Your pictures are wonderful. Mara is really the most stunning baby, but who would expect anything less with a gorgeous mommy and daddy.

I have to pay $200 a week which is a good deal, but I talked her down from $300! She's alone with Rose most of the day, but there's another baby girl that comes for a few hours. I'm so fortunate because most of my friends have to have their babies with 10 or more other children! Rose is in a really clean and peaceful environment.

Thanks for having faith in my teaching...lol. Kids call me silly, fun, and nice, which is funny because I am firm and consistent. I don't put up with nonsense, but I always remember that they're kids. They don't know what's going on most of the time! My students tend to love school and learn lots, so I'm generally proud of myself. This year, I'm going to do what I can, but I'm afraid I won't be as good at my job as I've been in the past.

Hi. I teach 2nd grade in a really diverse school. Teaching has always been my passion, but going back to work is tough. I have a really tough group and I'm feeling barely above water in this first week back.

My nanny is a former parent of a student of mine. She's a wonderful lady and lives right across from the school so I can walk over to feed and visit the baby during my lunch break. I've known and trusted her for years and her kids were even in my wedding. I'm very, very lucky.

I'm coming to see those pics of yours.

Yeah, now that I think about it I think I am going to let her try eating everything (even the squash). LOL! Watch she'll LOVE it! I mixed bannanas in her oatmeal this morning and she went to town on it! I can't wait to find out her weight and height on Friday at her 5 month appt. At 3 months she was in the 90 something percentile for her weight and in the 80 something percentile for her height. Her last appt was at 3 months and she weighed in at 14.8 lbs and was 25 inches long! Well I'll keep ya posted. TTYS!

There is no certain order you have to go in with introducing the veggies and fruit- just pick something and give it for a few days to make sure there is no reaction- that is the main reason for spacing out the introduction of new foods; to just make sure your baby can handle them. That way if there is a reaction, you are able to pinpoint right away what food caused it.

i would say as long as she has something over her ears and is bundled up in the carseat you should be fine! i love it when my mom tries to say she will catch a cold if you take her outside and my doc says its impossible lol!

SHe's doing good! she still has a snotty nose and she is teething horridly but i think her throat infection is gone! Yeah they weighed her and she was 11.5 lbs. I was hoping she would be over 12 but I take her in for a weight check the first week of nov so fingers crossed she is over 12 then. How is your wee one doing??

If you live in a town that doesn't get much sun like Seattle in the winter then that is probably why you were told to give drops. It won't hurt your baby but can only help. No worries. The Enfimil drops don't taste bad at all and isn't that expensive. As for what your milk looks like. The watery milk is the foremilk. It gets thicker at the end which is why it is important to empty your breast before changing sides. Our milk separates and that is why cream rises. I don't shake it to the point of a milk shake but enough to mix it all together. I woudn't worry about your milk looking watery. If you did pump you would be getting both fore- and hindmilk. It wouldn't look as thin.

With the baby food thing, Kayla's doc said to introduce green veggies last because they are gassey. That doesn't leave many 1st food veggies to introduce now except for sweet potatoes, squash and carrots. I didn't buy squash because we won't ever have squash in our house (hubby and I don't like it). LOL! I have heard of moms making thier own baby food but I feel like it's easier for me just to buy it!

I cant believe I am still prego. I want this little girl to come out (ha ha). Yes 1 week till my due date. I have my next appt Weds but I'm going to call the dr when they open to see if I can come in today or tomorrow instead. I'm so anxious, its getting ridiculous (ha ha). I am still working and it is killing me because I cant concentrate. Oh well this is my last week of work but hopefully I will have her before the end of the week. Send me lots of labor dust. I need all the help I can get.
