I was surprised to see you had tried ivf with no luck :( Do you know when next month you will go for it? You fell pregnant without having the procedure done last time, is there a reason for trying it this time...is it selective on the sperm/egg so to have healthy ones only?

Just wanted to let everyone know...still no baby. I lost my plug with blood on Friday - have had horrible cramping, contractions, back pain and nausea (not to mention a horrible case of acid reflux) since. So I called the doc today bc I was in pain and wasn't sure what to do or think and he said that he wants me to be checked out immediately tomorrow morning - I could possibly be on my way. So we'll see. I'm not giving my hopes up just yet.

I went to the docs last week, hoping to hear that I had dilated at least another cm, only to hear that it was .5cm more...ugh! So I dont want to go in tomorrow and here that I haven't progressed at all and these pains are for NOTHING!!!

Hi ladies!! So I'm getting really excited!! This morning I lost part of my mucous plug, it was brown tinged and the size of a quarter. I've been crampy all day today with contractions on and off (feeling sort of menstrual like) and then just about an hour ago, I lost another huge glob (lol sorry tmi) and it was blood tinged. I'm getting anxious -- what do you think is happening?????

Went for my second blood test today. They should call in about an hour. I'm abig bag of nerves right now. About how long it takes to do a cycle, usually just under 2 months, at least mine were. They always put me on the pill for a cycle. Then you start the meds. Just reading up on my page, I started the pill in August, then the meds at the beginning of Sept, then the pregnancy test was Oct 9. But sometimes if your cycles are regular you won't get the pill, so that'll cut a month out.

Aww thanks. She is pretty sweet. I like the sleeping picture too. She looks so uncomfortable, but they slept like that for a good hour, even with me fumbling around looking for the camera. Even if I'm tired and grumpy, she always makes me laugh, she's such a clown! She just got a new plush elmo chair that she adores. But she likes to put her favourite toys in it and climb right on top and sit on the mountain. She thinks she's pretty funny because she laughs as soon as she gets up there. It's funny, I call her delicious too. Hubby will call on his way home from work and ask how babes is and I always say delicious hehe. You gotta put more pictures of Rylan up, I love looking at baby pictures, and your whole family is beautiful.

I know what you mean, and every single day I feel the same way. I think it's just being scared when I actually saw the positive. My brother and I are 10 years apart and have no releationship at all. Hubby and his brother are the same. So I guess not getting along with my brother makes me nervous about her not getting along with her brother/sister. Even though I know it's totally different because they'll be so close in age they'll probably be best friends. A family of 14 would be so awesome! I'm so glad I don't have to do the retrieval and drugs again. But I still have to do the daily monitoring. Which to me is the hardest part because it's so far away. But I did the whole cycle 3 times, so I'm sure it'll be a breeze and go fast. Have a great time on your trip, and come back pregnant!

I know. The funny thing is, I was a little sad when the hpt came back positive and now that it might be negative I'm sad about that. I was sad about it being positive because I kept looking at Olivia and thinking, "now you have to share me and I can't spend every second with you" blah blah. This whole this is really such a roller coaster.

Sorry that the IVF didn't work this time around, but maybe after some vacation time...you'll do it on your own. If not, November is the time to give thanks and maybe things will go well for you then. Have a great vacation (wish I was going on one) and be here when you get back. :)
