Wyoming - Sunday, 28 September Hoping that your baby has a good appetite and it's just a head cold, try feeding smaller amounts more often. If you've noticed the baby has less problems breathing/no coughing at a certain time of day - then feed then so there is good nutrition intake. A last resort is that your baby won't eat much until feeling better and will make up the lost weight when well.
Hope everyone feels better soon!
ladobruk - Sunday, 28 September I saw your post about sick baby...you can either use a nasal aspirator to suck out the snot, or buy saline drops and and put them in the nose to help loosen things up. And, of course you can do both.
DANNIE - Friday, 29 August I saw your post about oatmeal and milk supply- My mom broguht over a bunch of oatmeal cookies when I first came home from the hospital and told me it would help my milk....and it did! Oatmeal is a frequently recommended food for increasing milk supply, possibly because it contains iron and nursing mothers are often iron deficient. It's also a good source of fiber, and I'm told that if you ask a dairy farmer what they do to increase milk yield, they say that they increase fiber intake.
Sweet Baby - Monday, 18 August I have a question if you don't mind. I had a c-section with my son and the doctor wants me to go all c-sections. I really wanted to try a vagina birth. Is that what you did? C-section w/ the 1st one and vagina w/ the 2nd one? How did it go? Was there many complications, or were you able just to go in there and have it like a normal person would with no previous c-sections? Sorry if I'm bothering you, just would like some insight on this. Thanks! Sarah (oh, congrats on your little one! SOOO cute)
GoonieMomma - Thursday, 14 August SO: are you getting induced tomorrow?
kaycie1 - Thursday, 14 August wow, i think u are ready to pop! u look good though.
sowright - Saturday, 9 August Are you a VBAC? I had a c-section with my first and I am trying really hard for a vaginal birth this time. My mind keeps swaying too. SHould I go? No I'm not, well.... Good luck on delivery day!
pageantmommy - Saturday, 9 August That sounds firmilar, I havent actually been to the doctor yet. I have just spoke to them on the phone. After reading risk for vbac, I just don't think it is for me! thanks
Trini - Wednesday, 6 August How did you survive the fasting with the 3 hour? That is torture. I will be feeling horrible.
waiting08 - Friday, 1 August You are the second person with that LMP I've spoken with and she said she either conceived 11th, 13th, or 15th for sure! Thats good enough for me. Also, I got my first 3D u/s picture today and he has a nose like his daddy! lol...so that was futher confirmation. Thanks for your help!!
sapphiregirl - Thursday, 24 July Thank you so much!!
babynguyen2 - Thursday, 17 July Congrats on the baby girl!
carlybarleyx - Tuesday, 17 June Hi thanks for your post on the fourm. I dont really know how to feel about it to be honest. I feel a bit in limbo because I wont actually know how far along I am until next thursday. But for now I'm sticking to me original EDD which makes me 29+5 because if I suddenly start counting myself as 35 weeks and then they decide at the scan next week that my midwife got it wrong it'll be like going back 6 weeks! I saw your post about painful kicks and I get them too..they hurt so much sometimes! xxx
firsttimemomtobe - Wednesday, 11 June LoL, I saw your post about the painful kicks! And I completely understand. I tell everyone it used to be cute and fun, but now it's like okay, kiddo, you need to calm down in there, lol. I feel like my organs have been completely rearranged. I kept telling my b/f about it too, and he was like yeah okay...didn't really pay much attention, then last night he felt her move, and he goes 'WOW!' I said yeah, now try to sleep through that all night..hehe..anyway..not to much longer, and we get to meet our little ones..
SarahEPoff - Wednesday, 23 April thats really great.. that was my exact plan up till now.. the guy I wanted to be the father of all my babies up and left this weekend.. I'm finding it really hard to put on a happy face for my little guy..
SarahEPoff - Friday, 18 April Hi I just had my baby 3 months ago (by c section).. I also don't want my children to be to far apart in age.. I was thinking that I might get pregnant again in December(I'd like to attempt a VBAC also).. I would be doing exactly what your doing only a month sooner.. I was planning on waiting the whole two years to heal but I have it set in my mind that I don't want to have another baby in the winter time so December would be the best month unless I wanted to wait another year which I don't.. I'd just like to know if your doctors seemed upset when you told them you were pregnant again so soon and what exactly did they say about you attempting a VBAC
juliet444 - Thursday, 20 Mar Thanks for sharing your experience on induction. It's really interesting to see what could happen. I'm due to be induced next Wednesday and am REALLY nervous! I worry that I'm getting all set for next week and then it won't work. I'm scared my baby's not ready but they have advised I be induced because of GD. We are in the hands of the doctors I guess. Good luck with your pregnancy.
Jaclyn82 - Thursday, 6 Mar hahahaha! your comment was funny. I have the SAME exact problem. Its like i eat prunes, fiber cereal and its like i am the noise machine all day. I dont get it. I think its getting a tiny bit better but deff not much. I did hear someone say there is now a prenatal that has a stool softener in it. I dont want to call my dr. and ask because i feel like i call them all the time for everything. So i am going to ask next week when i go get my u/s. I am going to try and find out the sex too. I go next Wednesday. Good luck!
mumofsix - Friday, 29 Feb Thanks for your comments. I didn't want to say on my blog that first babies are usually the hardest as all the first timers might freak out. I am sure your experience will be very different this time. All the best.
wedward **PINK** - Wednesday, 12 Dec I know, the wait to tell everyone is agonizing! I have my first scan on he 21st, then I will tell my family on xmas day. Can't wait. About the breast tenderness, I don't have any either, but I have read that the tenderness is the tissues enlarging in the breast, but I have a theory that if you were pregant or nursing not so long ago that they are already 'stretched out' and they aren't sore. Mine aren't either, so I'm going with my theory, but remember also no two pregnancies are alike...
