Laura Ward - Sunday, 7 December Message to all: This message is not intended for any one person, but a general statement to all members of the site. After hearing what you all think in regards to posting photos on the forums, we have modified the rules and ask that everyone familiarize yourself so that the site continues to remain friendly for everyone, including new members. In an effort to be respectful of all members of the site, we ask that members do not post more than ONE photo or video per person in the weekly, monthly and information forums. Your ONE picture should be small in size as well. Any large photos will be deleted. You are welcome to post as many pictures as you would like in the photo books, which were created for the purpose of sharing and viewing photos. You may also post as many blogs as you would like with photos in them. We understand that many members enjoy posting and viewing pictures on the forums, but this is not where they belong. We must keep the pictures on the boards to a minimum so that the written comments can continued to be written and read. Otherwise, the numerous amounts of large pictures squash the messages and they become missed. We ask that this modification be respected, therefore any member that continues to post numerous pictures a day will be deleted from the site. Thank you all for helping us keep the site friendly and welcoming for all members.
Dirk - Friday, 5 December Message to all: In the last 2 years you all posted 1.1 million photos to the site, and that needs a little maintenance. We are currently renaming all photos from the personal photobooks in order to speed up the site. Some, or all your photos may not show while we are working on the photobooks. You don't have to do anything. We hope to have all photos sorted in about 24 hours from now. You can upload new photos to your photobook while the computer is working on your other photos. Thanks for reading.

Laura Ward - Monday, 6 October Message to all This may be interesting to some of you. Seema`s email is seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com
Hi there,
I work for a television production company based in the UK . We are currently making a documentary for ITV1 exploring the issues surrounding pregnancy and eating disorders. The film will be a thoughtful and insightful look into this extremely sensitive subject.
We’re in the research stage of our production and very keen to chat to women who are, or have been, pregnant whilst having an eating disorder.
If you’re interested in having a chat or finding out more about our documentary, it would be really great to hear from you. All communication would be in complete confidence.
You can contact me on: seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com

phonics - Saturday, 12 July Thanks! I was so happy, but terrified when I went into labor. I didn't want to have to induce because I wanted her to come when she was ready and the doctor wasn't too sure about the EXACT due date, but he was sure that i was full term. Yes I do need to put up pictures. We took some, but I have not transfered them to my computer yet.
phonics - Thursday, 10 July I actually went into labor naturally on Saturday evening. Read my birth story. It came out of nowhere. I was having a good ol time w ith my parents who were in town for another reason that day. Then out of nowhere a contraction. Within an hour of hte first contraction I was on the w ay to the hospital. They started ou t close. By the time I got to the hospital they were 2 minutes apart. Needless to say she arrived not too long afterwards. YES! The epi worked wonders when it worked. I felt most of it all in the end though.
aries101 - Wednesday, 9 July I was trying to read your birth story, and find it difficult because the background and typing are so similar. Is it possible for it to be changed??
Jenni927 - Tuesday, 8 July Congrats on the birth of your baby!
meetmrswise - Monday, 7 July he is so cute!!! congrats!!
phonics - Friday, 4 July Wow. I still have 5 days to go! :o(
deedlinz - Thursday, 3 July hey i just read your post! I am getting induced on saturday at 7 am also! My doctor told me to go have a big breakfast before i come in. I am getting induced with cervidil at first, then 6 hours later getting pitocin so that might be why... but Good luck! our babies are almost here!!
luffmelots - Thursday, 3 July Does milk help? That will sometimes tide me over.
luffmelots - Thursday, 3 July I would say eat lightly. you don't want to feel crappy from low blood sugar. Most hospitals tell you not to eat in case you need a c-section b/c the medicine that they give you (epidural) can lower your blood pressure which causes nausea. I hate throwing up so I have thought about this alot!
hotpotaaaaato - Thursday, 3 July EAT!!! Eat right before you leave. With my daughter I was induced due to preeclamsia, at the time we went into the hospital I had eaten a small sandwich 2 hours before. It took them 5 hours to start my pitocin during which I was starving!! Once they started my pitocin it didn't kick in right away for me... in fact it took 10 more hours for my body to go into labor. This whole time I was completely starved cause I wasn't in labor yet. Once I was in labor your digestive system slows dramatically so you don't feel hungry, but then after I ate like it was thanksgiving dinner. We had brought suckers in case my mouth got dry, and I spent the 15 hours devouring an entire bag of suckers just to get some calories in me. I reccomend eating. Your body will need it. Good Luck!!!
tara-k - Thursday, 3 July Good luck on your induction! I'm being induced next Thursday at 5am and my dr. told me I couldn't eat after midnight the night before.
BabyBennett - Thursday, 3 July I'd have pasta for dinner the night before. In high school all the sports teams would have pasta the night before a big competition as it was supposed to give you long term energy. :) I don't know if it really worked, but multiple teams did it, and it won't hurt any!
Phonics - Wednesday, 2 July lol that is how I feel. I was so ready and then he actually said ok let's do this. Man you should have seen my face. I w as like "really?" DH laughed and was like you ca ntell she is nervous just by listening to her. I am happy to finally meet my baby, but just nervous because even though women were made for this a lot can happen and there WILL be pain.
knockduppp - Wednesday, 2 July Consider yourself lucky, I am waiting for my milk to come in, I would trade places with you in a second! im 37.5 weeks and it hasn't come so I'm freaking out!
