BabyFinley030608 - Saturday, 19 April Hey I just read your post and it defiantly sounds like carpal tunnel to me. I have been suffering from the same problem and went to my doc. He told me that carpal tunnel syndrome during pregnancy is bought on by excess fluid retention in the hands and will often affect both hands. They told me that it is carpal tunnel if: the pain is worse at night and when you wake up, it doesnt effect your little fingers, and is usually worse in the three middle fingers. I have to wear splints on my hands at night to stop my wrists bending and I have defiantly noticed the benefits. If your doctor is adament that it is not carpal tunnel, try to support your wrists when you sleep, but it sounds like your suffering the same as me. Hopefully you'll start to feel some relief soon.
3girls2008 - Thursday, 17 April I was in the same boat yesterday my little one she wouldn't do much at all and I had noticed she isn't really kicking anymore but stretching out! Now today she is a little boxer! I would definitely pay attention to it and if you don't feel anything in an hour call your doc!
kytti - Sunday, 13 April Well, hopefully out ultrasounds are right! I don't want to bring my little boy home in all pink either, lol. Nor to a purple and pink room!!
kytti - Friday, 11 April Wow! Heh, I have the SAME thoughts you do! I've already bought so many pink and purple clothes!! We were thinking about doing a 3d/4d ultrasound at 27 weeks just to "confirm" it and if something happens and it is a boy then we will have time to fix it. What do you think??
Kelly-Ramirez - Thursday, 10 April thank you very much lol
wigles16 - Wednesday, 9 April Thanks for the comment it just freaks me out because it's really fast and only last a few seconds then she doesnt do it again...so I was worried it was seizures but I guess it's rare or something I dont know I'll just go with the hiccup thing it makes me feel better lol
stylesmommy - Sunday, 6 April thanks so much. you and your husband are a great help. ill just get my mom to prime and paint it then.. but 1 more quick question if its okay. Say she starts at around 4pm.. would i be able to sleep in my room by night? at around 12 at night?.. im painting my room which will also be babys nursery until around 6 months or so.
nmck - Sunday, 6 April Hey! I use the Clean and Clear orange foaming facial cleanser. It has triclosan, an antibacterial as the medicated ingredient. I don't know if that one is allowed or not, but I figure it is on my face for a few seconds in the shower. What harm can it do? I also use nuetrogena anti-acne moisturizer. It does have salicylic acid, but I only use a touch and not even every day. My sister uses tons of salicylic acid products, and had no idea they were to be avoided in pregnancy. Her son turned out just fine!
imabamommy - Saturday, 5 April awww...I'm glad I haven't had any feet problems, back yeah until I started sleeping on the couch. lol.. You're right we dont' have long now. Take care and congrats!!!
gabymom - Friday, 4 April I never have acne till now too. Like you is around my chin. Also, my face is so greasy, hate it. I just wash it frequently ( Clinic soap) and use the astringent (toner)everytime it gets really oily. If you get good advice keep me posted.
kbaby - Wednesday, 26 Mar yeah, I have GD and I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but nomatter what you eat, if you have GD, your levels will spike after eating sugar. So, just keep your fingers crossed!
featherweight - Wednesday, 26 Mar I'm having such trouble sleeping on my sides but mostly because I find it so much more comfortable to sleep on my back! When I lie on my side I get heartburn and painful hips - when I lie on my back I feel fine! I've put pillows all around me to stop me from rolling onto my back too and apparently, if some part of your back is elevated ie a little bit on the edge of the pillow, that's enough to be ok... Good luck!
tina341 - Tuesday, 25 Mar Hey I saw your message about sleeping. I have the same issue. My DR. said that when you end up on your back, your body naturally wakes you up. I fall asleep on my side (uncomfortable) and always wake up on my back. I guess its because our bodies know we need to move. My Dr. said not to freak out because my body knows. You may want to ask your Dr. but just thought I would let you what I am goiing through.Good luck
EricaLynn - Saturday, 22 Mar hi, thanks for your encouragement and advice! i think i'm gonna try one of the clear blues soon cuz bunch of ppl keep recommending it and hopefully it will work!! congrats on your pregnancy!
I'm on symbicort as well. At first I was feeling kind of light headed after taking the inhaler. Just make sure you rinse out your mouth so you don't get thrush. Good luck to you and your pregnancy! We are almost there =)
