Message to all: This message is not intended for any one person, but a general statement to all members of the site. After hearing what you all think in regards to posting photos on the forums, we have modified the rules and ask that everyone familiarize yourself so that the site continues to remain friendly for everyone, including new members. In an effort to be respectful of all members of the site, we ask that members do not post more than ONE photo or video per person in the weekly, monthly and information forums. Your ONE picture should be small in size as well. Any large photos will be deleted. You are welcome to post as many pictures as you would like in the photo books, which were created for the purpose of sharing and viewing photos. You may also post as many blogs as you would like with photos in them. We understand that many members enjoy posting and viewing pictures on the forums, but this is not where they belong. We must keep the pictures on the boards to a minimum so that the written comments can continued to be written and read. Otherwise, the numerous amounts of large pictures squash the messages and they become missed. We ask that this modification be respected, therefore any member that continues to post numerous pictures a day will be deleted from the site. Thank you all for helping us keep the site friendly and welcoming for all members.

Message to all: In the last 2 years you all posted 1.1 million photos to the site, and that needs a little maintenance. We are currently renaming all photos from the personal photobooks in order to speed up the site. Some, or all your photos may not show while we are working on the photobooks. You don't have to do anything. We hope to have all photos sorted in about 24 hours from now. You can upload new photos to your photobook while the computer is working on your other photos. Thanks for reading.

Message to all This may be interesting to some of you. Seema`s email is seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com

Hi there,

I work for a television production company based in the UK . We are currently making a documentary for ITV1 exploring the issues surrounding pregnancy and eating disorders. The film will be a thoughtful and insightful look into this extremely sensitive subject.

We’re in the research stage of our production and very keen to chat to women who are, or have been, pregnant whilst having an eating disorder.

If you’re interested in having a chat or finding out more about our documentary, it would be really great to hear from you. All communication would be in complete confidence.

You can contact me on: seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com

Sx

CONGRATS!!!

I would call your Dr. Every Dr is different. Some will have you come in and start labor and some will make you wait. I would call and just let them know.

Thanks for the encouragement. I appreciate it. That is why I love this site, it seems like everyone on here has helped in someway because they have been there done that. Sometimes the world doesn't understand, but a woman who is there and has been there can give you the boost to get through one more day.

My husband wanted me to get a new doctor this month, but I'm at the end and my doctor probably won't deliver my baby any way. I'm going to a different one this week. Even though I have GD, they say my baby will be normal sized. I'm not measuring ahead and was told by a nurse this week that she's probably 6 1/2 pounds...exactly average. I work really hard to control the diabetes and haven't had any elevated blood sugars in the 7 weeks since diagnosis. Yipee!

adriennella - Friday, 8 August
That's great that your doc listens to your five million questions! I feel like a nuisance to my doctor at times. She's so speedy that I forget what I want to ask, so I now have to type out my questions in advance. She generally answers with "That's normal" or "That's fine"...nothing else. When I got gestational diabetes, I wanted more answers and more care, but she said that I was handling the diabetes just fine so I didn't need anything extra. I'm much more fine with it now. Sorry for ranting!

Hope you meet your happy, healthy baby soon!

I'd bet. I was just asking because my doc never gives me weight, just fundal length. Are they talking about induction or C-section with you?

Did the doctor tell you how many weeks you're measuring?

augustbump - Tuesday, 15 July
Thanks, I'll have to look into that if he is still breech. I didn't know it was an option. Thanks again!

augustbump - Monday, 14 July
Thanks for your comment. I will be having him vaginally if at all possible. He is still breech however...so only time will tell on that one lol. I find out how big he is again in 2 weeks and also what end he has up...I hope it works out because the size doesn't bother me...and I would love to have him without a c section. Thanks again for your words of encouragement and advice.

cartersmommy - Sunday, 13 July
Because he is big I guess. And the doctor I go to doesn't normally let women go past their duedates. But mainly he is taking the baby early because he is big.

carlybarleyx - Sunday, 13 July
Not sure how accurate they are really, when I had my daughter they said she'd be about 7.12 and she was 7.14 so not bad!
xx

carlybarleyx - Saturday, 12 July
wow that is quite big! Are they going to induce you?
xx

MommyToGirls - Saturday, 12 July
Yikes, 1 to 1/2 pounds! We're definitely in trouble!!! Good luck to you too!

jobean38 - Saturday, 12 July
No he didn't mention that but was no concerned. You could end up having the baby early... I have a friend who was told big baby etc... and she had her at 36 weeks and she was 7lbs. I have heard that their estimates are not 100% accurate. Let's just hope it means our babies will pack on fat slowly and be a little bit early! If it helps both of my sister's babies were more than 9lbs and she was fine, and the babies were great. If anything they were 'sturdier'. Good luck girl!

MommytoGirls - Friday, 11 July
Hi, I'm from 25 weeks - someone else in 25 weeks posted this link regarding baby weight and weeks. Thought it might be helpful. http://www.babycenter.com/average-fetal-length-weight-chart.

Did you have an ultrasound recently that told you the weight? My last baby was 9lbs 11.5 oz and I'm hoping not to have another big baby! But my dr. isn't sending me for another ultrasound for a while!

STCT - Friday, 11 July
What did the Dr say? Is he going to watch the weight? Around this time I think they should weight about 4-5lbs.
