Dominic and I are almost ready for #2. He says it has to be a boy though! LOL!! Yeah ok. We plan on trying in December or Jan. We'll see!

Hello mommies...

Its, me fromt he Hospital i thought it would check in on you all. I have an IV in right now so im going to try my best to type !! lol. BTW my page looks scary on a Old mac computer lol.

Anyways the news
* * * * * * * * * * * *

I had over three hours of strong consistant contractions and came to my registerd hospital. They took me right away ino the birthing room the nurses all said i was laboring. I had an ultrasound done and Maddy was back down in the birthing position. My cerviz was checked and if you read my last blog i was only a finger tip dialated and still had a hard long thick cervix. I guess the contractions i was having made my cervix soft, and i was still the same in dialation. I was put on meds right away to calm everything down. I asumed the meds i recieved the day before were going to stop all contractions. Wow do i ever remeber what labor was like.

I was put in a high risk room on the birthing floor and monitored for a long time (1 day). The medication helped to slow everything down again however im still loosing my plug each day in small amounts... Its up to maddison to say when she wants to come (thats right she is not born yet!)

I have been given my first does of beta (a steriod to help mature maddys lungs) Her lungs wont be fully developed for another week or so so this will help them to mature so they wont callaps when shes out.

Im currently being monitored on the post natal floor and waiting on my second steriod dose that will be given in about 5 more hours (they need to be 24 hours apart in order to be sucsessful. My doctor is hopeing i dont go into labor before 34 weeks. He came by today to see me and was going to sleep here last night but the hospital told him everything was under control.

I get to go home after the second dose because if she does choose to make her entrance she will have been prepared for it.. (not to mention i have begged and cried for them to let me go)

The first night a friend of mine and stevens came with steve to visit me very late.. i was happy to see framilar faces!! Both herd me screaming in the backgrund!! lol over the phone. My gf has two little kiddos i was so happy to see her support! Steve came back today and spent a couple hours chit chatting with me i havent been able to walk around because they believe it will bring on more contractions again, so ive been very bord.

I hope maddison keeps in a while longer.. and i will have more follow up apointments with my doctor. I have been poked so many times and i cant wait to be home with my son! I was asked to be on *bed rest* no cleaning, shopping, Bathing dominick, and everything.. clearly i told my doctor that was immposible i have an 18 month old to care for He looked at steve and told him maybe theres more he can do.... God will have to care for my maddy and i will try my hardest not to over due it.

Thanks so much moms for all your ongoing support.. you have no idea how much i miss some of you!! Others i knew would be going insane with worrie (yes you know who you are and i will return everyone of thoes worried messages -xox) I think about you and your kiddos and the little swimmers who are almost here, and i pray that we all make it to 40 weeks safe and sound!!

Last but not least TRICK OR TREAT Mommies take advantage of the day with your little ones if they are already here! Ive been crying about missing Dominicks but right now maddy needs her mommy! Hes out there now as we speak with his uncles!! No he didnt go as the monkey.. he was purchased a last mintue costume and went as a MOUSE from old navy!! i have felt so guilty about doing this to him... His costume is at home in Surrey. I gave my mom the camera to take lots of pictures..I hope he had fun

Thanks so much for the advice......you also mentioned that Mara is a warm baby....Jordan is too....I didn't experience that with my other two, he gets warm when I hold him, particularly in the head...he is dressed in summer clothes while we are dressed in jeans and jumpers lol....

Im also having greeny yellowy white inside my private area.. (sorry) Tiny tiny little red spots..

Well great things happen on May 15th!

I was going to wait for 6mth as well but it just felt like the right time a few weeks ago. I tried a little bit of peas and he took right to it. It's exciting now to think of all the stuff I can make him. I actually look at baby food jars to get mixing ideas! WE just started pears so after the 3-5 day wait, we are going to do pears/bananas/cereal then we are going to try peas/carrots and then maybe bananas/apples and cereal. This is so much fun! :-)

Hi ladies,

I wanted to say thanks to all of you who showed concern. I spent the night in the hospital yesterday and im now back at home. Why i was there is in my last blog.

I wanted to reply to each of you however there were so many messages. Thanks again so much to everyone who gave their input and advice.

Kayla wears 6 months but she also wears some 6-9 months too! She is very long so she just fits in 6 month sleepers with the feet. I showed my sister in law my web page and I showed her pics of Mara on yours. She said that Mara is such a BEAUTIFUL baby!!! She is! You and Brian make GORGEOUS babies! When's the next one gonna be here? LOL!!!
