adriennella - Tuesday, 7 October Are you making it down to Santa Cruz when you come to Fremont? It's only an hour away! You should see your bestest friend!
Looking forward to meeting you at IKEA! By the time you're here I'll be back at work, I think. YOu're coming in November, right? I'd have to come after 3 or on the weekend.
Did you take pictures of her first feeding? I swear I take pictures of everything.
Laura Ward - Monday, 6 October Message to all This may be interesting to some of you. Seema`s email is seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com
Hi there,
I work for a television production company based in the UK . We are currently making a documentary for ITV1 exploring the issues surrounding pregnancy and eating disorders. The film will be a thoughtful and insightful look into this extremely sensitive subject.
We’re in the research stage of our production and very keen to chat to women who are, or have been, pregnant whilst having an eating disorder.
If you’re interested in having a chat or finding out more about our documentary, it would be really great to hear from you. All communication would be in complete confidence.
You can contact me on: seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com

tandiann - Monday, 6 October I think buying is the way to go anyhow cuz we just watched it 2 days ago and I think we should again to refresh the techniques. But yeah, it is crazy. She still doesn't sleep more than an hour to an hour and a half at a time at night but she is at least happier in the evenings. No more unexplainable crying sessions. Your little girl is so cute. We are still trying to get a good shot of her with her eyes open for the birth announcements. She'll be like 3 months old on her card! What a silly thing. Guess I better just pick the best I can and get them ordered as she is already 3 weeks.
adriennella - Monday, 6 October Maybe I haven't actually been to Eureka after all!
Man, I just HATE pumping. It's hideous. Moooooooo.
Russell, Rose and I took our first trip to the beach together today. We went to Santa Cruz, my favorite city. I just love it there. Rose was looking all around and tasting the air.
There are lots of Carter's stores. They have great sales, and additionally they give great coupons (like $10 off of $50 purchases...even the sale stuff). I think there are 4 or 5 Carter's stores in the Bay Area alone. If you do ever go to one, though, be aware that their sizing is different in the Carter's stores than in the other places that sell Carter's. THey sell a separate line to Target and other shops. I learned that the hard way after my MIL bought me tons of stuff in the wrong size.
Hope October had a great time with her first food! Have a great week.
adriennella - Sunday, 5 October I'm really, really interested in the sweater! My mom gave me a monetary gift to get something special for Rose and I think that would be the most perfect thing! I can dream anyway!
I think that I was in Eureka once. Is The American River there?
I went to Marshall's looking for bargains this week, but the clothes were ugly, scratchy, or too expensive. I bought a Carter's thing and realized that it had a hole in it when I got home. I don't care that much, but I won't really be shopping Marshall's as often. My mother in law took me on a Carter's shopping spree where we got pants for $2!
wish I could've seen those cute onesies you got
What are you, Darby, and October up to tomorrow?
adriennella - Sunday, 5 October oh, I know what you mean about people giving you maternity clothes that are just WRONG! I got handed a lot to borrow, and most of them were HIDEOUS!!! What's super annoying is that I had to keep them just to return them. I know that my friends meant well, but if I ever loan things, I'll ask first. I'm not just going to drop things off with people.
I told Russell today that we should travel to Eureka with Rose one day.
With Rose, I'll have some special things in each size, but most of my stuff is consignment or Carter's clearance. I'm such a bargain hunter! I went into a store the other day and there were baby play dresses (not fancy) for $200! I'm not even kidding. My baby is simply not that posh!
My friend teaches at the middle school in Fremont, not Irvington...too bad.
I have a weird question. Would the person who made October's sweater be willing to be paid to make another just like it? For that, I'd pay! Just thought I'd ask.
TonynOllysMommy - Sunday, 5 October i saw your post about the hemorrhoids. i am a lucky "owner" of my own set. :D my doctor told me they don't go away...he put it kind of bluntly.."they are like herpes..you have them forever, they flare up and go down, but they never go away". i have thought about having surgery but since i am planning to have more children, i am waiting. i found after trying everything, the walmart brand hemorrhoid ointment works really well. i had to use it a couple times a day for two weeks, but it helped calm them down. i also always use the witch hazel pads & sitz bath with epsom salts is great too!! hopefully you find relief so you can enjoy life 100% again. your daughter is so cute!! :D
babybehappy - Saturday, 4 October Wow, what a whirlwind! That's great that she did so good from the beginning. Yeah, she would have probably be an 8 pounder if she stayed in for another 6 weeks ;)
So she woke up every half hour? I bet you were really tired! Let me know how the solids go.
Is she starting to crawl yet? Kannon just rolls everywhere, it's pretty funny. How about sitting up?
adriennella - Saturday, 4 October Oh, I've been to "stinky ol' Eureka." It's gorgeous there!
Oh, I think I have a friend that teaches at Irvington! I'll see him tomorrow and ask!
Russell and I go out a lot ,even with Rose. We're going to his family's cabin for our first real getaway next weekend. It's up in Arnold.
Hawaii, that's exciting for sure!
I just love featherbaby. I went to Gymboree today and was ASTONISHED at that prices! I don't even spend that much on clothes for me!
When I was pregnant, I got a ton of gorgeous things in some consignment stores up in Seattle. We don't have good baby consignment here, but I found fabulous things up there. Do you have good baby consignment where you are?
adriennella - Saturday, 4 October I'm going back to work at the end of the month. Boooooo.
Where do you live by the way? I'm in San Jose.
adriennella - Saturday, 4 October Hi! I put the sweater on her, but she was fussy. I plan to try again next weekend when we go to Russell's family cabin. I'm going to put her outside in the Autumn leaves or something. Hopefully the pictures will turn out ok.
Wow, Happy Birthday to October! She's such a beauty!
When you go to IKEA, you might want to get one of those froggy bibs and stuff. My friends swear by them because they have suction cups on the base. They're only 2 or 3 bucks!
If you know when you're going to IKEA let me know and I could meet you for a cup of coffee and some meatballs! I live about 15 minutes from the IKEA in Palo ALto. I work about 15 minutes from Fremont in Milpitas.

adriennella - Saturday, 4 October clearly you have a love of clothes like me!
adriennella - Saturday, 4 October Look at her!!!!!! LOL! Soooooooo cute!!!
adriennella - Saturday, 4 October Thank you so much for the wonderfully sweet comment on Rose's picture!
The dress is from featherbaby.com. You must check it out! Their clearance is amazing.
babybehappy - Friday, 3 October Well I think it's cool that you still pump for your LO. I know it's such a pain but it's the best we can give them. I nursed Kannon until he was 41/2 months and decided I just couldn't take the pain. So I just pump now. It's still a little painful but a lot more bearable. And yeah, he was a big boy when he was born ;) So you had a preemie huh? Mind if I ask why? Just curious.
Did you say that you were going to start solids? My guy hasn't shown in interest yet so I'm going to wait a bit longer. Can't believe he's 5 months (almost)!!
babybehappy - Thursday, 2 October Hi Stacy. I just read your post on the BF forum. I was just wondering why you choose to exclusively pump? I EP because my nipples were always sore. They never "toughened up." I am baby hungry as well lol! Anyway, I love your LO's name, October, how did you get that name and do you have a nickname for her? She is a cutie! BTW my son's birthday is May 11th so our babies are really close in age.
brownsugar - Thursday, 2 October thanks so much for the comment o to my blog mama
saragirl5515 - Wednesday, 1 October My little one got his first cold at 5 weeks, and had it until he was 3 and 1/2 months old. But his got so bad he had the mucas runnin out of his mouth and they had to give him antibiotics.. which they did help!! I hated to put him on meds, but i had to do something. Then he got over it for a couple weeks, and hes got it again!! He just turn 4 months, and hes had the runny nose and cough. The runny nose is almost gone now after a week, but he is coughing soo hard! To the point he starts choking becuase hes coughing so hard. I feel soo bad for him. BeauandBrody - Wednesday, 1 October She is such a doll. Looking at the picture makes me want to have another one already. They grow up so fast :)
BeauandBrody - Wednesday, 1 October My twins just got one of these too. Beau's feet touch the floor. Brody's doesnt' but they both get such a kick out of it. Your daughter looks like she is having lots of fun too.
BeauandBrody - Wednesday, 1 October My little ones came down with colds when they were 2 months old. It was so sad. They were miserable and it was hard to watch. They both would sneeze all the time and cough and the doctor told us there wasn't any medicine we could give them...so it was really hard. It took them a month to get over it completely, but they finally did and I'm glad that time in our life is over :)
dhernandez03 - Monday, 29 September yup! Of course Ben and Jerry's didn't want any part of it. Who in there right mind would even think of such thing. look it up on line and read the article its even funny! PETA has serious issues
