I wanted to Thank everyone that responded to my "glucose issue". It is so nice to know that others have gone through the same stuff or possibly could. This site is great when you want to hear people that can relate to your life. Its really nice. But on a good note...I passed, so no GD.

thankyou sooo much mommas for all your words and advice.. i havent had to give her formula!!!! i was exclusivley pumping due to latching issues, and i got her to breast today soo im soooo excited, im sure its helping the milk situation!!!! thanks again your alll soo supportive and sweet =]

I know....it seems like everyday I am worrying about another bill. I just get tired of working sometimes and staying on top of things, but then never feeling ahead of the game. Oh well thanks for sharing your thoughts. Hope your pregnancy is going well!

ladies please help!!!!

gwen wont stop eating and rooting today i have been feeding her alll day consantly and she still thinks or is hungry.. i only have so much breast milk, and i know that she is getting a sufficiant ammount of milk more than a ounce a hour about 1.5 oz a hour and she is 3 weeks... i dont want to have to start on formula.. is she just bored? i tried giving her a suckie and shes not buying it today, what shoudl i do just let her nurse on a dry breast?

So ..I had my glucose test today...Not bad. I remember it being okay with our daughter and this time was the same. I got the orange flavor..yum!! LOL But wierd part about it was how I felt about 30 minutes after. It went down fine and everything but 30 minutes later I felt light headed and really wierd. The nurse told me its a "sugar rush" . I hated the feeling! So on the way homw I started to get lightheaded and hot flashes and felt REALLY wierd. Almost like I was gonna pass out. So I got home quickly and raced into the house to get food in me. But I barely was even able to do it. So I reheated some rice and chicken from lastnight and got the plate and started SHOVING food into my mouth. Once my food got down I felt perfect. I was also shoving 3...yes 3....granola bars into my mouth while my food was reheating. I also ate lots!

Has anyone else experienced a wierd reaction to the drink?

Also when she was drawing my blood I felt a "release" sensation from feeling lightheaded. She said it is almost like a release of the sugar out of my body...

What have been your reactions to the drink?

todays been a rough day...

its a year since i gave birth to my twins and my son died that same day. im goin nuts... n ive had lots of pain from the baby puttin pressure so im trying not to drive myself nuts and put myself in early labor!

please keep my lil man and i in ur prayers
things are starting to look up... and im hoping God is blessing us in so many ways...

heyy ladies!
had an ob appt 2day...
basic apt.

walk in.
pee in cup.
weigh myself (( so i gained 2 lbs in 4 weeks... but figure that friday the munchkin had gained 1 lb 5 oz... so... its all goin 2 him! lol! THANK GOD! )) so its a total weight gain of 12 lbs!

n e ways... did the glucose test. guess the results will be ready in a few days....

(( the drink wasnt too bad. like orange gateorade))...

-please pray i dont get pregnancy diabetes!... for 2 reasons... 1 cuz it sux n 2 cuz im a sweets pheen! lmao. id freakin go nuts!

hope all are doing well.
10 weeks left! got the next ob appt in 3 weeks...

hope time flys! i want my lil one in my arms already

Thank you, I totally understand the limited space thing to. We were actually living with my parents last Christmas as well! My husband was deployed so we stayed with them and had most of their toys in storage but even the ones we kept at my parents, as limited as it was, they still made a lot of mess so I had to be even more careful about what I chose because of it! Plus I to hate all the junky toys that just end up laying around the house taking up space. Happy shopping!

If you only knew how hard it is to "stay stong". I tell ya if it wasn't for my kids, I don't think I would have gotten through this at all. Yea my kids drive me crazy, but when they all go to sleep and you check on them right before you go to bed you feel complete. And when they can make you laugh. My only concern has been how hard this has been on them. I mean my 7 year old saw me cry last week and when he heard me he said under his breath "oh mommy". Makes me feel even more guilty ya know.
