Message to all: This message is not intended for any one person, but a general statement to all members of the site. After hearing what you all think in regards to posting photos on the forums, we have modified the rules and ask that everyone familiarize yourself so that the site continues to remain friendly for everyone, including new members. In an effort to be respectful of all members of the site, we ask that members do not post more than ONE photo or video per person in the weekly, monthly and information forums. Your ONE picture should be small in size as well. Any large photos will be deleted. You are welcome to post as many pictures as you would like in the photo books, which were created for the purpose of sharing and viewing photos. You may also post as many blogs as you would like with photos in them. We understand that many members enjoy posting and viewing pictures on the forums, but this is not where they belong. We must keep the pictures on the boards to a minimum so that the written comments can continued to be written and read. Otherwise, the numerous amounts of large pictures squash the messages and they become missed. We ask that this modification be respected, therefore any member that continues to post numerous pictures a day will be deleted from the site. Thank you all for helping us keep the site friendly and welcoming for all members.

Message to all: In the last 2 years you all posted 1.1 million photos to the site, and that needs a little maintenance. We are currently renaming all photos from the personal photobooks in order to speed up the site. Some, or all your photos may not show while we are working on the photobooks. You don't have to do anything. We hope to have all photos sorted in about 24 hours from now. You can upload new photos to your photobook while the computer is working on your other photos. Thanks for reading.

Baby Helly - Thursday, 30 October
I took Ryan to the Dr today because his belly button was sticking out a lot. The Dr told me that he has an umbilical hernia. Has anyone else experienced this with their little one. Right now it's not bothering him but if his stomach muscle doesn't fuse together and push his intestine back into his stomach, there is a possiblilty he may need surgery when he is older. I'm really freaked out!!

Message to all This may be interesting to some of you. Seema`s email is seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com

Hi there,

I work for a television production company based in the UK . We are currently making a documentary for ITV1 exploring the issues surrounding pregnancy and eating disorders. The film will be a thoughtful and insightful look into this extremely sensitive subject.

We’re in the research stage of our production and very keen to chat to women who are, or have been, pregnant whilst having an eating disorder.

If you’re interested in having a chat or finding out more about our documentary, it would be really great to hear from you. All communication would be in complete confidence.

You can contact me on: seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com

Sx

I know what you mean about the u/s. This was the first one I had since I was 18 weeks along. I see everybody else talking about their amniotic fluid levels being low and I wonder how in the world my doctor is keeping up with mine with no u/s. I guess they're not! I am scheduled for my c-section on 9/4. Only 8 more days!!! I can't wait!! Have you had any other complications?

my2sweetbabies - Monday, 25 August
I feel good. I swear he is SO high up though!!! I go straight from boobs to baby! I went to the doc today for my ultrasound and he is 7 lbs. 7 oz. so I'm glad they're taking him at 38 weeks...otherwise I'd be giving birth to a 10 pounder! Have you had an u/s to determine the weight of your baby yet?

my2sweetbabies - Friday, 22 August
Yeah, I just read your post...scary! I'm glad all is well. We're doing well, too. Nothing much happening here, but I'm having my c-section in 13 days so I know I don't have too much longer :) I'm glad to hear you're doing okay. That doc sounded like a real winner.

my2sweetbabies - Thursday, 21 August
Oh, I forgot about the robe!!! You'll want one especially if you wear the hospital gowns since they have the slit in the back. The thinner the robe the better since you will be sweating quite a bit post-partum.

my2sweetbabies - Thursday, 21 August
I totally underpacked for myself last time and overpacked for baby!! This time I'm taking all the essentials travel sized--to save on room--so I can pack more :) . I ended up with an unexpected c-section, so I was there for 5 days. I'll be there for 4 days this time. Of course you'll take stuff like shampoo, conditioner, toothbrush/paste, razor/shave gel (didn't pack this last time and made my sister bring me one), lotion, face wash--I bought the travel size face wipes-they work perfectly b/c you don't have to be at the sink to use them, hair brush, slippers, socks, nightgown--I wouldn't take pj pants b/c they still have to check things down there post-partum--also, I am just planning on wearing the hospital gowns--it's all I wore last time plus it's just one less thing to pack and have to take home and wash--, baby book--they will put the baby's footprints in it for you--you don't want to forget this!!!, ponytail holders, panties-the hospital should give you some disposable ones to wear (sounds weird, but at least you don't have to get yours all gross and have to wash them), favorite pads-if you don't want to wear the hospitals, nursing bra (if nursing), nursing pads--you may want to pack a couple of these just in case you do start leaking-I'm sure the hospital could supply you with some though, A PEN--you will have to fill out paperwork while there, snacks, books/magazines, a pillow from home--that really does help out a lot, change of clothes (remember, you won't be that much smaller than when you came in)...sorry I'm writing you a book here...and last but not least--I am packing my hair dryer and straightener. I have caught a lot of crap about this one, but the better you look, the better you feel!!! Besides, what else are you going to do, you know?

As for baby, I'm just packing a few diapers since the hospital supplies them during your stay, some wipes, a burp cloth, a going-home outfit, hat, socks, blanket, onesie, a pacifier-although the hospital will supply that, too. While you baby is in the hospital, they will supply the little t-shirts for him/her to wear, so you won't need to pack extra clothes for that.

Also, don't forget your camera and don't forget the CARSEAT!!!!!

if you scroll back to a couple of days ago on this week, someone had a link to create your own list. I found it helpful and i am slowly packing my bag as i find the right things to put in it from my checklist. I think the essentials would be a take home outfit for baby and a receiving blanket, change of clothes for your partner, for yourself i would make sure you have a go home outfit, several pairs of "grandma panties", a loose comfy outfit/or nightgown. warm socks, house slippers, some toiletries for you and partner, bit of makeup(i hear you feel better if you get ready while there), snacks, some magazines for you and partner, and a blanket/pillow to make your bed more comfortable. thats pretty much what i am bringing. I have the bag and blanket waiting on my guest bed, & over the last couple days i have been adding to it. good luck!
