Message to all: This message is not intended for any one person, but a general statement to all members of the site. After hearing what you all think in regards to posting photos on the forums, we have modified the rules and ask that everyone familiarize yourself so that the site continues to remain friendly for everyone, including new members. In an effort to be respectful of all members of the site, we ask that members do not post more than ONE photo or video per person in the weekly, monthly and information forums. Your ONE picture should be small in size as well. Any large photos will be deleted. You are welcome to post as many pictures as you would like in the photo books, which were created for the purpose of sharing and viewing photos. You may also post as many blogs as you would like with photos in them. We understand that many members enjoy posting and viewing pictures on the forums, but this is not where they belong. We must keep the pictures on the boards to a minimum so that the written comments can continued to be written and read. Otherwise, the numerous amounts of large pictures squash the messages and they become missed. We ask that this modification be respected, therefore any member that continues to post numerous pictures a day will be deleted from the site. Message to all: In the last 2 years you all posted 1.1 million photos to the site, and that needs a little maintenance. We are currently renaming all photos from the personal photobooks in order to speed up the site. Some, or all your photos may not show while we are working on the photobooks. You don't have to do anything. We hope to have all photos sorted in about 24 hours from now. You can upload new photos to your photobook while the computer is working on your other photos. i actually read about the heartbeat thing online, then at one oof my appts the doc said the heartbeat was 140 and it sounded like a boy? i am a total beliver high heartbeat=girl low=boy Good luck on the GIRL!!

So today I finally told the HR lady at the job i'm soppose to start working on the 15th of december that i'm pregnant and she said it was no problem and that it was illegal for her to not give me the job because of it except my job wouldn't be garanteed when i left on medical leave becuase i would have had to be there for more than a 12 months and that meant that they were not necessarly going to look for someone to replace me right away but i might not have the same morning shift as i did before. She is going to leave it up to me when i tell my supervisor though. WHEW, at least thats a weight taken off my shoulders

Krystal, I had the AFP testing as well. They did this as a blood draw along with my maternity panel. They took 6 vials of blood for both so I'm not sure which amount of tubes was for which. No ultrasound testing for this one.

I am actually devastated, they couldn't tell what i was having the babys legs were either closed or the cord was in between the legs I'm so upset! Anyway I can't wait til January so I have booked a 4d scan for the 2nd Dec they would only see me for a gender scan when I'm 16 weeks! I guess that's better then nothing. It was so good seeing the baby again.

Oh, thank you so much for asking! My appointment went very well! At first, my midwife listened to the little one's heartbeat which was at a rate of 153! Then, she said well lets take a quick look at that baby so you can see it for a minute. The little one was just a swinging his/her arms. We looked to see if the swinging arms meant a boxer or a cheerleader, but the cord was in the way. The baby wouldn't allow us a bottoms up view and the cord was laying over the lap. Oh well, the little one is fine and maybe we will find out at my next appt....Dec. 17th!

i thought this would be easier than telling everyone, one at a time! we had "the really big" US today- and all baby parts are accounted for... and it's confirmed: NO INTESTINES in the amniotic fluid this time

also... IT'S A FRIGGIN GIRL!!! who knew!?!?! everything pointed towards boy- but i have a VERY distinct picture of our girl's three little lines. i guess our normal OB was WRONG! weeeee!
soooo, now im going to join the rest of the preggy world and be happy!!! thanks for being so kind to me during my last pregnancy, and for being so optimistic for us :D

i have the best sister, she's doing dentistry at this hospital in london and asked if they could see me and give me a gender determination u/s and they said yes! So i will hopefully know what i'm having on friday (pls have your legs wide open lol) anyone else found out around14-15 weeks? x

Thank You! I hope you feel yours soon too. I havent' felt it again yet, but they say that is common with it still being pretty early and so small. I go to the doc next Wednesday. I would love to be able to see the baby and maybe look to see what gender, but they may just listen to the heartbeat this time and check the sex during my December appt?

OMG!!! I am the same exact way about pooping!! I also feel like so many weird things are going on down there that if my husband watches he will never think of me as sexy again! I feel like it will ruin everything!! Ugh! What to do?? There is NO way he is going in there with a video camera!! I am in the same boat though!! Pooping around others... a definate no-no!!

it's kind of neat, my family/friends can fly here at cost- not paying for hotels ^^ my grandmother was able to fly out this march, and it was pretty awesome :)


that's quite a drive! living on the island has me pampered- it's 2 hours any-which-way you go :) but we don't have a target, babies r us, or any of those other fun places to shop.


woo, good luck with the 17.5 years! what does your hubby do for the air force? chris works on helicopter electronics- and we considered shifting over to the air force when this enlistment was up. but we both want to be around my family, and maybe open up a bar together oneday ^^ i was inches from signing on with the air force just before i met him, and im glad i didn't (wouldnt have met, lol)
