Lizzy - Thursday, 25 September Ohhh cardio....How I hate it! I love weight training, but the cardio SUCKS! I still do it though. 30 mins seems like 2hours!
Lizzy - Tuesday, 23 September I'm not working yet, and I still find it hard to get to the gym....I think it's because I can't just get up and go like I used to! Now it's get up, feed the baby, walk the dog and baby, feed myself, coffee, get dressed, pack everything up for me and baby, then go. LOL I went today and signed up for childcare at the gym and am paying for it, so hopefully this will help me keep going!
adriennella - Tuesday, 23 September Oh my goodness, you're not going to believe this...my mom brought me a sweater she had as a baby and it's so cutie like October's. Rose isn't in the cutest of moods tonight, so taking a picture of you isn't going to happen. I'll let you know when it works out!
adriennella - Monday, 22 September Thank you so much for the sweet comment about Rose! Rose and October are officially members of the cutie baby club!
storm826 - Monday, 22 September i was feeling a little guilty myself about my weight, until another mom of two told me that its 9 months up and 9 months down. plus, the first 3 months are sometimes referred to as the fourth trimester, so therefore i don't feel guilty anymore! i'd rather spend time with my daughter or husband than work out, i just watch what i eat and go for walks.
lilmamma - Monday, 22 September try putting a phone book underneath! thats what we do :)
clarissagayle - Saturday, 20 September Thanks! It's good to know I'm not alone. She seems to nurse well at 10 pm but during the day she gets mad when I try. When she does latch good she doesn't take much, not enough to fill her up but I think I'll keep doing it just for my own selfishness. :) I am going to try to pump until she's 6 months, I figure if I can make it until she can get some solid food that should be good. I don't think I can make it a whole year. I haven't gone back to work yet and I don't know how that is going to be. Do you work? Do you pump at work? If so, how is that going?
Lizzy - Friday, 19 September I love your baby's name!!
mummof2 - Friday, 19 September Hi Starby, try a little constarch after baths or at bed time to keep it dry. Should clear up in a week or so. My daughter had this and the constarch cleaned it up.
contessa - Thursday, 18 September Hello Starby, I am definately going to purchase teh pump and style you mentioned. Everyone seems to rave about it. I especially find if you exclusively pump that it must be good. I am going to give the breastfeeding from the breast a try, but I want to be able to have the option to pump and feed if needed. Thanks for your tips, very helpful! Oh and you baby pic is sooo cute!
melliebellie - Wednesday, 17 September thanks! yeah, she just recently fits into that shirt. couldn't wait to put it on her! :)
charleston - Tuesday, 16 September LOL!! Thanks for your comment. I do love my "mommy juice" (margarita's) It gives us all a chance to unwind at the end of the day.
brandi0881 *pink* - Tuesday, 16 September I will check that out! I found one on craigslist and they won't ansewr me...GRRRRRR!!!!!
nicole87 - Sunday, 14 September thanks =). do you put the gripe water in a bottle? how much are you supposed to give? i am willing to try anything that is safe. i hope she learns soon, i cant stand watching it anymore!! i think she has alot of gas too. she never ever ever burps... we just cant get one single burp out of her.

nicole87 - Sunday, 14 September we do have one of those chairs but it doesnt seem to help too much =(. it really is soooo sad. i am glad to know it doesnt last forever but 2 months is a long time lol. i am going to try the chair again next time she does that. thanks for the advice!!! we really appreciate it! ur daughter is adorable =).
rebneter - Sunday, 14 September lol, i thought i was the only one who mass produced!! it was nice to have such a large supply (i was able to feed her for almost 6 months with what i pumped in 2) but i couldn't ever go anywhere or get any sleep b/c i HAD to pump every 2 hours. we had our entire chest freezer plus our regular freezer packed and ended up storing more at my inlaws too. i had to put it in tupperware a few times because i kept running out of containers, lol, luckily his mom is a nurse so she was able to get us a bunch of containers from her work. have you tried any of the bags? if so is there a certain brand that you recommend? i was thinking about trying the medela ones since they are supposed to attach directly to the pump but have read mixed reviews about them.. how did you get you milk to slow down? i was told to just not pump myself empty for a couple sessions and instead of slowing down i ended up with nothing. i was thinking about trying the dr. browns bottles but they look like they are a pain to clean? i liked that they come in preemie size/flow though, thats not easy to find. thanks, good luck!!
newbiemama - Sunday, 14 September hey Starby! How are ya? Still pumpin'? I've slowed down and almost stopped... Jack is taking about half formula now. It was hard to keep it up with teaching. Grade 8's aren't so understanding when it comes to pumping your boobs during class (hahaha) but lately for some reason my milk has reserected and came back flowing more than ever!!! So guess I'm back at it for a bit longer hahaha! Are you still making a ton? By the way I snuck in a photot of jack!
soulmama - Wednesday, 10 September Thanks for the response. I was worried cause I thought maybe something was wrong and I was drying up. I really want to keep nursing her for the next few months
atrip1 - Monday, 8 September awww thankyou! So did your hubby decide to buy a wig for your baby or what? lol
Finlaysmum - Thursday, 4 September That was the name that the pound had given her and it is so appropriate as she sticks to me like 'velcro'. I go for a pee and she sits outside the bathroom too - she is hyper too. Walking with her and the pram can be a bit of a mission especially when she wants to chase the rowers on the river!
Finlaysmum - Thursday, 4 September That is such a nice thing to do!lol. ps the dog is pretty cute too! Is he/she okay with October? Velcro always tries to wash Fin - i guess it is a protective thing!
