Laura Ward - Sunday, 7 December Message to all: This message is not intended for any one person, but a general statement to all members of the site. After hearing what you all think in regards to posting photos on the forums, we have modified the rules and ask that everyone familiarize yourself so that the site continues to remain friendly for everyone, including new members. In an effort to be respectful of all members of the site, we ask that members do not post more than ONE photo or video per person in the weekly, monthly and information forums. Your ONE picture should be small in size as well. Any large photos will be deleted. You are welcome to post as many pictures as you would like in the photo books, which were created for the purpose of sharing and viewing photos. You may also post as many blogs as you would like with photos in them. We understand that many members enjoy posting and viewing pictures on the forums, but this is not where they belong. We must keep the pictures on the boards to a minimum so that the written comments can continued to be written and read. Otherwise, the numerous amounts of large pictures squash the messages and they become missed. We ask that this modification be respected, therefore any member that continues to post numerous pictures a day will be deleted from the site. Thank you all for helping us keep the site friendly and welcoming for all members.
Dirk - Friday, 5 December Message to all: In the last 2 years you all posted 1.1 million photos to the site, and that needs a little maintenance. We are currently renaming all photos from the personal photobooks in order to speed up the site. Some, or all your photos may not show while we are working on the photobooks. You don't have to do anything. We hope to have all photos sorted in about 24 hours from now. You can upload new photos to your photobook while the computer is working on your other photos. Thanks for reading.

Hi there,
I work for a television production company based in the UK . We are currently making a documentary for ITV1 exploring the issues surrounding pregnancy and eating disorders. The film will be a thoughtful and insightful look into this extremely sensitive subject.
We’re in the research stage of our production and very keen to chat to women who are, or have been, pregnant whilst having an eating disorder.
If you’re interested in having a chat or finding out more about our documentary, it would be really great to hear from you. All communication would be in complete confidence.
You can contact me on: seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com

Then she said go home and stay off your feet. NOW, HOW?!?! LOL i am so excited to meet the lil peanut.. it's hard knowing you are so close.. yet so far away...
mellowyellow - Tuesday, 15 July Hi Melo, I had my first baby Mitchell at 35 weeks due to my blood pressure problems. He was sent to the Neonatal ward for about an hour for checking, but he was prefectly healthy and had no problems! He was delivered by c-section; after trying to induce me but he didn'tt want to come out! The Drs tried the forceps and vontouse. He was 6 pounds neat. Had a couple of days under the lights due to jaundice, which can be quite normal for a pre term bub. He is one of the healthiest kids ever and has never had any health probs. I hope this helps relieve your anxiety. Good luck and I be checking back to c how u went! Cheers, Melanie

heavymetalmama - Wednesday, 2 July I had to take a 24-hour urine during my last pregnancy. Its kind of a pain the butt. My BP was up and I was swelling, so had all kinds of nonstress tests and such, but no preeclampsia. Its just a precaution to make sure you aren't spilling any protein into your urine.
armywifeash - Thursday, 19 June Can you ask the hospital if they have a child care service on site for such an occasion? You cant be the first person to be in this situation... That is completely unfair they don't let kids in the waiting room. They are family too and as long as they are behaving, whats the harm? I would be panicking too since I know NO ONE where I live... Good luck!
donnamarie - Thursday, 19 June none of your friends will watch your children while you are in labor????!?! what is wrong with them? is your husband the ONLY person you were planning on being at the hospital? Because if anyone else shows up to wait for you i would stick the kids with them out side in the waiting room. I cant believe no one will help you all out! :( I hope you find someone soon so your husband can be there for you hun
CARLY4BUMP - Thursday, 19 June i would offer to look after them for you. but i stay to far away.. is there some sort of day care centre in the hosiptal ? or maybe the neighbour could come in and sit with them while your in labour? xx
mellowyellow - Thursday, 19 June Hi, Thanks for your reply. I have a few friends who have been through this dreaming thing too. Just scary; I need to relax a bit more I think! Good luck with everything, Mel
nicole2216 - Tuesday, 10 June Thanks! My husband has a huge head. Lol he is 6"6 with a baseketball head. So maybe it is genetics. My father had a big one too. My hsband was 10lbs and my dad was 14. So maybe it is genetics. Thanks for the response. This pregnacy is hard!
jomama03 - Monday, 9 June oh cool I hope this baby has hair thanks for tour info
3rdtimesacharm - Wednesday, 4 June I saw your post and wanted to let you know that I too am measuring big, almost 4 weeks and have sense the 18 week mark. The dr. just says not to buy anything newborn :) This is my 2nd baby and my 1st was almost 9 pounds, so this one is not going to be any smaller. I too am scheduled a special ultrasound, but the dr. just said its to try to get an estimated weight of the liitle miss and make sure I don't have too much fluid. I wouldn't freak out, she said if everything else is normal than it should be nothing to worry about. Hope this helps and good luck!
southernlawgrl - Tuesday, 3 June Hello… this is my second but my 1st is now 12. I thought about taking a refresher course but to be honest I didn’t use anything out of the 1st set of classes I took. The people in the delivery room will be very helpful… and just like raising your children every child birth is different you can no sooner plan for anything :). My daughter was born at Mary Immaculate hospital in Newport News… and with the amount of military and births they do in the area you will have lots of advice. Best of luck to you
*Estrella* - Tuesday, 3 June hey there, I'm on my third pregnancy and i did the whole six week class thing with my ex husband. My first sons birthing experience was pretty traumatic and i ended up with and epidural and 26 hours of labor to have him delivered with forceps. I think the class was helpful and informative for that kinda birth. With my second son we didn't take a class, and had our second son all natural and it was a completely smooth birth. I felt like a birthing class woulda been silly since we had already had a child 28 months ago. Well this time around i have a new husband and this will be his first child. i am wanting a all natural birth again and i am having midwife's this time around to support that, but hubby and i will be taking a all day weekend class in the middle of July. i want him to be informed plus it's been three and a half years since Ive given birth so a refresher i think will be nice. Plus they talk about newborn care which is going to be nice for him i think. Sorry to go on and on. It really depends on how comfortable you are on birthing and if you'll think he'll be a good couch for you. I couldn't hurt the two of you to take one together either.
ktdid - Tuesday, 3 June i've decided to not take classes because its extra money and time i don't have. i think as long as your reading and learning on your own you'll be ok. but if you realy want to take a class do it and your partner should understand it will help you feel better...good luck
cgatmsu - Tuesday, 3 June If you want to take a class you might as well, can't hurt anything. Of course, I did take a class and I was still clueless as to what was actually happening to me. I do think stuff was in the back of my mind so I was able to cope quite well and when it came time to push I was able to do it. I sometimes have to tell my hubby that this is not something he needs, but it is something that I need. Good luck!
lilgracie - Friday, 30 May Nice comment to mariela!!!!! I was wanting to write the same thing!!!!
leehappyascanbe - Friday, 30 May Hi there, i read your post about the castrol oil, i have heard bad things about it also i would hate for that to happen...i pooped a little with my second son and i just gave up on pushing because of it..lol. But just wondering if you have any other suggestions about bring on labour...my doc said if i don't go by 38 she will induce me i don't want that...i was induced with my other two and i really wanted it to come on at home and well sorta natural. i heard to drink blue cohosh tea but im so nervise that it might be not good, kinda the same thing as the oil, do you know? well if you can help that would be great. thanks HAPPY PREGNANCY TO YOU. Good Luck.
