Laura Ward - Sunday, 7 December Message to all: This message is not intended for any one person, but a general statement to all members of the site. After hearing what you all think in regards to posting photos on the forums, we have modified the rules and ask that everyone familiarize yourself so that the site continues to remain friendly for everyone, including new members. In an effort to be respectful of all members of the site, we ask that members do not post more than ONE photo or video per person in the weekly, monthly and information forums. Your ONE picture should be small in size as well. Any large photos will be deleted. You are welcome to post as many pictures as you would like in the photo books, which were created for the purpose of sharing and viewing photos. You may also post as many blogs as you would like with photos in them. We understand that many members enjoy posting and viewing pictures on the forums, but this is not where they belong. We must keep the pictures on the boards to a minimum so that the written comments can continued to be written and read. Otherwise, the numerous amounts of large pictures squash the messages and they become missed. We ask that this modification be respected, therefore any member that continues to post numerous pictures a day will be deleted from the site. Thank you all for helping us keep the site friendly and welcoming for all members.
Dirk - Friday, 5 December Message to all: In the last 2 years you all posted 1.1 million photos to the site, and that needs a little maintenance. We are currently renaming all photos from the personal photobooks in order to speed up the site. Some, or all your photos may not show while we are working on the photobooks. You don't have to do anything. We hope to have all photos sorted in about 24 hours from now. You can upload new photos to your photobook while the computer is working on your other photos. Thanks for reading.

wolf spirit - Monday, 13 October with my first daughter we had her on a wed and the found her level started at a 12. it went up but by friday it went down to an 11. They told us we could take her home over the weekend but to see our pediatrician monday. On monday's visit(which ironically was valentine's day)our pediatrician took one look at her and had us go to the Hopital lab to test her level. She had gone to a 22. They admitted her right then to the NICU put her on two lights and a biliblanket. They stopped my breastfeeding for a day and used formula, so i was pumping until i was able to witch back. The more they go to the bathroom the more the junk clears from their system. breastfed babies don't have quite as many diapers at first as formula ones. That thursday her levels dropped back to a 10 or 11 and they let her come home. They look at how many hours old the baby is on a chart and depending on the hours old and the level what is in the safe zone or the area they want them under the lights.
With my second daughter she was testing at a 7 then spiked at a 9 and went back down. I was still able to breastfeed but we use some formula to supplement with it. She didn't require an additional hospital stay besides the 48 hours we were there. I was glad because the first time i didn't take it well and didn't take care of myself while Bre was in the hospital.
I wasn't eating and i was at the NICU nearly all day or running back and forth bringing them pumped breastmilk. The hardest was when the visiting hours were closed from 6 to 8pm. I was scared didn't really understand what was going on and didn't know anyone who went through the same thing. Now i know it's not really that big an issue. Easily treatable and pretty common. It's hard not being able to take your baby home but once you get to, it's such a great feeling. Keep me posted and feel free to write if you need to. I'm up every 2 to 3 hours with this one anyway
wolf spirit - Sunday, 12 October Saw your post on Jaundice.. I have gone through the jaundice thing twice with both my daughters now. I am O positive blood and my husband is A Positive. Both my girls are A positive blood types (like daddy). Do you know what the bilirubin count is for your little one? With my first she spiked dangerously high and ended up in the NICU. With our recent addition we had her in the nursery for 2 days and they checked her count the following 2 days after when we were able to take her home. Much easier this second time and she is doing great! I know how scary it can be so please feel free to message me if you need a mommy who's been there twice. the first time was terrifying and doubled with postpardum blues. This time much easier and i actually understood what was going on. Congrats on your newest addition by the way!
corinnescully - Saturday, 11 October congratulations on the birth f your beautiful son
girleo - Wednesday, 8 October I thought about him getting up all night long, I think i'm going to put a gate up and keep him in his room, his room is right next door to our room, I wouldn't want to shut the door, but with a gate up just at his door, at least i know he's going to be in one place, instead of all over the house, he still takes ANY chance he gets to do something he isn't supposed to... like climb on the couch, and jump off...

Hi there,
I work for a television production company based in the UK . We are currently making a documentary for ITV1 exploring the issues surrounding pregnancy and eating disorders. The film will be a thoughtful and insightful look into this extremely sensitive subject.
We’re in the research stage of our production and very keen to chat to women who are, or have been, pregnant whilst having an eating disorder.
If you’re interested in having a chat or finding out more about our documentary, it would be really great to hear from you. All communication would be in complete confidence.
