Hi, My name is Stacy :) My husband, Darby and I are just over 8 weeks pregnant and we are so excited! We found out the news on our 1 year wedding anniversary, what a gift huh?! We were worried we'd have a little trouble conceiving but everything worked out beautifully. I can't wait to start showing and feeling the baby in there, it's all just a little surreal for now...

Just wanted to let ya know that MUM MUM's are a treat for babies that you can buy where you get your baby food. Check the second ingredient though........unfortunatly it's sugar. :( Good for atreat, and melts in their mouth.

After hearing what you all think in regards to posting photos on the forums, we have modified the rules and ask that everyone familiarize yourself so that the site continues to remain friendly for everyone, including new members. In an effort to be respectful of all members of the site, we ask that members do not post more than ONE photo or video per person in the weekly, monthly and information forums. Your ONE picture should be small in size as well. Any large photos will be deleted. You are welcome to post as many pictures as you would like in the photo books, which were created for the purpose of sharing and viewing photos. You may also post as many blogs as you would like with photos in them. We understand that many members enjoy posting and viewing pictures on the forums, but this is not where they belong. We must keep the pictures on the boards to a minimum so that the written comments can continued to be written and read. Otherwise, the numerous amounts of large pictures squash the messages and they become missed. We ask that this modification be respected, therefore any member that continues to post numerous pictures a day will be deleted from the site. Thank you all for helping us keep the site friendly and welcoming for all members.

Message to all: In the last 2 years you all posted 1.1 million photos to the site, and that needs a little maintenance. We are currently renaming all photos from the personal photobooks in order to speed up the site. Some, or all your photos may not show while we are working on the photobooks. You don't have to do anything. We hope to have all photos sorted in about 24 hours from now. You can upload new photos to your photobook while the computer is working on your other photos. Thanks for reading.

 2 CUTIE PATOOTIES!!!!!!!

babybehappy - Tuesday, 25 November
He he that's funny that you did the same thing. I've made sweet potatoes, butternut squash, oatmeal and zucchini. I'm going to do brown rice next. It feels good to know exactly what is in or is not in his food. And it's so easy, at least at this point. I just cook it up and throw it in the blender to puree. Then I stick it in ice trays to freeze it in cubes.

I hear you on the pumping thing. My position is this; I've made it to 6 months and that was my goal. Anything I get after that is just bonus. I haven't put any kind of expectations on myself beyond that. I'm only pumping 4 times a day now. 10am, 4pm, 10pm and 4am. I plan on using my milk stores if I need them. No point in holding on to it now. Especially because he is on solids too.

Now I'm just working in getting him to sleep thru the night. He still wakes up every 3 hours to eat. So I'm starting to cut down on the amount I give him in the night and I just increase what I give him during the day. So he's still getting the same amount of milk plus what ever solids I feed him. Some people suggest the "cry it out" method but that's just not for me. How does October (really love that name) do during the night?

 Sooo cute!

babybehappy - Monday, 24 November
We're doing great, thanks for asking! We went out of town on a little trip this weekend and we had a great time with our little guy. Solids have been going good but what I find hard is, getting into the habit. I was doing solids once a day and then we went on this trip and I didn't give him any mostly because it was very inconvenient. :( I know, bad mom right? Anyway, I'll start again this week. I guess I didn't feel too bad about it because they say solids at this point is mostly for practice and not nutrition. I make all his food and I just didn't want to buy any baby food. I had more milk than I could feed him so I know he ate well.

So is October crawling yet? Kannon isn't just yet. He can get up on his hand and knees for just a second and then he's down.

adriennella - Monday, 24 November
awww. you're wonderful

I will send it off this week, along with something I got for you in Santa Cruz today

adriennella - Sunday, 23 November
The wooden buttons aren't too manly for the sweater! I LOVE it. I took her to a fancy pants place where Russell was playing the blues last night and got one ton of compliments on the sweater. I'd love to send Amy a thank you note along with a few pics of Rose in the sweater. Also, I'd love to pay her a legitimate amount to make another sweater or two or three in the next year. My friends are ALL getting pregnant and having babies! I'll write her a letter and see if she's interested in doing it (for a legitimate price this time!!!).

Russell and I are going to Santa Cruz today. I'm super duper excited! I want him to get his lazy ass out of bed and go NOW! I need the escape because I've been working hard. I even went into work yesterday. Boooooooo. I have to work three days this week and then we're going to Russell's family's cabin in Arnold, CA. I don't know if that's anywhere near Eureka.

Hope you had fun at your party. Talk to you soon!

adriennella - Sunday, 23 November
You made me smile and smile tonight! We do have some cuties, don't we? Hee hee!!!!!! You're so funny with your compliments. I think you're just about the sweetest little thing ever! I think it's YOU that needs to enter a little October Lullaby bumblebee, pink sweater, or current profile pic into a contest! You'd win the "Killing Us with Cuteness" award for sure!

adriennella - Saturday, 22 November
I've been working so incredibly hard (15 parent teacher conferences after school this week) and am feeling a bit down because Russell's out playing music every night and my friends are all busy this weekend...and then I got your PACKAGE!!! I can't thank you enough. First of all, you didn't take enough money, you little sneaky thing! I think that the sweater was worth way more than that, and you went through all of the trouble to get the yarn and to overnight the box to me! I think you paid me for the sweater!!! I dig the burp cloths. They're way too cute for vomit! Ok, I'm out of control with the exclamation points!!! Can't wait to use the razberry. You are so thoughtful.

I'm looking forward to seeing you and Darby in January. I'd love to show you guys some new places if you have the time. I'm sure you'll be busy with friends, but if you have an afternoon free, I could take you somewhere cool (and fit in a bubble tea).

ps You have fabulous handwriting and I love your stationery! I use the same kind sometimes!! (different characters)

I just read your message on the month page. My little girl Pollyanna isn't showing any signs of crawling either. She really doesn't like being on her tummy and to be honest has not even attempted to roll! What she does love on the other hand is walking just like your daughter. She sits for a short while but mostly goes stiff and you can't bend her. She prefers to stand too. How funny. Iam relived that Pollyanna isn't alone. I did think that there must be something wrong with her not reaching her milestones. Phew!

adriennella - Wednesday, 19 November
oh my gosh, this took my breath away...most beautiful baby ever

adriennella - Wednesday, 19 November
OOh, new October pic! I'll have to come see your site.

I also agree that it's so cool that we met sort of randomly and then hit it off. You are completely adorable and very groovy! You and Darby acutally made me a little nervous with your hipness! LOL. what a goof I am.

We'll definitely have to hang out again. Maybe Russell will be playing music the next time you come down.

I'm very excited about the sweater. If the money I gave you for it isn't enough, let me know. Shipping and extra yarn cost extra dollars.

Have a great night!

adriennella - Sunday, 16 November
I had the most wonderful time meeting you, Darby, and beautiful October! I was a bit frazzled, am a dumbass (baby brain) lately, and hated that I had to skip out halfway thru. You're super cool and I keep telling Russell that I think we'd be good friends if we lived nearer. We're planning a train trip in January and Eureka's on our list of possibilities. If a train goes there, maybe we could meet for dinner.

Thank you so much for the advice on nursing. I've done more kangaroo time and even had an oatmeal cookie in your honor.

If you come down again, I'd love to see you! This time, I'll bring Russell along.

adriennella - Wednesday, 12 November
Yesterday was one of the most fun times I've had in ages. You and Darby are super cool, and I couldn't stop talking about ya'll when I got home. I told Russell that he would've loved you guys, too. October was adorable, of course, and even cuter than in pictures. I didn't think it was possible!!

I also brought my camera to snap photos but completely forgot. I really have half a brain cell left.

I hope you got all of the goodies you were looking for. Thanks for letting me share the time with you. I hope we can do that again another time when you come down (or perhaps I'll make a trip to Eureka some time and bring you bubble tea). How far away are you?

Have a great trip home. Talk to you soon.
