Khristine-Hammond - Monday, 12 May Oh, that is so cool. Happy mothers day. I don't think that I weigh that now. I feel like I have gained like 10 lbs. So how are you doing? I was having Braxton Hick contrations. That hurts. I am getting close only 36 days. I can't wait. I wish you the best. Well I hope that you are doing well. Have fun. Khristy
Khristine-Hammond - Thursday, 8 May Everything is going great. I am now 34 weeks. Only 40 days left to go. I am kinda scared though. It is my first so I am scared. I know that everything is going to be ok, but I still am scared. My sister had her baby May 6,2008. She had a girl that was 6lbs 4ozs and 19 1/2 inches long. She told me that she was beautiful. She lives all the way in Tennsessee so I was unable to see her. How is everything going for you? Last time I had went to the doctor's I had only gained 21 lbs. Thank god. I know that I can't wait until he comes out. His name is going to be Derrick Matthew Webber. We have finally found a name for him. I can't wait until he is here. I have been getting a lot more cramps lately. Well I hope all is well with you good luck. I hope to hear from you soon. Khristy
sweetvictoria - Tuesday, 8 April Hi, Why are you going to be induced early? because your baby will be too big?. My first baby was 8lb4oz, and 23in. I hope this one is not too big, !!!. Yes we have picked out his name it will Matthew James. My daughter calls him Matt, it is so cute!!. Hope all the best for you. Take care. Linda
sweetvictoria - Saturday, 5 April Hi Thanks for your comment!. Yes maybe I'm lucky or maybe I''m not. The sooner to have my baby the better for me and I hope for my baby too, my husband is so concern the baby could be low weight, but the Dr. said babies of diabetic mother usually are big. so i'm scared to have a big baby!!. But hope everything goes fine. How are you feeling? when is your due date? Do you have any names picked out for your baby boy yet? Hope all the best for both of you!. Linda
christy33 - Monday, 24 Mar The video was amazing! Thanks!
supermellobaby - Sunday, 16 Mar for now i am going to wait it out... i was in the hospital last night with really bad pains in my stomach and the babys heart rate kept falling... they said it could of been due to me being in pain... idk! anyways i am going to call my dr on monday to see what she says about it. They pretty much just sent me home on bed rest for now
amberizzle - Wednesday, 12 Mar Yeah, I've finally decided for sure that a c-section is for me. They told me 'well we can do a vaginal birth and just use forceps so you won't have to push.' Forceps are oftentimes worse for the baby than a c-section is, and what the Hell is the point of having a 'natural delivery' if they're just gonna pull her out manually anyway? Doctors and people can be so weird sometimes...
amberizzle - Wednesday, 12 Mar I agree. Everyone -- including my high risk doctor -- is trying to make me feel bad for wanting a c-section. They keep telling me it's harder than a vaginal birth and that 'well labor is only 12 hours, so if you have to feel crappy with your heart for 12 hours, it's worth it for your baby!' These people must have never had a heart condition! I'm so confused right now it's unreal. I just feel really bad for wanting a c-section. I'm not sure what to do now, but I still feel like deep down I want a surgical delivery.
mommy2boys - Sunday, 9 Mar C-sections are not only 15 minutes...they can take up to an hour, and the recovery time is MUCH longer than a vaginal birth. With a vaginal birth, yes you might tear, but most doctors will do an episiotomy if they think tearing is an issue. Either way a tear or an epis has very little recovery time. You are able to move around, carry your baby, drive a car, etc. a lot sooner than if you have major surgery. Also, breast feeding can be a bigger issue when trying to recover from a c-sections. Pain can keep your body from producing adequate supplies of milk.
You should check with your insurance company to make certain that you are covered for an elective c-section. The doctor won't do this for you, they will schedule it and perform it whether or not you are covered and you may end up with a larger bill than you thought!
Not trying to scare you out of a c-section, but just thought you should know. If you HAVE to have a c-section, then it's what you have to do and you will manage with the extra recovery and issues you may have other things. But, ultimately the pains you have with a vaginal birth are mostly just during the birth...they are gone almost as soon as that little one is out.
Good luck.
KariLynn - Saturday, 8 Mar Hello, my company is small. See there is just so much more to the story, ya know. I work at an rv dealership in the parts department. Probably about 25 employees all together. She has just done some things to me, or the way she presents things thats not right as a boss. My boyfriend and a few friends think she actually has it out for me. I just don't think its fair, if I cant do something, or if I am hurting from it, I just think that stopping would be the answer. Afterall I am pregnant, ya know what I mean. Its just so frustrating!! Thank you for responding though, I Really appreciate it!! Are things going good for you? I see we are due about the same time!
knockoutmom - Thursday, 6 Mar no i havent got adjusted yet. theres a lot of stuff going on right now so thats the last thing on my mind. plus it seems like she has eased up on my back the last few days! only now im getting bladder kicks. oh well!
Khristine-Hammond - Wednesday, 5 Mar I don't have a clue what to name him yet? I am so stuck on boys names that it isn't even funny. I don't know. Yeah I hear that boys are easier to raise to. I hope so
Khristine-Hammond - Monday, 3 Mar Wow I have finally found someone that is having a boy with me. Not many boys are being born this year. I have seen a lot of girls this way but no boys. Yeah, congratulations. I hope all goes well with that.
