Ok ladies...As stated earlier, my Dr told me today that my lil man will be here within the week...But I have a question...I'm getting these 'poking' sensations in my cervix....like the baby has a stick and is actually poking me...anyone else feeling this feeling..it actually is sort of painful...and like 4 or 5 'pokes' in a row...then nothing...then a few more...etc. I read on one website that the feeling is the cervix changing...but not sure about that. Se did say I was 60% effaced cervix was 'mushy' and I'm 1 and half cm dialted..and baby is at a +1 station....any advice?

We are currently renaming all photos from the personal photobooks in order to speed up the site. Some, or all your photos may not show while we are working on the photobooks. I havent noticed too much of a developmental delay, the only thing I have noticed is she isnt reaching for things yet, like toys and stuff. But it is normal for them to be somewhat behind until they reach 2-3 yrs of age. She has to go to a Developmental Clinic on Dec. 6th so Im guessing Ill find out if she is behind and how far then.

Hi. Thanks for answering my comment. Glad your little man is ok. My Lilly weighed 3lbs 3ozs at birth and I was told that was big for a 28wkr. lol She is doing fine. We are battling her first ear infection right now but other than that she is great. Doing better than I really expected her to do, given her early birth.

Hey there - read your post re: pumping. My girls were in NICU for 4 weeks, I struggled to pump as well and it felt like that is ALL I did, pump and store milk. I understand your frustration at the amount of milk, but relax... your body will continue to produce and it will come - I promise! I am breastfeeding twins!!! I pumped every three hours for 15-20 min each time. I even did the three hours during the night, but was able to build up a good enough supply for two. A trick that worked for me was to have a picture of the babies to look at, and I drank water while I pumped. I hope all goes well for you!!!

Thank you. I will look into it. I know if I am still 2cm next ultrasound (why I would be different I don't know) they are going to send me to an obstetrician (that's all I get for higher risk here) and then I'll have ultrasounds every couple of weeks or so.

Thanks for your help. Sorry if I've repeated myself (I may have). I am sort of out of it right now.

It is good to hear they can give the baby shots to make it grow faster. I'll let you know how it goes!
