Husband & I were High School sweethearts and started dating in August of 1984. He had just finished his first year of college and I just finished my Sophomore year in high school. We dated until Spring of 1990. We always kept in touch over the years (lunch, movies, drinks, etc...) and started exclusively dating again in November of 2003. He proposed while we were vacationing at the family condo in Florida in September of 2004. We were married in October of 2005 and spent our honeymoon in the Bahamas (for 10 days) and Philadelphia (for 4 days). We bought our house and moved out of the condo in November of 2005. We had to paint, rip out old (shag) carpets and clean every nook and cranny so we decided I would stay on the pill until that was all done. I finally came of birth control pills in December of 2005 after being on them for 20+ years (due to irregular cycles) and we have been trying since January of 2006. Started fertility testing in January of 2007. Everything with both of us came back good. We fall into the percentile of "unexplained" infertility.

From this cycle forward, we are not using OPK's or any other type of fertility assisting devices. Whatever happens, happens. When God is ready, He will bless us with the miracle of a child. I am now leaving it in His hands and will pray everyday to Him and St. Gerard that my husband and I can experience the joys of pregnancy and child birth. I want to thank everyone for taking this long 37 month journey with me and pray that we all get what it is we want so badly. God bless all of you and good luck on your journey to motherhood. Everything is a go! my ultrasound showed on cd 7-12 follicles growing, so my retreival is set for Friday! Which is considered conception day, so we can run this ride together!!!!

Ladies I want to share with you this site I have found...... http://www.fertilityties.com.......From what I understand about the site, Doctors volunteer and answer questions that you post. It has a chat where ladies talk back and forth, but what I have found to be very helpful is where you can post a question. I have asked 2 questions and both times Dr Q from LA, Cali has answered them. I wish I was closer and could go see him in person! I am going to post the questions and answer in a blog for anyone interested. Just wanted to share the site with you lovely ladies and hope it can be helpful to you as well! : )

I just had my first appointment with a fertility doctor and we did all the blood work.I have a mid-cycle ultrasound scheduled for 12/15.Do you happen to know what your FSH is? I don't know mine yet but I bet it will be high because of my age.I think I have read way to much on the internet-LOL

Message to all: In the last 2 years you all posted 1.1 million photos to the site, and that needs a little maintenance. We are currently renaming all photos from the personal photobooks in order to speed up the site. Some, or all your photos may not show while we are working on the photobooks. HI-I just had my first appointment with a fertility doctor today and it went well.I have to have all the blood work done on Friday (FSH & all the genetic stuff) my husbands sperm was fine but they are doing blood work on him also. I'm scheduled for a mid-cycle ultrasound in 12 days to check out my insides-LOL
I was wondering have you read the book"The Infertility Cure" ?

Just wanted to share with you ladies we tried the pre conceive (Wal-mart brand of pre seed) out this evening and I really like it, DH did too! It felt silky. Just as a lub alone I would recommend it but it is an added bonus that it helps the spermies get to where they need to go!
