I work for a television production company based in the UK . We are currently making a documentary for ITV1 exploring the issues surrounding pregnancy and eating disorders. The film will be a thoughtful and insightful look into this extremely sensitive subject.

We’re in the research stage of our production and very keen to chat to women who are, or have been, pregnant whilst having an eating disorder.

Hey newbie, oh my goodness, Jack is sooooooooooo cute :) Yup, I'm still pumpin' away, at this very moment even...It's definately hard to keep up at work, I certainly can understand not being able to while teaching , ha ha! I'm not making as much, thank goodness, but still pumping every 4 hours, though lately I've been going 4.5 to 5 hours to see how it works and so far so good. My goal right now is to make it to 6 months, which is 2 months away and then I might have enough stored to keep giving breastmilk for a few months...we'll see I guess. Thats crazy that your milk decided to come on back huh!? Is Jack latching at all or do you have to pump it all out? I haven't even bothered to try to get October to latch for the last month or so because it just wasnt working which I guess is fine at this point since it makes it pretty easy for people babysitting to feed her. Good to hear from ya and have a fabulous weekend!!!

Aw thanks :) I'm looking forward to seeing updated pics of Jack! Lucky bum on vacay, sounds like fuN! Pumping at work has actually been pretty good, I've been able to pump every four hours which works out perfectly. I'm still on antibiotics for mastitis but its waaaaaaaaaaay better My supply is way down but thats actually okay for right now, I'm still pumping a little more than she eats and I think if I have to I know a few tricks to get it back up. I'm so stoked on the exclusively pumping page, gosh at this point I feel like I have all kinds of advice for people starting out with pumping, hee hee. Well have tons of fun on vacation!!!! take care!

Thank you for responding, i guess i never knew how hard and trying this would truly be, i just want the best for me baby and I am soo scared if i dont get my emotions in check that we both will suffer i am sad that she is colicky and I can't help her and I resent all my friends who have all sorts of help I have NOONE my fiance works from 5- 9 pm every day for us so I am sooo lonely too. I hope this medication works I don't want to deprive this angel of anything, just have too much time alone to keep the negative thoughts going - my own worst enemy. thanks for listening.

Margo thanks so much for responding to my questions...I am starting to wonder if I have thrush cause they burn after he is done eating for quite awhile but he doesnt have the white dots in his mouth just a few white blister looking things on his lip ... I love bf and I dont want to quit and I wont give up just because of a little pain... no pain no gain right...lol I said the other day it hurts so good! lol Also thanks for the comments on my pics and son he is our little miracle baby and we are so proud! God is good!

I'm feeling much better today, I started antibiotics yesterday and have been resting...thats definately some serious pain thats for sure! I'm a little nervous about getting it again since I'm going back to work next week and I know I'll only be able to pump once, maybe twice if I'm lucky during a 10 hour period...yikes! Its definately affected my supply but I guess thats alright since I was making waaaaaaaay too much anyway. Thanks for the comment :) Hopefully we'll see eachother soon in the Exclusive Pumper section, hee hee

Bummer, doesnt look like they added the Pumping page...Its weird too, I went back through my comments and the one where admin said they'd add one is gone...I wonder if I just halucinated it during one of my middle of the night pumpings...hee hee. They really should add it though, so many people have suggested it!

Holy Cow! I cant believe it costs that much to rent a pump! I guess its worth it for a those really nice 1500 dollar ones though huh!? Yeah, October being 6 weeks early I feel the same way about trying to get her all of the good stuff for a year...I tried to get her to latch again last night and it was ridiculous! She just hates my boobs thats all there is to it! hee hee Yeah bummer that weight loss while bfing is a myth because I'm definately not losing any! I guess I do allow myself to eat a little extra because I'm producing though...
