Finlaysmum - Thursday, 4 September I didn't last time but a couple of hours after the shots he really cracked up. got really hot and his legs went a bit blotchy. I gave him panadol then but he was in such a state! I think that next week I will just give it to him beforehand and see if that makes a difference????
Finlaysmum - Thursday, 4 September Probably the same as tyenol that you american ladies go on about - just baby paracetamol.
Finlaysmum - Thursday, 4 September Yeah Fin has his next wednesday. The 2 month ones were horrid but this time I am going to give him panadol before he goes to the GP.
Finlaysmum - Thursday, 4 September Hiya, thanks for the comment - he has been pulling on his face too. he seems better today so here's hoping. It goes right through you when they scream like that and I start crying too! Your daughter is gorgeous - thanks again.kx
brownsugar - Wednesday, 3 September soooooooooo adorable
military~mommy - Monday, 1 September Just Chillin' ... Lol,
cherryb0m - Monday, 1 September i have 1 more month till her 4month apt. yikes, i dont want her to get anymore shots.... i know she has to. i want to get elizabeths ears pierced but, lol, im sucha wuss i would probably cry more than her.
military~mommy - Sunday, 31 August I had them done, they were too expensive! Buttt... I have a pretty decent digital camera, so I took pics of those pppictures an uploaded them to kodak online and ordered more there. Cheating, but 8 8x10's, 3 5x7's, and 10 wallets were $740. I wasn't paying any more than that, though everything did come in nice leather albums. We are a bit isolated here so there is a monopoly of alot of things, if you want pics there are only 2 places and the both charge outrageous amounts!
adriennella - Sunday, 31 August Darby's a fantastic name! You two are so sweet to look sat our pics!! Your post gave me the biggest smile.
That is so sweet that Darby got you a purse! I got a manly diaper bag for Russell...LOL! It's a black backpack. What do you pack in your diaper bag?
I realy like that carseat, too. I found this fantastic vintage brown pram fom the 60's that I have pink and brown bedding for. Russell and I are planning Rose's first ride in it tomorrow.
Things are good at home. I got a pamphlet from the hospital that said that babies cry 2 to 3 hours a day in the first week. I was shocked!!! Rose cries a total of 2 to 3 minutes a day...no kidding! She's just the sweetest little thing. I can't believe how lucky I am.
She eats often and very, very well. Breastfeeding is already getting less painful, and I'm so glad for that. She stays up a lot at night, and that's a challenge, but I think that will get easier, too. She's still only 6 days old!
What are you doing with the things you packed up? I wonder how I'll feel when I have to get rid of Rose's things. I am planning to ask my friends to have a mommy yard sale party with me in the Spring. That might make it easier. I'm a teacher, and Rose is the 14th baby to be born in the past 3 years at my school (there are only 36 teachers!). Can you believe that? There are jokes about how there's something in the school water or how there should be a sex restriction on new hires!\
Have a good Sunday. Give your beauty lots and lots of kisses.
military~mommy - Sunday, 31 August Don't bother dumping, when you are sober again your milk is too, the alcohol in your milk goes down as it goes down in your blood, so if you only have a couple beers just wait ot pump till you're sober! If you get engorged though and need to relieve your breast but are still feeling drunk, just pump a little out and dump that. (I was pissy at hubby and had a couple white russisns the other night, pumped before bed and dumped that, then in the morning was g ood to go). Have fun at you BBQ
military~mommy - Sunday, 31 August Thank you, I will try tossing the first oz or so! I am making enough to be able to do that now, :-)
adriennella - Sunday, 31 August Russell says that October is so cute!
cherryb0m - Saturday, 30 August that is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay to cute, i love the outfit and her smile is sooo precious
cherryb0m - Saturday, 30 August elizabeth has reflux too, she is on prevacid though. anyways, we do all the tricks too, to help her out and her spit up seemed to go away until recently. she has started to spit up a little more. she is bf, she gets the boob & the bottle. unless your little one is spitting up most of what she eats, i woulnt worry. if she doesnt seem upset about it, she is probably okay. sometimes elizabeth will get a big bubble in her tummy and that will make her spit up more than normal too..... i'm sure she is fine. however, trust your gut feeling and call her dr. lol i call her dr almost once a week. i'm a first time mom and i dont know whats "normal" or not.
adriennella - Friday, 29 August awww....thank you so much for the compliment! I think she's beautiful, too, but I'm sooooooooo biased. She's the sweetest thing I've ever met. Now all I need is a coat like your baby has!
kaylouise - Sunday, 24 August This photo is so cute. xx
kaylouise - Sunday, 24 August Tell me about it i am not looking forward to putting Henry in his own room but they do say that we should have them in with us till 6 months so just over 2 months to go. I have aslo caught one of my cats in his cot so i have now got a cat net and they seem to have got the idea that they are not allowed in there. Are you going to shut your cats out of the nursery once she is in there? the things we do for our cats ha ha ha. xx
kaylouise - Sunday, 24 August My cats are the same want to get into all his stuff. Is she in her own nursery yet or in with you? do you let the cats in the nursery? Henry is still in with us but i will be putting him in his own room soon this is where one of my cats sleeps. He doesnt have any teeth coming through yet. teething salts are just little sachets of a king of powder you just pour it in to there mouth and it helpd with the teething it seems to work so far. Henry has teething links that he is now holding they are good for his little hands but he still does not get them in his mouth he just likes his hands. xx
adriennella - Sunday, 24 August Hi there! It was so nice to see your message and your cutie baby profile picture today. She's impossible not to smile at!!!
I woke up in the worst mood today. I hurt so badly all night long and the contractions that were consistent and 15 minutes apart last night just stopped this morning. I was so sad and angry. The contractions have returned, but I'm trying not to time them for a while so I'm not so disappointed as yesterday. That false alarm impacted me more than I would've thought.
Russell and I went out for the day. I got some candles and a haircut and he bought me a gift card from Anthropologie so I can get something pretty after the baby's born. It cheered me a lot.
How are you?
kaylouise - Saturday, 23 August Your baby is so cute. How has your cat taken to her? Henry started to teeth just after 3 months he is 4 months next week and still chewing his hands loads i have brought loads of teething rings but he will not chew them even though he is now picking things up. I give him teething salts and these seem to help. Good luck and let me know if you find anything that helps. xx
kevinswifee - Saturday, 23 August I was looking at one like that, and the other one was the Playtex Embrace Breast Pump, The playtex one is a little cheaper but I haven't read one bad review about it. They are so many choices, how did you decide?
Iansmommy - Friday, 22 August Thank you so much for the comment. Ian does love his activity center but what I'm dying to get him is the Jumperoo. I have the Johnny Jumper but my door frames are too large and it won't fit. Ian is so active and I think it will be fun for him. Oh, I went on your page to look at your little one and she is gorgeous! I love this pic of her in her pink knit sweater and cap. Is it handmade? One more thing, I just have to comment on her name- October Lullaby. I do believe that is one of the best names I've ever heard. It is so unique and has a beautiful sound to it. Hope you and October are having a great day! Mickie
priceymommy - Friday, 15 August Thank u... thats very reassuring...( tho my strength isnt by choice...jus responsibility) . good luck to you as well... UR LITTLE GIRL IS BEAUTIFUL!!!!!
