The pump that i have comes with a 24 mm. I bought the next 2 sizes and with each one things getting better. i didn't think I needed an even bigger size but maybe i do. what is sore the most is the areola around the nipples but they are sore also. i'll for sure try the soothies though. Thanks for the advice.

I wish I knew your mom's friend! I would pay her all of my pennies to make that outfit!!!!!!!

I'm addicted to IKEA. Russell's actually put me on IKEA restriction as I'm getting closer to having this baby. He thinks I'll get stuck in the middle of the store and go into labor...LOL!

I can't wait for my baby to come!

Again, October is precious!

adriennella - Sunday, 10 August
 just too cute for words...

adriennella - Sunday, 10 August
Thank you so much for your lovely compliment on my nursery! Russell and I had the most wonderful time making it, and now we're counting down the seconds until we have our sweet baby in there. I got the furniture at Target, some of the decorations at IKEA, and a recent macrame giraffe was given to us by a fun friend.

I love your baby's picture! Did you make that adorable coat?

Hi Starby! Your daughter is GORGOUS! What a beauty. I'm going to update my page soon since the last shot of jack is a womb shot!

I'm on vacay right now... yup pumping inbetween beach swims! How is working and pumping going? Did your mastitis clear up??? I'm going back to work in a couple weeks too and still want to pump.

Glad we got our page! We have seperate issues from the other girls! take care!

brownsugar - Friday, 8 August

Oh man thats awful. People REALLY need to mind their own business. I don't know what it is about having a baby that makes people think it's ok to stick their noses into other people's lives, but I'm seriously ready to unplug my phones and never leave the house again. And to your MIL - wtf is her issue if you're pumping and giving baby breast milk? What, is there something somewhere that says bottled breast milk is inferior to that baby expresses on his own???? ugggggh, yup I feel for you.

lizzie287 - Thursday, 7 August
Yup thats where I'm at with my mom. My MIL is easy - just do what you want to do. My mother is convinced I'm not feeding her enough (oh really, than why is she gaining an ounce a day???), that we're hurting her with the way we hold the bottles, and that I should put her to the breast when she's hungry and let her cry til she gets it (ummm no that doesn't work!) .... people just need to back the hell off and stop making me feel like I'm failing as a mother, when my baby is perfectly happy and healthy.

newbiemama - Friday, 1 August
I just asked them too, they said it was on their 2 do list. maybe it will be soon. how are you doing? Heard you have mastitis that is terrible i know what it's like... I'd rather be in labour! Are you feeling better? I've had it 3 x and if I get it again I might stop but who knows I'm kinda crazy that way as i feel like keepin' goin. Hope you are feeling better!

military~mommy - Tuesday, 29 July
Mail me some of your milk! Lol, jk, but the best I can recomend is stop emptying your breast, if you empty them every time you pump your body thinks it needs to produce that much, so just pump say, 2/3rds of what you pump now, and if that is still way too much, pump a lil less until you are just right. Remember it is supply and demand, but really, if I live in CA, I might come clear out your milk supply!

Oh I rent mine it's 75 dollars a month which adds up. My goal is also 6 mos but really 8 since he was 7 weeks premmie. I feel somewhat obligated to go to a year but not sure it'll happen. It's hard but it's also so routine now that it feels like part of my day. And he's not so keen on formula. but you make so much that you could probably stop and supply a lot even after you stop. My sister did that she had a supply in the deep freeze and she could mix it for another 6 mos. I feel somewhat obligated to continue since babies get the immunity from the mother in the last 6 weeks of pregnancy and we didn't get that! Actually he came on my spring break while I was a student still and I finished school and still pumped. Weight loss while breast feeding is a myth I'm GAINING weight. Eating to supply I guess.

Jack just won't latch... little bugger... I'm going to have to ground him when he's older hahaha there should be a punishment for this inconvience! hahaha..

glad to have an e pumping buddy!

newbiemama - Monday, 28 July
Hi pump buddy. That's great about the pump page! How long are you planning to keep it up? Chris my partner says a year?? That pump gonna cost.... !!!! We should just suck it up and spend the 1500 to buy it hahaha! Still cheaper and better than formula I had to give him a bit this weekend he spit it out!

3rdtimer - Sunday, 27 July
That is one huge cat! (And one sweet little girl.) Hey good luck with the high palate thing. I didn't have much luck with breastfeeding the first time but with babies 2 & 3 it has gone much better so there's always next time. :)

melliebellie - Sunday, 27 July
thanks! it was just weird b/c it hadn't been happening all along. i think her last growth spurt must have really boosted my supply.

april mcspadden - Saturday, 26 July
hehehethats funny cause I think of Jack sparrow. lol... and whoo hooooo is he hot. lol...

softkitty - Saturday, 26 July
At what age did you give the mylicon and gripe water? My little one is 2 weeks old. I now have the mylicon but I'm wondering if I should wait for the pediatrician to ok it.

amber325 - Friday, 25 July
 AWWWW such a cutie!!!!

newbiemama - Thursday, 24 July
wow! your a milk machine! Of wow then you will have no problem with supply and if you do there's always fenugreek or marathin pumping to revive your supply but sounds like that's no problem with you! I wish i had some to donate to the milk bank that's so nobel you are a baby saver! I would save even the foremilk becuase babies that need human milk would benefit from that. There is only 1 milk bank and it's in Vancouver. Wow good for you! 1000 ozes holy crap!

newbiemama - Thursday, 24 July
typo. do you freeze or save any in the fridge or freezer? good for emergencies!

newbiemama - Thursday, 24 July
hey Starby!!! If you over produce you'll be fine your supply should be great and even if it isn't you can revive it! I don't and never have pumped in the middle of the night. But yeah 300 mil is great for am that is 3 feeds for jack. That would take him until 3 pm and if you have any aved up too that should do him for the day while you are at work than pump at 5 pm and that is for the evening and before bed is over night ect... After 3 days you'll supply will even out and you won't engorge. Fenugreek increases supply. If you over produce, do you freeze any? It's good for when you need it in emergencies. With the way i pump now if I time it right I can go for a glass of wine with the girls! It's alot more freedom if you cut the pumps down but pump more per pump. try it out!
