SMiller - Wednesday, 20 August Hey everyone! Just thought I'd let you guys know how my hubby's dentist appointment went. He has several appointments to fix his teeth from his accident back in June. Well they told him last Friday he was going to need a root canal today, we were there for over and hour and a half and they didn't do anything. They said they made a mistake and he didn't need it. Time and gas money wasted, geez. But I know he is excited he didn't get it done. Well, tomorrow is the BIG TESTING DAY. I'm so scared/nervous. Hope all is well with each and every one of you and I hope you all have a GREAT day!
zavana - Wednesday, 20 August heya Just a random question to ask you, As i was reading your profile you had wrote that your average weight gain through pregnancy is 10kgs, and you were worried that you were going to be over that this time? So were you? Hows your little son doing anyways?

SMiller - Sunday, 17 August Hey! Hope your weekend is going good so far. I have four more days before I test, keep your fingers crossed for me.
dasha - Saturday, 16 August New Question. I've been getting what feels like electric shocks in my nipples. Not when he's feeding, but just at random times, and strangely, while rinsing my nether-region with the squeeze bottle of hot water...I know that nether-regions and boobies are connected in some odd way, so that kind of makes sense, but why electric shocks? Seriously, its like having electrodes attached, and is not comfortable AT ALL. Looked up all booby-related BF problems, and don't find that symptom anywhere.....(I've posted this in 0 months too, if you think you're seeing double)
JoJoUK - Saturday, 16 August Hi there well i'm coming up for week 3 of our gorgeous gift Theos life on earth! After an emergency c section and a horrendous epidural that led to spinal fluid leaking migraines for a week we've come through the worse and I am now able to concentrate on enjoying being a first time mum. I've so far managed to breast feed and although sore due to not being able to take his weight in hospital and the limited positions I could feed in now things seem to be healing and breast feeding is not so painful! I'd just like to say thanks for all your blogs that i'm now working my way back through, they contain snippets of gold dust for a new mum like me. Please wish us well with breast feeding as sometimes it's so painful i'm crying while feeding but determined to make this work! Wishing you happiness for your family. x
dasha - Friday, 15 August Thanks a bunch. Actually, today has gone much better. I've learned to be patient, and even if it takes five minutes, its better than just stuffing it in his mouth. Also noticed its alot easier if he's not crying, so have tried getting him on the boob before the "i'm-starving-panic" hits him. Also learnt to tip my nipple towards his palate as I stuff it in, and thats really helped too. Now, if the hamburger nipples would just heal up, I'd be all set....Thanks for your response. Please never leave this site. After six kids, you're a guru to all us new mommas....:o)
dasha - Thursday, 14 August HELP!!! I've read all your blogs, and have about two minutes to write this, as the little one is already fussing and stuffing his fingers in his mouth. HOW DO I GET HIM TO OPEN WIDE ENOUGH TO STUFF IN MY NIPPLE??? My nipples look like raw hamburger, and I'm so sore I cry and give a little howl when he latches on. We're working on positioning, but it takes both my hands to stuff it in, while hubby holds his head (and he goes back to work next week, so I'll be on my own. Scary)....My milk came in yesterday, so I've put a little on my nipples, and let them dry like you suggested, and also have some lanolin, but it hurts so much I'm considering doing formula for the nighttime because I'm sleepy and have no patience by then.....any suggestions you have will be more than welcomed....Help me, Obi Wan! You'Re my only hope!
