Rebekahs-mama - Thursday, 12 June Automatic update: Rebekahs-mama added a new blog: Belly Pics
Rebekahs-mama - Thursday, 29 May Hi! I'm glad you and hubby are doing a bit better. I bet it does make a huge difference knowing your little one is in heaven and someday you will meet him or her. I would definitely be comforted by that. I'm sure God has wonderful plans for you in terms of a family. It took many years of praying for our little family to get started, so I know the heartache of the wait. But I do not know the heartache of losing a little one, so I will just continue to pray for God to give you strength for each new day.
The pregancy is going very well for me so far. I go to my first appointment on the 12th of June and am a bit nervous about it. Kevin won't be attending because he has to work, so I will be on my own. He never missed an appointment with Bekah, so this will be new territory for me.
Bekah is doing wonderfully as well. She's just started eating a few solid foods and she seems to like them so far. We haven't had any spit back out at us! So I take that as a good sign. She's also starting to sit on her own, which is exciting. She likes to sit at her play gym rather than lay under it and it's so cute to watch her play.
Well, I'll continue to pray for you and your hubby. And I'll check in with you from time to time. Hugs from Bekah and I! And may God bless you very soon with a beautiful little sweetheart. xoxox Amanda
Rebekahs-mama - Friday, 23 May I'm still praying for you. I hope you're doing a bit better this week!
Rebekahs-mama - Wednesday, 14 May Oh I was so happy to hear from you. I'm sorry you're having trouble sleeping. I would imagine it would be hard when you're feeling down like you are. I'm glad you don't have to have a D&C. It helps that your body cooparated that way. I'll keep praying for you and your hubby! God really has a wonderful plan for you...I know he does! Sometimes the timing just isn't quite right yet. Thanks for the congrats. I really appreciate your lovely message. I'll check in with you periodically to see how you're doing. And please know that you'll still be in my prayers!
Rebekahs-mama - Monday, 12 May Hi! I've continued to think about you and pray you are well. Please let me know when you feel up to it. I did want to message you with my news and I hope and pray this isn't in poor taste. I found out this morning that I'm expecting another baby! My little ones will be just shy of 13 months apart, which blows my mind. God truly works wonderful miracles. Well, I hope this didn't upset you but rather uplift your spirits a bit. Take care and please know you will not leave my prayers.
Rebekahs-mama - Saturday, 10 May Hi! Just popping in to see how you're doing. I wanted to let you know you have been in my prayers all week.
nimzm2b - Wednesday, 7 May I'm so sorry, My sister suffered with a missed miscarriage, she had her 12 weeks scan and they also told her that the baby had died at 6 weeks. It's not a nice thing to go through. When you do start ttc again I've got tons of baby dust waiting for you.
Rebekahs-mama - Saturday, 3 May Oh, I am so terribly sorry for you and your DH. Oh, I'm going to go cry for you now. I was so excited for you both. I know nothing I can say will make things better, so I will just pray for you to heal. God loves you so much and he is grieving with you, too. Please let me know if there's anything you need.
I'm sorry to hear about your loss. I will keep you in my prayers. God bless you!
TashaS - Sunday, 20 April How did your scan go? Did you get to see the little bean?
Rebekahs-mama - Thursday, 3 April Hi! I was just reading your update. What goes on at Spring Harvest? It sounds like it might be a lot of fun!
Rebekahs-mama - Thursday, 27 Mar Hi! How has your week been? And how are you feeling? You're officially a quarter of the way there! Yay!
Rebekahs-mama - Friday, 14 Mar Hi! I see you haven't updated in a few days and was wondering if you're feeling okay. I know your ms has kicked in, so that can really get you down. Well, I hope you've had a nice week and will have a restful weekend.
Cblooflat - Tuesday, 11 Mar Morning Annalyn! you're about a week a head of me! can't believe i'm pregnant either, this is my first on and Jeremy (hubby) n I have been married since Oct 06.. looks like we are on the same schedule! :) congrats on telling your mom! I couldn't wait I told mine the day I took the test and she screamed in the middle of church. hahaha Well I wish you well! Have a great day!
Rebekahs-mama - Saturday, 8 Mar Hi! How exciting that you shared your good news with your mom! It is such a special moment, isn't it? I'm sorry to here you've been feeling yucky the past few days. Hopefully that will pass when you get into your 2nd trimester. Will you have to wait until you're 20 weeks along to find out the sex?
also, just to let you know, my pregnancy test was negative this month, so maybe next month. I'm trusting God to know what's best for us!
kamo - Thursday, 6 Mar Wow, you finally broke and told your mom, huh. I haven't told mines yet. In about a month time, I will tell her- if I can last that long LOL. I'm opposite, when I'm nauseas, I eat everything that's why I'm gaining weight so fast, but oh well, that's the same thing I did with my first and I can't help it. I'll starve myself after the pregnancy :)
Rebekahs-mama - Tuesday, 4 Mar Oh, I'm so sorry the ms has started. I was hoping you would be like me and never really get it. Yes, it's annoying not knowing if you are feeling bad because you are hungry. Because if it is not hunger than you just put enough in your tummy to come back out! lol! Bekah's feeling better. Thanks for wishing her well. She has been much more like her old self. And thanks for the baby dust wishes! Have a great day! Amanda
dannii - Tuesday, 4 Mar thanks im also starting to feel sick! i really dnt want to wait that long i mean is it safe??
Rebekahs-mama - Monday, 3 Mar Oh, your most recent post about the ham making you sick made me laugh. I couldn't eat or even smell meat for the first 6 months of pregnancy. So funny how you're reacting to it as well.
We are doing very well, although we had a rough weekend with Bekah. She had her first shots and was not happy about it. She ran a low fever and was very fussy for three days. It's so hard to watch that as a parent. But she seems much better today.
So, about the sex stuff...I think most pregnant people are afraid or feel wierd about doing it. But I found it to feel a lot better. It was a lot more sensitive with a lot more fluids down below. Sorry it that's TMI, but just wanted to encourage you to try it. Honestly, we thought the sex got much better while I was pregnant and now that I'm not, it's still been better than it ever was before pregnancy...not so much physically, but emotionally between my husband and I. I know this advice wasn't asked for, but I hope it helps anyway. We made love all the way up until a day before birthing Bekah.
Well, take care and have a great week. I'll hopefully test on Friday, so I'm getting nervous and excited at the same time!
nimzm2b - Monday, 3 Mar Hi usually i'm gagging for it night and day, but with this pregnancy and my last I never feel like having sex, at all! when i was pregnant with Molly my poor b/f had to wait (from conception) up until Molly was about 4 months old! I was a little scared but mostly i just didn't feel 'in the mood'. Generally sex while pregnant is fine, you might feel your uterus cramp up slightly when you orgasm but it generally is safe. If your really worried talk to your doc or midwife. Good luck
Rebekahs-mama - Saturday, 1 Mar Hi! I see form your posts this week that you finally have an appointment. That's so exciting! I'm sorry you fell and will pray everything is ok. I'm sure the baby's fine. I remember my best friend tripping on a curb in her 6 month. She fell right on her tummy and was terrified something had happened with the baby. But he was just fine.
How have you been feeling otherwise? I remember being so tired in the first trimester.
Godschild - Friday, 29 Feb hi i just noticed you fell. Don't worry ifell with both of my babies. Down stairs. A big belly can throw you off. My docter was not concerned as i didn't land on my belly! Everything will be fine! They are protected in there!
mrskcich - Thursday, 28 Feb annalyn, I'm so glad my input helped you. That was the main reason I started a blog here was because I noticed a lot of first timers that had lots of concerns and I was hoping to ease their minds. Again, I am nothing but a professional mommy..not a Dr.
As for your fall...I really don't see it being harmful to the baby. Our babies are only the size of a sesame seed or a bit more. It is protected by the sac, uterus and so many other things. If you were farther along and the baby were bigger, I would be concerned but feel relieved that you are only 6 weeks.
If you start to bleed red (because brown blood isn't a bad thing..it's old blood) and have severe cramping, then I would be seen.
Lots of luck to you and many congratulations.
mamatess - Thursday, 28 Feb Hi, congratulations! I read your comment on 6 weeks, and I'm so glad to see someone else having similar questions. OH, I CRY ALL THE TIME! And my back hurts. I wonder if this is normal, and I won't see a doctor until NEXT week. So, I'm with ya, girlfriend! Keep your chin up, (I'm talking to myself here, too), we are doing the most sacred work there is...
