Message to all: This message is not intended for any one person, but a general statement to all members of the site. After hearing what you all think in regards to posting photos on the forums, we have modified the rules and ask that everyone familiarize yourself so that the site continues to remain friendly for everyone, including new members. In an effort to be respectful of all members of the site, we ask that members do not post more than ONE photo or video per person in the weekly, monthly and information forums. Your ONE picture should be small in size as well. Any large photos will be deleted. You are welcome to post as many pictures as you would like in the photo books, which were created for the purpose of sharing and viewing photos. You may also post as many blogs as you would like with photos in them. We understand that many members enjoy posting and viewing pictures on the forums, but this is not where they belong. We must keep the pictures on the boards to a minimum so that the written comments can continued to be written and read. Otherwise, the numerous amounts of large pictures squash the messages and they become missed. We ask that this modification be respected, therefore any member that continues to post numerous pictures a day will be deleted from the site. Thank you all for helping us keep the site friendly and welcoming for all members.

Message to all: In the last 2 years you all posted 1.1 million photos to the site, and that needs a little maintenance. We are currently renaming all photos from the personal photobooks in order to speed up the site. Some, or all your photos may not show while we are working on the photobooks. You don't have to do anything. We hope to have all photos sorted in about 24 hours from now. You can upload new photos to your photobook while the computer is working on your other photos. Thanks for reading.

Yep those glutes do tighten a LOT. Both from sleeping on your side and using them to roll over. (when you open your leg against the resistance of the bed) or lying on your back with your leg(s) open. The muscle that can get really sore is called Piriformis and it sits right on your sciatic nerve. I find the Cal/Mag loosens my butt muscles for me....I also stretch them. For now, before the belly gets too big this is how I stretch. Lie on back, cross one ankle over your other knee and let that bottom leg open a bit.....so you can pull the bottom leg UP. (hopefully past belly) You can google "piriformis stretch". Hope this helps

Hi, I saw your post to Mom2betime2, Are you taking a Cal/Mag supplement? I know it's in the prenatal, but not nearly enough. I am taking 1200-1500mg/day of elemental Calcium with Magnesium and if I don't take it like clockwork the cramps, restless legs and sore feet take over my body. These supplements work like a miracle for me.....and are RECOMMENDED during pregnancy!! (be sure to take at least part of the dose before bed....with milk is even better!!

Hi....oh how dissappointing...Sorry you didnt find out the gender....I found out 19 weeks...its a girl....
With boys you, or they can usually tell earlier...some as early as 14/15 weeks....with gals....a bit later....
But usually they know.....or at least they try to find out...but...maybe in the report sent to your doc. it will say....usually for boys they see there are two testicles, and since it was a detailed u/s...( where they look for abnormalities) the chances are, maybe.....it will state the sex...
fingers crossed.....

Hi there. Lucky for me, my MIL just got me this body pillow with this really soft cover. I love it! Sleeping has been more comfy! And now it seems Im only getting up 1 or 2 times for the bathroom. I sleep with one leg over it and it really helps! I think DH is getting jealous, LOL. Hope you get some rest soon, take care!!

jterrill08 - Friday, 24 October
Hey! I know exactly how you feel about sleeping. I too am having a hard time. I get up about 6 times during the night to use the restroom and I am tossing and turning the whole time inbetween. I just can't get comfortable. However, I've heard thoses mommy pillows (the ones that wrap around you in like a horse shoe fashion) are great. One of my girlfriend who couldn't sleep got one and now that she's not pregnant any more, her husband wants it! If I can ever get a break to go to babies'r'us, I'm going to pick one up too. She really swears by it! Good luck!

hey i just read you comment about gestational intestinal diabetes. norma l blood sugars should run between 90 or 95 and 110. not to sure if it should be different when you pregnant but i would think not, mention it to your doctor and i'm sure they will do some test on you, but they normally don't test for it until about 24 weeks i think. hope this helps alittle

Jacq98 - Tuesday, 14 October
my symptoms with my first was thirst (24 cups a day and would continue). second pregnancy- not the thirst but tired. If i ate food that was sugary or white bread i would be tired for quite a few days- and i would have a feeling similar to low blood sugar (which i have). but differnt. instead of clamy i would feel flushed- see spots, lightheaded and wouldnt want to eat (bc i just had) and the sugar was rising. its just not easy- a lot of thought and stress. last time i couldnt eat bc i was trying to control it by diet. but this time i would like to eat a regular meal so i dont feel so deprived. it was a little over the top last time- id eat a piece of ham with half a granola bar for breakfast. and i eat healthy but if im hungry i do let myself eat til i feel satisfied but- norm on healthy stuff- but i couldnt even do that last pregnancy- then after i kept the weight on cause ate so much after LOL... oooooo and the test they give you SUCKS- i got so sick - thought i was gonna throw up....sorry - negative i know- im just bummed i know i have it again-

I've been a litte weepy with this one, but not so much as the last. I think it might be a boy this time!

RachB - Wednesday, 1 October
Hi there! I read your comment from a few weeks ago in the wieght forum. Rest assured, I have gained 15 pounds and I am only 11 weeks. Every women is different. I gained 10 pounds in 2 weeks! the other 5 came on alot slower. it's most likely water, but it is really stressful when nothing suddenly fits and your not showing yet, just alot larger looking! Good news though, it seems alot of women who gain alot early on, dont gain as much later in the pregnancy. My best friend piled on over 20 pounds by the 4th month..but went up very slowly after that. So maybe your an early gainer like some of us seem to be! hope everything is going well for you!!

aprilraine - Monday, 22 September
