Message to all: This message is not intended for any one person, but a general statement to all members of the site. After hearing what you all think in regards to posting photos on the forums, we have modified the rules and ask that everyone familiarize yourself so that the site continues to remain friendly for everyone, including new members. In an effort to be respectful of all members of the site, we ask that members do not post more than ONE photo or video per person in the weekly, monthly and information forums. Your ONE picture should be small in size as well. Any large photos will be deleted. You are welcome to post as many pictures as you would like in the photo books, which were created for the purpose of sharing and viewing photos. You may also post as many blogs as you would like with photos in them. We understand that many members enjoy posting and viewing pictures on the forums, but this is not where they belong. We must keep the pictures on the boards to a minimum so that the written comments can continued to be written and read. Otherwise, the numerous amounts of large pictures squash the messages and they become missed. We ask that this modification be respected, therefore any member that continues to post numerous pictures a day will be deleted from the site. Thank you all for helping us keep the site friendly and welcoming for all members.

Message to all: In the last 2 years you all posted 1.1 million photos to the site, and that needs a little maintenance. We are currently renaming all photos from the personal photobooks in order to speed up the site. Some, or all your photos may not show while we are working on the photobooks. You don't have to do anything. We hope to have all photos sorted in about 24 hours from now. You can upload new photos to your photobook while the computer is working on your other photos. Thanks for reading.

hey just wondering if you got the book??

Hi! I was going though the same thing with my little guy. He would go to bed around 10/11, but get up again around 4/5am and only fall back to sleep if I held him. Right now what I do is I try to feed him (I'm nursing, so it's easy) and if he won't eat I cuddle him for a few minutes, sometimes tell him a story in a really soft voice and then put him back into his crib. Sometimes he fusses to be picked up again, but unless it's full fledged crying/screaming I will just rub his head and talk gently to him . I think it's just reassurance and comfort knowing mummy is around - but it did take a little bit to get out of the habit of falling back to sleep in my arms. Good luck!

mine gets cranky too at the same time, and its because he's exhausted....we've started a routine that usually works well....he gets 6 ounces at around four or five, then we make supper, eat at six (he watches us from his swing), bathtime is around seven (every nite. same time or after same series of events. watch me do the dishes, read a story with daddy), then at seven thirty he drinks anywhere between 4 and 7 ounces, (insert pacifier here) we cuddle and he maybe watches daddy play a video game for about fifteen or twenty minutes before he starts to get extra whiny (he rubs his eyes, yawns, and whimpers as a sign) so i walk around for about ten minutes and sing a lullaby to calm him down, then he goes in his crib. we have a music thing that plays some adagios, rain sound, crickets, etc...so that goes on for constant soft noise, and he lies there and sucks his pacifier with his eyes closed and makes some little noises for a bit, but falls asleep eventually. all said, he's in bed by 8:15, and usually asleep by 8:45.....then he's up around 8 in the morning, but for the first time in three weeks, he got me up at 5:56 (ugh) today...inserted pacifier, and got another 45 minutes out of him....good luck. seriously tho, routine is the key.....plus that we've been letting him put himself to sleep since he was three weeks old....:o) keep at it. it'll work. and no, mine's not getting cereal or solids yet either...(but i was thinking maybe a taste of cereal for a christmas treat....i mean, i get PIE...so its the least i can do.....:o)

Lily is 13 weeks and gets cranky between 5 and 7 and i put her down at 730-8 she sleeps until 4 when i give her a bottle and she snuggles with me until she is sound asleep and i put her into her own bed and she sleeps until 7-8am. she has a cereal bottle as her final bottle at night and vegies around 4-5pm i really think this has helped( she wakes more in the night if she misses her last bottle) as have having a rough routine ( long play in the bath after veg, cuddles and bottle and bed)

jlg70383 - Saturday, 29 November
i recommend that you put him to bed when he gets ill. i have the sleep sense program if you would like to read it it will also teach you how to get him to sleep on his own. my son goes to bed between 7-8 and i lay him down and he will cry for like a second and go right to sleep all by himself. he has been doing this for a couple of weeks now so maybe it could help you. if you want it send me your email address and i will email it to you.

Message to all This may be interesting to some of you. Seema`s email is seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com

Hi there,

I work for a television production company based in the UK . We are currently making a documentary for ITV1 exploring the issues surrounding pregnancy and eating disorders. The film will be a thoughtful and insightful look into this extremely sensitive subject.

We’re in the research stage of our production and very keen to chat to women who are, or have been, pregnant whilst having an eating disorder.

If you’re interested in having a chat or finding out more about our documentary, it would be really great to hear from you. All communication would be in complete confidence.

You can contact me on: seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com

Birth story & Pictures are up! Good luck sweetie and let me know how things go.

That's true. I think a lot of the older mothers or repeated mothers think that us first time young mothers make poor decisions but people have their own opinion and that we cant stop. But Congrats on your bundle of joy!

Monica1st - Wednesday, 3 September
I think your comment on 39week was good. That just because we chose that option of getting induce doesn't automatically make us bad mothers.

Mrs.Godwin - Friday, 29 August
Yea and its not like you can talk to his mom about him or vent about her lol. My BFs sis is here but thats it. I know exactly how that is.

I'm sorry that happened to you, with everything else we are dealing with right now. I wanted to tell you that I have fallen twice in the last month (just over my feet for no reason)! I know you will feel better when the Dr tells you this, but don't worry. The baby is very safe in there! I hope you get well soon!

babybooboo - Wednesday, 30 July
I asked they other doctor about the popping noise. He didn't know what it is. I think it because the baby is not moving as much, so when they do their joints just crack. It's happens to me a lot.
