8-14-09...16W0D...I AM IN COMPLETE SHOCK...SEE THE COLOR I AM TYPING IN??? OMG...HAD MY 2ND SCAN...THE TECH SAW SIX...YES...SIX LINES!! SHE SAYS WE ARE HAVING TWIN GIRLS...OMG...IDK...I AM IN DENIAL...I HAVE AN ANATOMY SCAN ON 9-1-09 AND I AM SO INTERESTED IN WHAT THAT TECH SAYS...WILL THEY AGREE?? IS 16 WEEKS TOO EARLY TO SEE GIRL PARTS?? I AM A WRECK...AFTER 3 BOYS...THEN TO HEAR 2 GIRLS...AT THE SAME TIME?? OMG...

8-7-09 15w0d~today I did the scan for gender determination...how frustrating...one baby wasnt giving up any info...darn, and the other...well, the tech says she is 85% sure its a girl...how crazy is that? Now I am going crazy....hopefully I can get the pics on here and you can give your opinion...TO ME...at first it looked like a boy kindof...not really a scrotum, but a little nub for a penis maybe...then I saw 3 lines a few times...I go back in a week to re-scan...they should be able to tell both babies then...give your opinion if you can!

8-3-09~~14weeks 3days...well, I have scheduled the appointment for the early gender determination scan in 3-4D for this Friday!! I am so nervous, but I cant wait to hear what they say. I will be exactly 15 weeks then, and they say they have a 90% success rate at that fetal age. We are all hoping for a boy and a girl. That would be perfect. Two girls would be scary, and 2 boys would also be scary...that would make 5 boys for us! My 7year old says he will cry if there are 2 brothers in there. He is too cute!

7-19-09 (12 weeks)

Well, its been a month now, and I think it has sunk in!! We are having TWINS!!! It was an unbelievable shock, but now I am getting used to the idea. I am being watched very carefully...I see the dr every 2 weeks with an ultrasound at each visit. I have failed the first glucose blood test, then took the 3 hour one and passed it! WHEW!! On Friday I went for the nuchal translucency scan. Our risk for downs syndrome is very low...another WHEW!!! I got to see the babies swimmin around in there just as happy as could be! How amazing! The tech did say she thinks baby b may be a girl, but I am not trusting that one bit! I have 3 boys...a girl is very out of the ordinary!! We shall see! I think I will do a 4D ultrasound at about 15 weeks for gender determination. That is the earliest they will do it. We shall see!! Anyhow thats all for now!

Well, I have been sooo sick. I cant keep anything down...literally, NOTHING...not even my own spit. So...on Friday, it was really bad...I was slurring my words, couldnt get up hardly at all to care for my 3 kids. So, my mom saw me this way (luckily) and advised me that I should go to the ER to get an IV...so, she dropped me off there. (I am also a baseball coach, so she had to go help out with my team...thats why she dropped me off!) So, I sit for 4 hours in the waiting room. They finally call my name for a blood draw. (whew, finally). I know I am not good at blood draws, so I tell the lady that...she takes my blood, and I go into a full blown panic...my hands went white, and stiff. This has never happened to me. Luckily my SIL met me at the ER when the baseball game was over, she waited with me. I couldnt sit up, my fingers were like stiff, I couldnt bend them...I couldnt do anything but wonder what in the world they had done to me...they actually wheeled me back out to the waiting room to my SIL and said "if you need a dr, just holler..." WHAT??? I was in no condition to even speak. Luckily she was there to say we NEED A DR NOW!!! They wheeled me back and did have a room...hu??? Once I was able to lay down, my blood flow returned and I felt better. They gave me 2 litres of fluid via IV...after nearly 7 hours in the ER, I was able to keep down some apple juice, so they sent me home. They gave me some anti nausea meds, thank GOD!! But the bad thing is they cause constipation...so I have not had a BM in about 3 days!!! I feel so bloated, and still cant eat. I did keep down some fruit, and toast each day, but thats it. The good thing is that I have not thrown up since then!!! I feel VERY sick, but am able to keep it in...I hope I am feeling better soon! My DH has to go back to work!!!

Here we go again...pregnancy #4! We are all so excited! It feels like this pregnancy will complete our family. Garrin and Casey are 2 years apart, and Logan and this lil one will be 2 years apart too. There are 5 years in between the older boys and the younger. This is just a great blessing to have this baby. It will surely be our last. My husband has been talking about a vasectomy for quite some time now. Looks like he'll get his way, but only after I get mine!! Hahahaha!!! I can say that now after being married for almost 10 years!!! Well, hope to hear and share stories with you all!!

Well, its been a LONG time since I have updated this page, so here we go! Logan is now nearly 4 months old! Where oh where does the time go??? He is a doll!! He is so happy...hardly EVER cries...his cry is more like a quiet moan! I am just so blessed to have the children I do!! My boys are amazing! The older boys LOVE their new brother! They are so protective and loving!!! I am blessed!

Logan Karl Thomas arrived safe and sound on December 11th at 6:30pm. He was 9lbs 4 oz, and 21 1/2 inches long!!! He is just PERFECT!!! We are all adjusting well...luckily my husband is home until after Christmas!

The Bread is done, I just cannot get the oven open!!

Here we are...still no darn baby!!! I am really trying to be patient. Yesterday I took my kids to Dennys for lunch...ate, then had some really bad cramps, so went to the hospital to have them check everything out...found I am 3cm...they had me walk for an hour, checked me again...still 3cm, so they sent me home. I am at least making a little progress...from 1-2 on Tues to 3 yesterday...about 60% effaced. It has to happen soon!! My next appt is Tues the 11th. I just hope he comes before that!! We will wait and see!!! So glad to hear of all of your perfect babies!!! Congrats to you all!!!

December 4th 2007

Ok...we have hit my due date....didnt think this would happen!! Went to the dr today, he says I am still 1-2cm, and 50% effaced. He did scrape my membranes. We will have to see if that helps! I have another appt a week from today, and if no baby, I will be induced on Dec 14th. I have heard some wives tales that if you eat eggplant, have sex, walk in high elevation, etc...that it will trigger labor. Well, today is my anniversary, so we will take care of the first 2 on that list, and tomorrow I will go to Palomar Mountain and walk around the observatory, and come home. Thats about all I can do aside from castor oil...NO THANKS!!! So we shall see...no more than 10 days tho....the days go by so fast...it wont be long!!

Nov 27th 2007

Well, I had my drs appt today...he checked my cervix, and says its closed...huh??? Just a week ago I was 1-2????? He says until you get to about 3cm its all the same...WHATEVER!!! So, I decided that if I havent changed in a week, then maybe its not a great idea to induce me in 2 days. So, I will wait like everyone else. This actually is good because I had a very uneasy feeling about being induced before my due date. I feel alot better waiting another week...I know he will come...sooner isnt always better. Anyhow...no baby on the 29th unless thats when HE decides to come.

November 20th...2007

Well, I just went to my weekly Dr appt. We have scheduled an induction for November 29th...9 days from now!!! AAAHHHH!!!! I asked him to check me just because I was curious...he found I am 1-2 cm dialated already. The Dr and the nurse think I will go into labor before the 29th. I am so nervous and excited I just cant stand it!! I just want to make it thru Thanksgiving before he comes. Next week would be perfect! I have found out that I am GBS positive, and need antibiotics, and my last labor was only 2 hours. I am glad to have this one scheduled, that way maybe there will be some control to the birth process. My last labor was so fast, there wasnt even a dr there. They grabbed a midwife from the hallway to catch the baby! I want some peace before the show!!!

Aug 1st 2007

Yesterday I went for the big 22 week ultrasound! That was so amazing! They were measuring the heart, and all 4 chambers, lungs, bladder, kidneys...all of those special things!!! So crazy they can see everything!!! They did all of the measurements they needed, then told me that the due date the u/s machine has calculated is Nov 24th. Oh my goodness!!! Thats a big difference from Dec 4th!! A week and a half!! I was expecting a couple of days either way, but not 10 days!!! So, they will leave it up to the doctor wether or not they will change my due date!! That sure would be something to have a Thanksgiving Baby!!! So much to be thankfull for!! I hope all of you are well, and you are loving your new bodies!!~I sure am, and have so much relief in the fact that I am feeling my little man almost all day every day!!! In love already!!! I saw a great saying:

Those who dont believe in love at 1st sight have never had a child!!!

That says it perfectly!!!! Have a great time feeling your babies and falling in love BEFORE first sight!!!

18 weeks 4D ultrasound

7-3-07...OK...it has been confirmed....another boy we shall have!! I am thrilled, now comes the hardest part!!! What will we call this little man?? My hubby and I just cant agree...YET!! Good thing we have a few months to decide!!! Well, congrats to all of you!!

Had an u/s today...90% sure its a BOY!!! Oh, wow!! 3 boys for us!! I am so much more excited than I thought I would be!!! I am just not quite satisfied with only 90%, so tomorrow I will go for a 4d ultrasound...then I'll know for sure!!! Still waiting for the kick that I know will come soon!! Dr says baby moves alot, I just cant feel it yet...darn!!!

Well, Here we are...I'll be 18 weeks tomorrow, and still waiting for that first for sure baby kick~~ I go tomorrow to the dr. at 9:30. I am so excited about that, but I am hoping I can beg effectively and have an ultrasound done! I want to know the sex of this baby!!! If tomorrow doesnt work out, then I will go have a 4D ultrasound done this week...probably Tuesday!! Good luck to all of you!! I am reall loving hearing from all of you...its great to have people to share with!!

I'm 15 weeks...can't wait to feel movement...sometimes I think I can, but I'll know when I'm sure. I have 2 handsome boys, they are 7 and almost 5. We are all hoping for a girl!

Hey Kim ! That is a good plan. I am sure that they will schedule you in for an U/S. If not a 4D will be so exciting ! If you haven't felt a kick/movement yet, you will VERY soon. You watch !! How are you feeling otherwise ? Are you having to wear maternity clothes yet ? I am. It's crazy !! I never thought I would be in this situation. It's very exciting.

Hi there, thanks for the CONGRATS!!! You too!!! We just found out that they were both boys on the 21st of June. We knew that 1 of them was a boy but were not sure of the other. This was our 6th attempt at IVF and did all the testing, including the PGD(Pre-Implatation Genetic Diagosing) and during that test we found out the sexes of all 3 embroyos. 2 boys and 1 girl. So that is our story in a nutshell. Yes, i'm able to feel them on occasion, since I'm a little 'fluffy' can't feel them all the time! ;o)

No still no movement yet - I had twinges about a week ago but nothing since and I dont think that was the baby anyway. when did you feel your boys move in your last pregnancies? let me know when you get your doppler and what it's like!!! hope you're feeling well - it's good not to be feeling sick and tired all the time now :) xx

Yea me too, I Had one at ten weeks then my next one wasn't going to be until july 16th, I had a M/C dec.05 and was worried at everything so my hubby made and appt at a 4d center close to where we live i was 16 weeks It was the best thing ever!!!! the first scan she had her legs crossed but the people were so nice they let me come back in a week to do it over for FREE!!! since I already paid them when she was asleep. So anyway, she finally showed us her goods, but mostly I havn't really felt her move a lot so I went for peace of mind!!!

yes, I have felt the baby a few times. Rent a doppler? I didn't know you could do that. My neighbor got me one b/c she thought I had to have one. lol I hope you get an u/s soon. I thought I was getting one last month & said something & then they scheduled it for July 3rd. I've been so impatient b/c I have a lot of friends that want to start buying things. I know once I found out---I'm shopping all day long! lol Well my belly hurts so I'm going to lay down. ttyl & good luck w/ everything.

I am doing good--getting ready for vacation next week. I find out the sex (hopefully) on Tues next week. I'm excited & then we are heading out for vacation if everything is ok w/ baby. Hi There! Sorry I haven't gotten back to you. I had a really busy week at work last week and I has already started on monday! How are you feeling? I have felt the baby move more this week than any. Just this morning the baby was more active than he/she has ever been. I know how you feel about the ultra sound. My next appointment I will be 18 wks along. I wish she would do the ultra sound soon. But I think I am going to have to wait it out. We are hoping for a boy. I have 2 girls and 1 boy. the girls are a handful LOL But either way I don't care as long as the baby is healthy. Are you showing alot yet? Ok well I should get back to work. Take care!

Thanks for the welcome! I am a mommy of one 5 year old boy, 16 weeks pregnany with my second. I am a doula and childbirth educator on Manitoulin Island Ontario. I have been feeling strong movement for aout a week or more, I have kicks that can't be felt outside but the baby rolls around it can be felt on the outside. However I am not showing nearly as much as I did with my first pregnancy. It's funny how different each pregnancy can be! Anyways hope your feeling well and enjoying everyday. Take care of you both
