MikeysGirls - Tuesday, 9 December Thanks for those tips on introducing the bottle! LOL I like the half-asleep trick.. it sounds effective! Will find out on Thursday if the procedure is necessary..even if I won't be having it though, it's still smart to be informed about it.. and prepared! Thank you for all of your help! Dad would love to try feeding her.. he's always "well if I had milky breasts I could help more......."
Laura Ward - Sunday, 7 December Message to all: This message is not intended for any one person, but a general statement to all members of the site. After hearing what you all think in regards to posting photos on the forums, we have modified the rules and ask that everyone familiarize yourself so that the site continues to remain friendly for everyone, including new members. In an effort to be respectful of all members of the site, we ask that members do not post more than ONE photo or video per person in the weekly, monthly and information forums. Your ONE picture should be small in size as well. Any large photos will be deleted. You are welcome to post as many pictures as you would like in the photo books, which were created for the purpose of sharing and viewing photos. You may also post as many blogs as you would like with photos in them. We understand that many members enjoy posting and viewing pictures on the forums, but this is not where they belong. We must keep the pictures on the boards to a minimum so that the written comments can continued to be written and read. Otherwise, the numerous amounts of large pictures squash the messages and they become missed. We ask that this modification be respected, therefore any member that continues to post numerous pictures a day will be deleted from the site. Thank you all for helping us keep the site friendly and welcoming for all members.
MikeysGirls - Saturday, 6 December Aw! LOL I know... I can't help myself with this little girl!! MADLY, DEEPLY in love.. and especially with those tender lovin' hands!! Thanks for the sweet comment! Also thanks for the Adiri reccomendation, lol, it so happens we have a bottle, I just haven't used it so I wasn't sure if it would work.. I'll give it a trial run with her! I hope she doesn't get confused I hope she drinks from it, was it tough for your lil one the first time you introduced the bottle? He wasn't like "What's this mama? I know it's not your nipple..." lol

Dirk - Friday, 5 December Message to all: In the last 2 years you all posted 1.1 million photos to the site, and that needs a little maintenance. We are currently renaming all photos from the personal photobooks in order to speed up the site. Some, or all your photos may not show while we are working on the photobooks. You don't have to do anything. We hope to have all photos sorted in about 24 hours from now. You can upload new photos to your photobook while the computer is working on your other photos. Thanks for reading.
StellaBellasMommy - Thursday, 4 December Thanks! I didn't think it could possibly be teeth already I have checked and she didn't have any bumps in there. Thanks again!!!
lilysmumma - Thursday, 4 December Thanks i did try this during a day sleep, but my lil wriggler scoots up to the other end and was out and upside down before the end of her sleep!! i think i'll just tough it out without sleep for a few weeks and hope she settles down! but thanks so much for the info!!
MikeysGirls - Tuesday, 2 December LOL Yeah when she can't go I'm like "alright, time to sit you on the toiilet!" (her swing toilet of course...) lol, although someone just told me the other day how when some mamas know their baby is about to poop, they hold them over the real potty and they poop, lmao, they are kinda potty trained, I bet I could do that here.. I just wont though, i don't know, maybe some day if i'm bored, it's not like she's going to ba able to get up and walk to the toilet any faster, but maybe it helps them to become potty trained sooner?? hmmmm
MikeysGirls - Tuesday, 2 December OMG, LOL That is SO funny because samehere.. EVERY morning Annabella wakes up squirming having to poo, and shortly after I put her in her swing, she goes! (We didn't already have this conversation btw did we?? Having dejavu.. maybe it was with someone else- MOMMY BRAIN ugh, lol)Poor girl though.. like right now she was squirming like she had to go.. I was laying down with her feeding her and she couldn't hold still, so I had to get up to put her in her swing and now I'm lullying her to sleep.. it's workin', something about this swing...
mamaupchurch - Monday, 1 December I know it may be unethical, but I use a bobby pin to get my daughers bugers. I have to hold her head when I do it, to keep her from pushing it in further then it needs to go, but it works and she doesn't cry when i am done.

Heather-08-01 - Tuesday, 25 November Hi, thanks for the suggestion =) Actually, we have the angelcare, I would never sleep without it. In the afternooon he sleeps in the pack-n-play in the livingroom and the AC monitor is in his cradle in our room. I still wake up and check him during the night too though - just not every 5 min the way I do when he sleeps in the living room It's nice to know I'm not alone in the worry though. I'm not wishing his young months away, but I can't wait until we hit about 6 months and I can stop stressing so hard about SIDS.... and probably start worrying about something else! *sigh* I feel all Holly Hunter in Raising Arizona "I just love him so much!"
Bubblebath - Monday, 24 November Just read your birth story and I had a c-section too....I fully agree, it was baby heaven when the epi kicked in lol!!!
munchkinsmommie - Monday, 24 November I will check it out. They have been doing better not 100% normal yet but getting there. Thanks again.
neozmommy - Sunday, 23 November Hi puppies! tnx for adding me as a friend :) hey listen i wuz just reading a comment on ur page abt flathead syndrome... u know wat the locals do here is... they make a little round pillow & fill it with mustard seeds... for the baby to sleep on- it feels like one of those beanie babies or smtng- with tiny beans in it... & shapes into the contour of the babyz head- so their little heads stay round even if they'r sleeping on their backs! the pillows r not very big... they just enuf to cushion the back of the babyz head...
dawniek - Thursday, 20 November Hi there! You start from 3 months plus. I would like to do the signing as well. I'm really excited about teaching my little dude to read. Keep intouch and let me know how you get on. I've got all the books and dvds and word cards by doc robert c. titzer,ph.d.
dawniek - Wednesday, 19 November Hi there! Just replying to your comments. The doc only made the dvds for when mums need to do cleaning or have got to go to work and leave to baby with someone eles. He's got kids and the program worked really well for them. You will be amazed by the dvds. They are all about words and meanings. They are really good. Each dvd id about 30 mins. xxx
