Best wishes with the homebirth. I just had my daughter at home. We have had a wonderful pre-natal and post-natal experience. I have one picture posted of my daughter being delivered by my husband.

We are having a home birth too. I also love the level of care one gets with a midwife. You are a person not a number.

Hi there. Just read your comment on your homebirth. I was in the same situation as well! Everybody told me how insane I am and that having a baby is such a big medical thing to happen and its actually all nonsense! I went searching and found a private midwife that lives so close to me and has been catching babies for almost 20 years now! Every appointment I have with her I have more than enough time to get through all my questions and its not that 15min rush that the doctors have to get out and to get the new patient in.

So.. I decided to have my baby - my first - at home and having a waterbirth.. and I feel so comfortable with it!

Good luck and I am sure that everything will be 110% fine!!!!

I'm going to book the scan, i like the idea and it means more to me to c my baby than it duz to b discouraged by 1 bad experience. Thanks for the advice. xx

Thanks , i'm seriously umming and ahhing, my friend wont even show her pictures which made me think it must be really awful. I actually quite liked the idea of seeing exactly what my baby would look like b4 it woz born. I just didn't wan2 b disappointed by the experience

Message to all This may be interesting to some of you. Seema`s email is seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com

Hi there,

I work for a television production company based in the UK . We are currently making a documentary for ITV1 exploring the issues surrounding pregnancy and eating disorders. The film will be a thoughtful and insightful look into this extremely sensitive subject.

We’re in the research stage of our production and very keen to chat to women who are, or have been, pregnant whilst having an eating disorder.

If you’re interested in having a chat or finding out more about our documentary, it would be really great to hear from you. All communication would be in complete confidence.

You can contact me on: seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com

Sx

I actually thought last night how it would be easier to just have a horse drawn cart!!! Great minds think alike lol. I talked to the car lot where I bought my van at 2 yrs. ago. He is a really nice man. He is having it towed and is going to check it out and said he will put half of the cost on my loan and I will need to pay the rest upfront before I can have my car back. But hey he said it might only cost 800 to fix it. So it will be easier to come up with 400 then 800

newlifehopes - Sunday, 31 August
thanks for your reply, just curious as i've read its the best place in the world to give birth. want to know more about it. all the best for your pregnancy.

joshsbaby - Monday, 25 August
Thats exactly how I feel. I can't seem to be excited right now because the timing is all off. Being in school, working to make ends meet, and have an overbearing family that once they found out would see me as the family shame. Its too much stress for me to enjoy..And I feel myself getting bigger, and more depressed as the day goes by. It sucks.

Thanks for your advice - I hope it doesn't get much worse and passes quickly. I slept on my back last night instead of my side and its not so bad today, but I know sleeping on my back isn't recommended now. If it doesn't improve I will definitely try to look for someone who can help. Thanks again. From Michelle
