Message to all: This message is not intended for any one person, but a general statement to all members of the site. After hearing what you all think in regards to posting photos on the forums, we have modified the rules and ask that everyone familiarize yourself so that the site continues to remain friendly for everyone, including new members. In an effort to be respectful of all members of the site, we ask that members do not post more than ONE photo or video per person in the weekly, monthly and information forums. Your ONE picture should be small in size as well. Any large photos will be deleted. You are welcome to post as many pictures as you would like in the photo books, which were created for the purpose of sharing and viewing photos. You may also post as many blogs as you would like with photos in them. We understand that many members enjoy posting and viewing pictures on the forums, but this is not where they belong. We must keep the pictures on the boards to a minimum so that the written comments can continued to be written and read. Otherwise, the numerous amounts of large pictures squash the messages and they become missed. We ask that this modification be respected, therefore any member that continues to post numerous pictures a day will be deleted from the site. Thank you all for helping us keep the site friendly and welcoming for all members.

Message to all: In the last 2 years you all posted 1.1 million photos to the site, and that needs a little maintenance. We are currently renaming all photos from the personal photobooks in order to speed up the site. Some, or all your photos may not show while we are working on the photobooks. You don't have to do anything. We hope to have all photos sorted in about 24 hours from now. You can upload new photos to your photobook while the computer is working on your other photos. Thanks for reading.

your not alone. I went thru PPD bad when my son was 3 weeks old. Went to the hospital for extreme panic attacks so bad that i was vomiting, head aches, shaky... i didnt know why... it suddenly hit me one day... hubby and i would be in walmart and if be ballin anf hes like "whats wrong" and i was lke "WE DONT SPEND TIME TOGETHER AN MORE!!!!" freaking and balling... they gave me some medicatoin.. took 5 weeks to kick in but works wonders on me... i feel bad for ever feeling this way but shows its a chemicle inbalance as pills make it beter... it might be ur shot.. ive heard some stories about it f***ing with your hormones... the only thing thats ucks is u got to wait til it wears off

parkersmommy1 - Saturday, 29 November
hey. just so you know, the depo shot really messe with your hormones, and can cause depression as well. i was on it for 3 years, worst mistake of my life. i had always been 119lb (im very small framed) after being on that, i jumped to 139. at 1 point, i thoguht i was pregnant because my breasts were leaking milk. the drs thought i had a brain tumor. it turned out it was the depo messing with how my pituitary gland released hormones. its like it set it on high. in canada, its no longer considered a long term bc method. longest they say you should be on it is 6 months, a year max. my dr pulled me off it after he heard it sucks the calcium out of your bones, and immediately sent me for a bone density test to make sure there was no damage from being on it. if it causes too many problems for you, i would seriously recommend finding something else. i loved it for the first year and a half. after that, i cried everyday. and this was before i had my son. and, did you know, it wasnt originally made as a form of bc. i believe it was for breast cancer patients, and then after use, they found out that it worknig as a bc was a side effect, so they started sellnig it for that. id question something that was a bc when that wasnt its original use

Message to all This may be interesting to some of you. Seema`s email is seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com

Hi there,

I work for a television production company based in the UK . We are currently making a documentary for ITV1 exploring the issues surrounding pregnancy and eating disorders. The film will be a thoughtful and insightful look into this extremely sensitive subject.

We’re in the research stage of our production and very keen to chat to women who are, or have been, pregnant whilst having an eating disorder.

If you’re interested in having a chat or finding out more about our documentary, it would be really great to hear from you. All communication would be in complete confidence.

You can contact me on: seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com

i had sex about 2.5 to 3 weeks after my baby...went slow and it wasn't very enjoyable but didn't hurt real bad...i was back to normal sex by probably 3.5 to 4 weeks after the baby. she's 8 weeks tomorrow and sex is great now

hi, im answering your question about whether sex hurts after giving birth. when i had my daughter, i tore quite badly and had 27 stitches. i couldnt wait the full 6 weeks so we tried a bit early...lol... my hubby was really gentle, we used lots of lube and it was great!! i didnt hurt at all. the next time though, i thought i was all fine, and we wernt as careful, we didnt use lube and it hurt then though. i had my baby boy 4 weeks ago, and i cant wait for that 6 week checkup myself...
good luck!!

I don't know what I'd do without the internet! We are doing well overall. Anna has been cranky all day today, but has slept for six straight hours the past two nights, had a bottle, and then slept for three hours after that which has been amazing! I'll deal with crankiness during the day if I can sleep at night. :) Not that her previous 4 - 5 hour stretches were bad, but this is even better!

Im absolutely paranoid about letting evie sleep in with me and my boyfriend but she loves the bed! The only way we can get her to sleep is on her tummy but then i put her on her back and in her cot or basket. Then shes bawling to come out after an hr- its stressful i know! id let her sleep in the bed if i wasnt so on edge that shes going to get squashed.

peanutontheway - Thursday, 7 August
My little girl is the same way and she is 7 weeks today. She has gotten better about always wanting to be sleeping on me or being held by me but not much. The other day it took me 2 hours to get her to sleep in her crib and she only slept in it for an hour. She will sleep in my bed just fine. Audrey just usually ends up in bed with me and her daddy on the couch cause we are both afraid he will squish her. Someone suggested to lay one of your or your husband's shirts on top of her sheet in the crib/bassinet. The smell of you guys being near is supposed to be comforting. Maybe try a swing if you have one. I pretty much just gave up in let her do what she wants, I get more sleep that way!

luvbaby - Thursday, 7 August
hi , Emily too she just sleeps on her chest she loves it and ive tryed putting her on her back or side..but she will just wake up 2 min after, she will sleep all night and she knows to keep her head on the sides but now she has baby acne and i think since shes sleeping on her face its making it worst!! oh and shes never slept on her crib!!! ever!!! shes on my bed i sleep in the middle of her and daddy cause im scared hell crush her...well she also doesnt like to be put down....i dun care i want her to be happy so im going to do what she likes.

Sounds like my story - I didn't know that they could cut off the epidural! I was not pleased, and spent the last two hours without it! I'm glad that everything went well and that Coleman and Mommy are doing well. :)

Well - any updates? :)

Hey girl! I read your comment about the car seat not fitting, and I had to let you know you're not alone. We had the same problem, and just ended up leaving the handle in the carry-position. It isn't against the law to do, they just say in the case of an accident, the baby might hit it's face on the handle. But, if the baby is strapped in as tight as they should be, it shouldn't be a problem with them hitting their face. Anyways, hang in there and know that you're not alone!!!

Bz mamma - Saturday, 5 July
I made an appt with the nearest Highway Patrol. they installed the carseat for free. Look up fire departments, health offices and police departments in your area, someone will help you. Its worth it.

foxymama - Saturday, 5 July
I went to the Highway Patrol here in Ca and they actually put the car seat in for us which i;m glad because we had it wrong, but he said not to put it up because if there is a car accident then the baby could hit the handle.

BabyBennett - Friday, 4 July
I just posted the birth story - I had no idea that she was coming so early!!! Good luck to you!
