Anyone else cervical funneling? If so should I be worry?

I saw the replies so I just wanted to add if baby is only eating every 3 hrs you could also pump in the middle of that time and you should have enough before baby wants to eat again. I have heard of alot of women pumping in their car. Could that be an option for you maybe just during lunch break. A lot of breastfeeders will suggest not going any more then 6 hrs if you can but for the women that can't it seems that their baby will reverse cycle and eat alot through the night and not so much during the day. The only way this really works tho is if you don't mind baby sleeping with you because then you just have to pull out a boob and go back to sleep. I am real good at that going back to sleep thing lol. I am on my 4th child with breastfeeding so if you have any more questions feel free to ask! Also a babies gut has alot of pores for the first 6 months so if you can avoid formula your little one would probably have less gas and upset tummy aches. If you can't just introduce the formula slowly and don't ever add it to breast milk. keep the 2 seperated.

Your welcome! ( thanks for your comments too) Oh yeh - blue is for girls too! My 1st daughter I had an Anne Geddes border with babies and blue and white gingim and blue and white valance. ( totally thought girl or boy) It is fun however to pick something you can add pink blankets and stuff to. ( Which yours will go well with pink:-)

Hi, I read your question on the breastfeeding forum. I just wanted to say that you shouldn't regard yourself as a failure if you can't completely keep up with your baby's milk demands when you go back to work. 3 months of exclusive breastfeeding will be a brilliant start to your baby's life and then after that, any breastmilk you can give him/her will be great. Formula is far from the evil thing some people make it out to be! If you end up needing to give your baby formula for the time you're at work, then breastfeeding when you're together (say 2-3 times a day) that may well work out as an ideal solution. After 3 months your supply should be well established so you shouldn't have trouble maintaining enough for at least some feeds, if not all. I just wanted to let you know it's not necessarily an 'all or nothing' proposition. It's really important you don't give yourself a hard time over it! Take care :)

when i was in the hospital at the NICU the nurses had me pump after everytime i fed my son. i know it sounds intense...and it was... but i got used to it. by the time i actually started using the milk i had been pumping for weeks and weeks after every feed i had so much milk stored up it was ridiculous. you milk can also last in the freezer for 6 mo or longer. :O)

i know here the jobs are required to allow moms to pump at work. ask your boss. you might be suprised.

Heaven - Tuesday, 9 December
they say pump as many times a day as you your baby will eat. so if a baby eats every two hours then thats 12 feedings a day

oh that didnt work out. i became engored and she wouldnt latch on. i got a pump and only pumped maybe 3 bottles a day and she eats like 10 times a day so i had to switch to formula. i have no more milk as of now. which is nice because i hated to wear nursing pads. leaking was annoying!

oh and yes i think its a girl!!
