aliciamanuel - Sunday, 10 August hiya thanx for the comment, i do totally notice a difference in energy, the only thing i want to eat at the mo is crisps but its not really a proper meal, my food intake has been halved compared to how i was eating at the beginning of the pregnancy. i try not to worry too much, i hope that your pregnancy is going well apart from the eating lol x
motherofsoontobe4 - Saturday, 9 August I found this on a website. Hope its helpful....
You can start using correct postures while sleeping, walking and sitting in order to avoid problems later as the pregnancy advances. Even though your stomach is quite small in size now and there is no difficulty while lying on your back you can start practicing sleeping on your side as this is the best position during pregnancy. Especially sleeping on the left side is the most comfortable and healthy position for you as well as your baby. Sleeping on the back causes the uterus to put pressure on the aorta and inferior vena cava which supplies blood to the baby and your lower body. Later as the pregnancy advances you can have difficulty in breathing if you continue sleeping on your back. Sleeping on the stomach is an absolute no as it can put extra pressure on the uterus as well as the entire abdomen. Extra pillows can be propped up to give support to your legs and entire body and ensure a comfortable sleep. This is the week when the baby can listen to sounds so you can start listening to soft music or try conversing with the baby which might seem odd but is a great way of starting the bonding process.
motherofsoontobe4 - Saturday, 9 August Funny you ask about the sleeping on your back stuff.. I was wondering about that myself? Im actually comfy on my back. I havent read anything about why we shouldn't nor at what stage in our pregnancy to stop, but I'd like to know the answer to that ? myself. The pillow is heaven sent ill tell you. My hunny takes it from me now and gives me the quilt.. By the way they say its better to sleep on your left, because of the blood flow..Nice hearing from you. Keep in touch.
motherofsoontobe4 - Thursday, 7 August No luck yet, thought Ive done research on the net and I can rent one.. Might just do that. Got my pillow too.. I couln't take it anymore. I slept real good last night.. My husband wants on, told him I'll buy him 2 if he would have a baby
