I know its hard to keep hearing this, but dont give up. Try to stay positive about the whole thing. My fertility doc used to always tell me not to let myself get stressed out...Yeah, right. You know how it is...and everywhere you go it seems like there are pg women, and it really makes your self-worth go into the toilet (well, at least it did for me). I kept asking what I ever did to deserve this, or why me? Or why can a 14 year old who is unprepared for the world do it and not me?? I finally came to grips and said, well, if this is whats its going to be, at least i dont have to do it alone..my husband loves me. And I'm sure yours does too. I think the men in this are just as incredible as the women. It cant be easy to watch your wife go through the shots every night, and sadness every month... My advice (if you want it)? Live your life (keep trying, of course)...and love your husband....afterall, thats about all we really have total control of.
I am doing ok, thanks for asking. I didnt have any morning sickness...almost at 20 weeks now. I had an appt today..only have gained 2 pounds, and the babys heartrate is 146 and strong. I find out the sex (hopefully) on 4/16 @ my ultrasound. Take care of yourself, and if you ever need to talk, you know where to find me!! ~Patrice

I agree with you the site is crazy at the moment but I guess we will get used to it!!!!! So you starting your meds soon, that's great news, I will keep you in my thoughts as alway and I hope you BFP comes very soon. Scooping up as much baby dust as I can find and throwing it your way.........

Third time is a charm...it was for me...we went through 14 months, a failed IUI attempt (ended in tubal pg), and 2 failed IVF attempts...then POOF it worked... Of course, this one was paid for by us, not insurance!! Isnt that the way it always is?? I'm sure you feel like we did...How do you put a price on it?? Lots of Luck and Love to you...I knpw this is hard, but stay positive!!!

I am so happy!! Everything is great!! Thanks for checking on me. Everyone here cares soooo much and that helps alot!! My girlfriends showed up at the hopsital b/c they didn't want me to be alone!! it was sooo sweet. The baby is great, the HB was 171!! and moving like crazy! She can't figure out where the bleed came from but thinks I may have done too much (lifting and stuff) So I guess I need to learn to ask for help more! LOL I'm so happy and less stressed! She said the chance of miscarriage is slim to none at this point and she thinks all will be just fine and that she bets that I can't button my pants! LOL and she's right!

I feel ok, no morning sickness, it make me worry some times cause I don't really feel pregnant!!! I have a doctors appointment this morning with my fertility specialist and now he will refer me to an OB/GYN. I was watching a TV show yesterday where the couple had a cromosome problem and they ended up having 2 health babies it was amazing, I love those happy ending stories. Good luck with the results I will be thinking of you.

I know the WAITING sucks-but at least your waiting for a good reason...I just started the fertility journey just yesterday so I too will have some 'wait' periods coming up. I do ovulate I think, but it seems my egg has trouble bursting through the follicle-it gets tuck and forms into a cyst)I was just thinking maybe Clomid would help with that...yes self-medicating. I dont get my results from yesterday til next week, AF is to arrive this weekend, all tests thus far have been BFN.hang in there, keep me posted ;-)

Hi Sparky - just wanted to let you know that I too have been on the IVF bandwagon for the past 8 years. We have had 9 fully stimulated IVF cycles and 18 frozen transfers. I have had both of my tubes removed, cycts on my ovaries, too many endometrial biopsies, hystroscopies, D&Cs and laparoscopies to count! Keeping all of this in mind, I am extremely pleased to say that on our 27th IVF attempt (the latest one) we have successfully conceived and we are currently 7.5 weeks pregnant. Don't give up - keep dreaming your dream and it WILL happen. Lots and lots of baby dust to you!

Hello, good luck to you and have faith, all good things come to those who wait. You have been waiting a long time, so when you get your reward it will be extra special. I have a friend like you and she was about to give up when she got the BFP, then to top it all off when she went for the ultrsound it was twins, so she waited a long time like you, but god blessed her double. you will be in my thougts and prayers. anytime you need someone to talk to just drop me a lime.

Called the IVF clinic to get our results, BFP!!! We are in shock. Thank you so much for your thoughts and support, I could not have got through the past few months without you. I just read your page and it sounds like you have a great fertility doctor, good luck with the tests, keep me posted.
