We are doing great.

Claire is healthy and trying to kick her way out through my ribs constantly, but I am getting used to it, and I enjoy knowing that she is active.

I just know everything will go well for you, and I wish you guys all the happiness you deserve!

Stay healthy and I can't wait to see pics of your beautiful baby!

bobbieh - Friday, 14 Mar
not sure if those are labor symptoms. U might be getting sick. As for travling for 3hrs to see your friend's baby...that's completely up to u. I am due on the 24th and I won't go to a bday party that is 45mins away this weekend. I just prefer to stay close to home because you never know. But that's me...and it's totally your call. Good luck on your decision and get well.

NikyGyrl - Thursday, 13 Mar
Hey! Sorry didn't mean to scare you :)
It also says that it has to be a lot of hiccups, like over 4 times a day for an hour each time. And, sometimes frantic. I just wonder cuz sometimes my lil' guy seems frantic in there when he's hiccuping. But, ya, ask the doc and let me know what you find out! Thanks!!!

Valeriescheller - Tuesday, 11 Mar
Oh, I'm sure he's so precious! It's a horrible feeling not being about to hold your lil one... I went through almost losing my first born. PRAYERS kept her alive!
Keeping her and their little Angel baby in our prayers!!!

Valeriescheller - Tuesday, 11 Mar
Please keep me posted!
Do you know if he is in a breathing maching and what not? I know sometimes baby can be born small and be ok at this point!

prose - Tuesday, 11 Mar
hello, all my prayers go out to your friend and her lil' angel. My son was born at 27 weeks he was 2lbs 14 oz, and that was 15 years ago, technology now is soo well advanced, her baby will be fine. Right now when looking at him you wouldn't even know her was a premie.

LindseyMT - Tuesday, 11 Mar
She and the baby are both doing well, right?

LeaLea2 - Tuesday, 11 Mar
Ahh.. bless you for thinking of your friend at this time. My friend was due around the same time as me but had her beautiful daughter at 29 weeks. She is perfectly fine and weighed just 2IB. She breaths by herself and is getting stronger by the day. The hardest part id say would be the fact the you have carried this child for so long, you give birth and then you leave your bab at the hospital and have to come back each day to visit and feed etc. Im sure everything will be ok. But she is in my prayers. How are you feeling about your pregnancy?? you feeling tired?

Valeriescheller - Tuesday, 11 Mar
Hello! I just wanted to tell you your Friend and baby are in my prayers! I know how scary this must be!!!

I have one medium sized hemorrhoid that has haunted me since I had my first child 17 years ago..it only comes out when I'm pregnant, but boy does it hurt..I really haven't tried anything for it...I heard the pads or preperation H works really well...I know its going to get bad when I have to start pushing!

candi1982 - Thursday, 28 Feb
I've been using tucks medicated pads. Instead of using TP i wipe with those (when i remember). My dr also advised like while sitting at home put them in ur panties. Even though its quite uncomfortable sitting there with something wet in/on ur hiney it has seemed to help mine a LOT!!

LLaura - Thursday, 28 Feb
I am having the same problem as you with hemroids..I was freaked out when I first got them 2 weeks ago and have been having episodes on and off since. I mentioned them to my doctor and was advised to drink lots of fluids. I have been but got into such discomfort again today I got into the bath and lay there on my side for 20 minutes and they went down. I am going to speak to my doctor again about them as they are sooo uncomfortable and I am sick of the straining to go to the bathroom with no result (sorry!)..it is not the most sexy subject and certainly one of the most unpleasant sides of pregnancy I have experienced..hope you find some relief - I will let you know after I have spoken to my doctor again..L

Well I am sure you will do fine with having 2 little ones, you will find a way of making it work. That is sad that your husband is being deployed, hopefully time will pass quickly for you since you will have your hands full? Do you have family or friends near to help you out?

choppork5426 - Tuesday, 26 Feb

Oh wow a c-section on Good Friday, that is pretty cool. Well you never know maybe your body will get things rolling before then, it sounds like it has already done some of the work! I was reading some of your posts, you are going to have 2 little babies now. I have to hand it to you, I kept wondering how I would handle having a small chld and being pregnant becasue sometimes it is so hard just to take care of myslef. That is really great, your 2 sons will grow up so close in age they will be best buds I am sure. Does the little one realize what is going on?

I got put on bedrest because I went in to preterm labor. I have only been on bedrest for 10 days and only have 8 left to go, I am very lucky compared to some other people who have had it much longer than I have. It was hard at first, but mentally I know that part of being a mom is making sacrifices for my child, so I keep my butt still!!! I was very much a busybody, I was working 40 hours a week and I was contantly on the run. My husband and I were barely home on the weekends, we would always have errnds to run and friends and family to visit. Now my life has done a 180. My mom and my sister come visit me almost everyday between the 2 of them which is nice while my husband is at work. And I have been able to download almost all my old CD's to my ipod, and get my pictures organized. I still find things I can do while sitting and resting. Well I wrote quite a bit there, can't you tell I have plenty of time on my hands? lol. So do you know when you are having your c-section?

choppork5426 - Monday, 25 Feb

That sounds like a good idea to leave the drawers open a crack so the clothes don't get musty. I put some in a small suitcase and I think I'm going to have to wash them all again because they smell now. As far as dryer sheets, I did use the Bounce fragrance free sheets, but then I was just reading from someone saying that you're not supposed to dry baby clothes with dryer sheets because it takes away some of the flame resistant stuff. But most of my baby clothes are from thrift stores, so who knows if there is any flame retardant material left on them. I'll stick with the Bounce fragrance free. I've used the Tide free, but I don't think things smell very clean. I think All free and clear is the best one. It's hard to find the He in stores for All though. I was thinking of ordering from Amazon, but the reviews said that it arrives with the bottles leaking, so I don't want a big mess. I do have some Dreft, but I bought it after I'd washed all of the clothes and then noticed it wasn't He, so I don't know if it will be too sudsy or not. I still have to wash the bassinet bedding too. I hope I get some kind of energy rush here at the last minute because I have completely slowed down. Take care in preparing baby's wardrobe and bedding!

collsbaby - Sunday, 24 Feb
If you have a scheduled c-section then you have some time to wash things. I've been panicked thinking that she could come any day, so I have been washing all the 0-3 month clothes as well as all the sheets and blankets and burpie cloths and stuff because I don't want ot be stuck with stuff not clean and ready to go if she comes early. But if you know when your baby is coming, then you could wait if you wanted to. It just depends on your energy. If you have it now, then I'd start doing some of it now. You might not feel like it in a few weeks. :-)

stephandisaac - Saturday, 23 Feb
I was told by the pediatrician not to use anything special unless he shows a reaction to your regular stuff, so I don't know if they sell special fabric sheets or not.

mommyinthesky - Saturday, 23 Feb
I have all of the baby's clothes washed, but they are not put away. Everything is in bins. I was on a roll and then just stopped. I need to organize the closet for the baby too.
