Message to all: This message is not intended for any one person, but a general statement to all members of the site. After hearing what you all think in regards to posting photos on the forums, we have modified the rules and ask that everyone familiarize yourself so that the site continues to remain friendly for everyone, including new members. In an effort to be respectful of all members of the site, we ask that members do not post more than ONE photo or video per person in the weekly, monthly and information forums. Your ONE picture should be small in size as well. Any large photos will be deleted. You are welcome to post as many pictures as you would like in the photo books, which were created for the purpose of sharing and viewing photos. You may also post as many blogs as you would like with photos in them. We understand that many members enjoy posting and viewing pictures on the forums, but this is not where they belong. We must keep the pictures on the boards to a minimum so that the written comments can continued to be written and read. Otherwise, the numerous amounts of large pictures squash the messages and they become missed. We ask that this modification be respected, therefore any member that continues to post numerous pictures a day will be deleted from the site. Thank you all for helping us keep the site friendly and welcoming for all members.

Message to all: In the last 2 years you all posted 1.1 million photos to the site, and that needs a little maintenance. We are currently renaming all photos from the personal photobooks in order to speed up the site. Some, or all your photos may not show while we are working on the photobooks. You don't have to do anything. We hope to have all photos sorted in about 24 hours from now. You can upload new photos to your photobook while the computer is working on your other photos. Thanks for reading.

I've found the best sling is from freedom slings. It's fab and I can carry baby for hours without any discomfort to my back or shoulders, good thing is it can be used in a variety of ways right through until there about three, (not that I'm planning on that mind..lol) Heidi loves being in her sling and it let's me get so many jobs done at the same time. I bought it off the web at www.freedomslings.com. Hope you find a carrier solution soon x

I saw your post and wanted to share. My little one does the same when she can't burp. It is heartbreaking but sometimes heat works. I put a warm "magic bag" on her belly and then swaddle her. It's not instant but it does help her (and me).

Hi there, Read your message about the carrier. My little peanut will be 3 months on the 5th of Nov and weighs 13.5lbs so I KNOW how heavy it can get on the arm. We initially tried the Heart 2 Heart sling but that ended up being too awkward for us. Then we bought the CuddlyWrap which was fantastic! It is like the Moby. We used it for a few weeks but then I found that it was too cuddly, she was getting too big and liked facing forward more than any position. SO, after all that I bought the Baby Trekker. It is this heavy duty carrier that has 5 positions and is quite padded and comfy for your back. Up to 40lbs! I tried it around the house but she was too fussy to give it a real go. I have to say it is definetly built to be comfy, very sturdy.

hey there, i just read your message about the burping, i was watching tv and what they said to try was sit your baby on your lap- sitting up- and kinda rotate herf rom waste up 3-5 times each way, lift the baby up and then try burping, i m trying to describe what i mean but the best thing i can thing of is kinda like a hula hoop rotation. I love this and sometimes my daughter burps before i even finish! \good luck=)

thanks for the comment , I am going to ask my doctor about it ! it seems quite a few ladies have this going on so it must be something hormonal ..

Hi! My daughter was 8 weeks old on Tuesday(where is the time going?) and I finally got around to reading what this website has to say about baby development for the 2 month milestones. It says that spitting up is normal. I'm not sure of the age of your little one but I thought I'd bring it to your attention to put your mind at ease.

canadianmommy - Tuesday, 7 October
Hope things are going better for you now. How is your little one? I can't remember what formula I used with my boys, it's been six years. I think it was similac but they were also four months old when I made the switch. I am nursing exclusively again but will have to introduce formula before I go back to work in March. If you get an answer to your question about the best formula, please let me know.

Message to all This may be interesting to some of you. Seema`s email is seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com

Hi there,

I work for a television production company based in the UK . We are currently making a documentary for ITV1 exploring the issues surrounding pregnancy and eating disorders. The film will be a thoughtful and insightful look into this extremely sensitive subject.

We’re in the research stage of our production and very keen to chat to women who are, or have been, pregnant whilst having an eating disorder.

If you’re interested in having a chat or finding out more about our documentary, it would be really great to hear from you. All communication would be in complete confidence.

You can contact me on: seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com

Sx

Hi, saw your post. Are you sure it's vanished? I know that sounds like a weird question but I go through phases where I'm leaking and have lots then my breasts are soft and don't seem to have anything. My lactation consutant says to count wet diapers. As long as your child is producing them, then you're doing your part. The other big factor is to drink lots of water. You need plenty of fluid to make plenty of fluid. Hope things work out for you.

hey i saw your post in 0 months about your little one spitting up. have you talked to your pediatrician about it yet? both of my little brothers did the same thing... they both have pyloric stynosis. i asked my doctor about it last week because it runs in families. he said it is most common with 1st born boys and shows up between 3 - 6 wks. my little brother would eat and throw up after he ate and then cry because he was so hungry and if he was fed again it would just happen again. i would just really ask your sons doctor to be sure... maybe his formula doesnt agree with him also. the doctor also said switching to a soy formula may help a baby who spits up alot. i was asking so many questions because i was scared my little girl could get this. hope that was helpful. good luck with your new baby. he is adorable =).

what a cutie. he is adorable.

danicasmommy - Tuesday, 16 September
About two to three days. but I was cleaning her little butt with a washcloth soap and water every diaper change on top of the A+D. The doctor told me that there is some wipes that have alcohol and don't allow them to heal.

danicasmommy - Sunday, 14 September
Have you try A+D zinc oxide cream for diaper rash it seen to work pretty good for my daugther .She had a bad diaper rash

i was 1.5 cm for weeks with my oldest son. It just may be to early. I do know a lady that owns an herb store. She told me early in my pregnancy not to let anyone message my ankles. You have an acupunter(spelled wrong) point at your ankles that can put you into labor. Have someone message your ankles everyday! That may help. I'm going to wait until I'm 40 weeks before I start trying any of these things. They will work. I think its just a matter of timing as well.

augustbump - Friday, 1 August
I 2nd that...I HATE SUMMER!!! We don't have any humidity but its 96-100 here and just plain old hot! I hope that cold feeling you are talking about is for everyone...I would pay to feel cold lol. I am in a constant state of sweat, its so gross.

sunnshine - Thursday, 31 July
They are inducing me on the 7th at 39 weeks because of my gestational diabetes. They said since I'm insulin dependent, they don't want to let me go over my due date because there is a higher risk for complications, the placenta may stop working, etc. So, they said they would rather take him a little early and have a healthy baby than risk letting me go to 40 and have problems. When they checked me last week I was about 1cm too...don't know what I am now. She will check again on Tuesday before the induction on Thursday.

kaycie1 - Wednesday, 30 July
i lost my plug ( the only time i lost my plug) with my first like 30 days exactly before my due date. i guess if u lose it early it can kind of grow back.

joyfulnoise - Wednesday, 30 July
I'm totally not ready either. My husband is working out of town right now. He can get here in 6 hours if I need him, but last night he said "I just need 5 more days, lay down and try to wait 5 more days." Ummmmm......ok
I also had a obgyn check on Monday and I am dilated 1cm. But no kidding about the tonsils lol , like my cervix is way the hell in there or what!?
