Well that's good you can use the cdc, my hours never let me use the cdc so she always went with a friends wife when we were both working, we only did it when we were both working, if either one of us was off then she was home with us. Then when we found the 24 hr place we'd take her there a few hours before work if we needed some time off or something but that's when she was older and not sleeping the whole day like before! I don't even want to think about what I'll do with this little guy if he doesn't get in the cdc right away, but I've been on the list since december and he won't need it till hopefully september so I think that's plenty of time ya know....
But yes thank god for wic, they only took my income into play, not hubbies either so they had that i was making like 1300 a month to support 3 people in the household, because damn right formula is too expensive gosh darn it!!

I have a child support order on my 2 older boys dad. $219/month for each of them & I have not seen one dime...the boys are 9 and 4. Men are so unbelievable. We were at the mall one day & their dad and his new girlfriend were in Kay Jewelers looking at some big rocks. I was pissed I flipped out right then and there...told him he needed to get his priorities straight & that he better not buy that chick a damn ring before he pays what he owes in child support.. I hope you're lucky & get your c.s. ....so good luck with that miss lady

Oh ouch...I'm assuming that your getting wic and everything like that right.....the best place to go for wic is the commissary, I'm not even kidding because you get better brands there, instead of Great Value cheese from Walmart you can get Kraft, way better imo...and the whole months worth of formula saved me so many times it's not even funny! Does he go to the cdc or to an off base daycare? My daughter was with someone I worked with's wife for the longest time, and it wasn't till she was about 15 mths that we found this 24 hr day care right in front of our apartment complex which helped us out enormously!

well im at that stage and maia is a monkey, shes into everything especially my handbag and purse hehe. she follows me everywhere and at times its cute other times its really annoying haha im sick of her pulling my pant legs. oh well its only going to get worse haha. xx

Something else I had wanted to say about the child support thing, if he is mil and his name is on the birth certificate then he should be paying for his kid. And if the mil finds out he's not payin u he can get into a lot of trouble, and they would make sure you get back pay too probly. But if he's not in the mil or contests the child support thing then it'll still be hard to get something out of him. Either way you should be fighting for him to give you money, it's not for you it's for Kayson, and you may not need it now but if you put away what you don't use then you have money when you need it for something he needs...
My friend was dealing with that when we were in shreveport years ago so i know it's not easy, here if you need me....

So last night I put lily in her highchair to feed her some food and dinner and sat down with a jar of food, some cherrios and a sippy cup 1/2 full of juice. That girl at that whole jar, a handful of cherrios, and ALL her juice from a sippy cup :) She did so well, I couldn't believe it. Usually she just messes around w/ a sippy cup but last night she was drinkin away...and usually she doesn't eat very much out of a jar..but that girl ate and ate and ate.
I tried laying her on her belly too last night with a ball in front of her but she just kept crying and lying her head on the floor.. :(
Oh well...
Hopefully your power turns back on...we've only lost ours for a few minutes at a time but idk what I would do w/o it in the morning, o man... lol.

I'll try a ball tonight and see what she does....I've been wanting to get that sippee cup w/ the handles too...but I just have the regular ones. I think I might just have her start trying it out...Is he older than lily? I can't remember...Lily is 7 months...
She just loves to sit up and play and bounce in her jumparoo...she wants nothing to do with laying on her belly.

Girl it;s not just where you live...I know exactly what you mean about the whole dating thing. Men suck right now especially since I was seeing this guy in January who by late March turned out to be a crazy stalker & talkin bout takin my baby back to Kansas & give him a good life. He just started to leave me alone a couple weeks ago... so I just don't even wanna try to date..... there's some crazy ass people out there. My baby daddy & I get along just fine.. We just can't be together cause he can't keep his d*$k in his pants. Where can we find some good men????

I've tried to put stuff in front of lily and she just kinda wines, I need to work on it though. She's getting good at the eating off a spoon though so we're working on it. Is he drinking out of a sippee cup yet? I wish she was but she is still on the bottle. I might work w/ her hard this week on that I think..we'll see.
It's monday....yuck! today is dragging.

Thanks so much! I was so down and out because I'm like I should be back to normal by now!! I plan on taking pilates in a few days and hopefully that'll be light enough to where it won't cause any pain but strong enough to make a difference. oh hun ive had medicine for my migranes but it never worked for me, anything i did take made it worse. i hate migranes they are so annoying and you can be ill for days and days.

Right now Im actually enjoying bedrest. Totally stress free, very relaxing. I didnt realize how stressed I was going to work and dealing with day to day issues in addition to my personal problems. I have a feeling alot of that stress had alot to do with my preeclampsia. So Ill just enjoy it while it lasts. And yes I do have a laptop! Its my bestfriend! Im watching my salt intake and i drink icecold water all day. That really helps me. And that pic you put up of your baby is so adorable! I couldnt help but smile when I saw it.
