on his tummy.

I had the same experience with the gentlease and I switched to the lipil with iron and his poo is normal again:) Hope this helps

charm - Saturday, 5 April
Yup when I changed from breast milk to formula, my baby's poop was the same. The poo is different from breast milk poo thats for sure. It went from yellow seed like poo on breast milk to a kinda dark green pastey like on formula and it STINKS... sometimes I have to open a window it smells that bad. You said your baby's poo is watery. Is it more watery than before? if its more than before you might want to keep an eye on that just in case of diarrhea. If you are really concerned about it.. talk to your doctor just to make sure everything is ok. You will also notice that your baby will poop less too on formula which is all normal too. Well at least Emily pooped ALOT less. She went from poop every feeding to just one poo a day or every other day. Good luck with everything. Your little fellow is soo cute too by the way.

manda... I tried baby bliss- it's great. My son was very gassy and still has the hiccups frequently but the gripe water works wonders! It helps with the gas to lay baby on their belly too. I also warm up my son's formula for about 30 seconds in the microwave before I give it to him- that's helped alot too. Good luck and blessings to you and your little one.

jamie1stTime - Friday, 14 Mar
I use Gripe Water when Brady gets gassy. It helps a lot and he actually really likes the taste. The brand that I use is something Bliss (sorry can't get up right now I'm bf!lol). Good Luck
