Yes I'm ready. I've been buying things here & there. This past weekend my bf, his mom & sis came into town and his mom took us shopping for the baby so I have ALOT more things than I had before. I feel like a huge weight has been lifted off of my shoulder bc ya know I was freaking out bc I didnt feel prepared for him but now I do. I'm soooooo ready to have him already! How's your pregnancy going?

I only get along with the younger two, not the rest of the children (there's six of us). I'm not sure if they'll be there for the actual birth but afterwards they might come to the hospital. It all depends on what my mom wants & when & what time I go into labor.

I dont know about you but I only want two children. So if you have a girl then you'll have the all american family. If you have a girl I'm going to be so jealous! Lol We wanted a girl so bad. Girls clothes are much cuter & they have a better selection than boys. How do you think your son is going to handle the new baby? My sister is 6 yrs old & she's really attatch to me. We're really close bc I've been babysitting her since she was a newborn & still do. So my mom thinks she's going to get a little jealous when the baby comes bc I wont be able to spend alot of time w/her...so on Saturday we're going to this sibiling class. It's really meant for couples who are having a new baby & they want their child to learn how to accept the new baby but my sis is kinda like my baby so yeah. My brother is going to attend the class too bc he's really attatch to me too. Hopefully it'll help.

Well thank God that lady isnt my doctor. She's the PA at my doctor's office. I'm only available to go the doctor in the morning like no later than 8am & my OB doc doesnt come in until after 8am therefore I have to see the PA. I havent seen my OB in months but I final got an appt for Nov. 13 to see her, so hopefully I'll be able to keep that appt. My baby is fine, I'm ready for him to come out. He's so beautiful, my mom said that it looks like he has my bf nose. I slept with his u/s picture lastnight! Do you want a boy or a girl? You must be really excited...I remember the night before I found out what I was having I was so excited I couldnt sleep. Lol keep me posted! :biggrin

I never knew that naming your child would be so hard. My bf & I had our hearts set on naming our son Brody but we've recently found out something (something I rather not talk about..its a little too personal) that's made us change our mind! There's NOOOOO way we're going to name him Brody, so now we dont know what to name him! I like Ethan Alexander but I dont love it. I love the name Noah but my bf doesnt. We dont want to name him anything common or weird. Any suggestions? I had a doc appt today (u/s) & he's a little bit on the big side & I'm NOT dilated. Hopefully I'll start dilating soon considering I have 3wks left. So how have you been? Hope all is well with you! Do you have any special plans for Halloween? TTYL

I just got home from the doctor & sadly I'm not dilated! He weighs 7lbs 1oz (he's kinda on the heavy side..lol idk where he got it from). Everything is fine. Goodluck w/ gaining weight..let's hope I lose all the extra pounds I've gained!

Aww I wanted a girl too. I will keep my fingers crossed. In a way you're lucky that you havent gained any weight or anything, I mean as long as the baby is healthy. Did the doctor say if you were measuring okay? So far I've gained 60LBS. I have an doc appt tomorrow (u/s..I'm excited!). Lately I've been really cranky & moody. I dont eat as much as I use to & I barely get any sleep. But the good thing is that I'm 37 weeks today!!! So I'm almost done! Well good luck w/everything, I'm sure you'll gain weight soon!

I would trade pregnancies with you that way I could work again. I miss working! I'm not use to being limited on what I can do. When I was on bedrest I was sooooo bored! Are you in your second trimester? I'm sure time will go by fast. Right now time isnt going by fast enough. I'm in alot of pain & I just want this to be over with! (but not too soon..I want him to be healthy). Well have a great week & have fun at work. :-)

I am still trying to understand the whole carrying high,low back, etc... I will just assume the baby is more growing towards the back? But small build? forget about it. I was overweight when I conceived but the morning sickness has caused me to lose more than 17 lbs. I haven't gained any yet but I do feel my stomach growing. I guess I am losing and baby is gaining so that equals no weight gain. Is this your first pregnancy?

I've been fine, just trying to take it easy & enjoy these last 6 weeks. I still have alot of stuff I need to buy but God will make a way for me to get it soon. I went to the doc the other day & she said that he's in the downward position, he's preparing for the big day! W/your 1st child when did they check you to see if you were dilated? My bf is such an a$$hole. He said that if I dont come to his college graduation & the parties then he's not coming for the birth of my child. What can I do at a college party?! He's so dumb. Thats good that your aunt is going to be there for the birth. I'm trying to figure out if my best friend can come to the birth of my son but he might be away at bootcamp around the time I'm due. I've had weird and normal cravings. A couple of times I wanted dishsoap (the orange scent & the apple scent) & then I wanted a tree branch (from an oak tree). Lol weird cravings like that are called Pica, I heard women who are anemic having weird cravings. I'm anemic but idk if thats true. I crave peaches all the time. I could eat them all day!

I'm always hungry too. Its like I could eat forever! He's never been that active before when I was trying to sleep. Lately we've both been going to bed at a decent hour (11pm compared to 3am). So hopefully he'll sleep through the night once he's born. Have you had any weird cravings?

Yeah, I wouldnt want anyone elses medical problems either. I just have a history of terrible migraines, asthma (exercise induce), & over active bladder..other than I'm really healthy. My next u/s is at 36wks! I cant wait, that u/s determines alot. How was your weekend?
