Thank you for checking on me. Morning sickness is starting to set in. I'm alright with it though... no complaints. I didn't have a lot of sickness with my first baby and it made me nervous..... of course.... that pregnancy ended in miscarriage. So when I'm sick now, it reminds me that my hormone levels are still going up.... and that bub is okay.
I'm having my wisdom tooth extracted in surgery tomorrow morning. Since I'm pregnant.... they can't put me to sleep. The only thing they can do that is safe for the baby is numb my mouth with a shot! Can you believe that? It's going to be awful!
I'm a nervous wreck.
I just hope I'm not in too much pain for the days following. I have a whole day of things to do on Tuesday so it will be interesting to see how that comes along.
How are you coming along. It seems that you're growing more positive... and that's wonderful. I had good days and bad days following my miscarriage for a long time... and eventually there were a lot more good days than bad. To be honest with you, even though I'm pregnant again, I still have my bad days.
A friend of mine found out that she was pregnant just one week after I did with my first baby. Shes showing now... and she just found out two weeks ago what she was having.... watching her grow and enjoy her pregnancy has been tough because I'm always reminding myself that I would be in her shoes had we not lost our baby.
But God had a very special reason for allowing this to pass so I have to thank him for that. I'm confident that wonderful things are in store for my husband and I and this baby that we've been blessed with now.... is doing wonderful. Sometimes, I have trouble convincing myself to readjust my focus on the wonderful things.
I love all of these poems that you've found. My husband and I had our ultrasound picture with our angel baby custom framed and beneath the picture we framed some words from a poem that I found. It's gorgeous and we'll keep it on an easel in our home forever. I always want to number the baby in our family... it's only fair. I want our future children to know all about their older brother or sister and how much joy they brought to our lives... even if it was for just a short time.
Someday... we'll be reunited with our little one and I want him or her to know that I spent my life thinking about them.
Well.... this is getting quite long and hubbie is starting to wonder if I want to spend time with him today.
