Does anyone have a child with a weak immune system? Or one that`s constantly sick with the same thing?? My dd has a stomach virus literally at least once a month and it`s getting a bit ridiculous, she just got owe a stomach virus not even two weeks ago an she was sick again Monday vomiting and running a 102 temp. By tuesday it was no more vomiting and a slight fever and by Wednesday (the earliest day I could get an appointment with her pedi) she seems perfectly fine and back to normal. The doctor said if it was something other than a stomach virus it would nit go away, well not long after we left the doctor she`s back to vomiting. She`s to the point where she has nothing in her stomach but acid and she also has very very runny diarhea. Am I the only one who thinks this is NOT normal? I don`t understand why she keeps catching the same thing over and over again. She`s not in daycare or anything and none of us are ever sick when she gets sick. I cleaned the house meticulously, I just don`t know what it could be and her pedi is really no help. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Ok ladies, have any of you ever gotten your money back for diapers you bought that didn`t work well or etc? I bought a box of luvs for my dd bc the store I was at was out of her size in huggies and I was in a rush so I just grabbed luvs which I used before when my dd was younger. Well I absolutely HATE them..she`s been having at least one accident a day and I`ve been trying to even change her diaper more frequently but that hasn`t helped either so I know it`s not her it`s the diapers! She`s woke up almost every morning this week soaked in pee! And I paid 20 dollars for this box of diapers...ugh! Luvs has that `money back guarantee` on their boxes, do you think they`ll give me my money back?

Does anyone know where I can get custom size pictures? I bought frames that say different things ab grandparents and grandchildren for my grandparents and I wanted to put pictures in them(it holds five)...only problem is the picture sizes have to be 2X2, 2X3, 3X3, 4X3! I have no clue where I cab order those sizes at.

This is for the Christians/those of you that believe in god..SO and I got into an argument today bc he believes it`s flat out wrong to not believe in God and IMO I don`t think it`s wrong or right. I believe everyone is entitled to their own beliefs and just bc someone doesn`t believe in the same thing I do doesn`t make it wrong..I mean cmon this wouldn`t not be America if everyone walked, talked, acted the same and had the same beliefs. I took my 14 month old to the eye doctor today bc she had been occasionally crossing her eyes..well long story short she`s farsighted and can not see things up close well, and she needs glasses at 14 months old. Has anyone dealth with children this young having glasses? I can not imagine her wearing them, and I didn`t even think it was this serious bc she acts like she sees perfectly..she doesn`t have a lot of accidents, or anything to make me suspect she can`t see. I just can`t believe my baby needs glasses! If anyone else has dealt with this so young I`d like to know your experience! TIA!

I need help ladies!! My 14 month old learned how to carefully climb out of her crib ab two weeks ago, this was after I put her in there during the day so I could take a quick shower and she didn`t like that one bit sooo she climbed out and I out her back into the bed and she just kept doing it. I thought she`d forgotten how to do it or she was afraid tp do it at night bc it`s dark in her room..well lastnight she threw a fit a bedtime, and as soon as my so left the room she climbed out the bed and opened the door literally within two seconds and I have no idea what to do bc she is in no way ready for a toddler bed bc all she`ll do is get out of it, and her crib is on the lowest setting and although shes come up with a careful way to get out I`m scared if she keeps doing it she`ll hurt herself!! Has anyone else gone through yhis? advice is greatly appreciated.

My So`s grandmother died today..it was his dad`s mother, and his dad unfortunately died when he was only two and his dad`s family (including his grandmother) never once called to check on them (his mom and dad had five kids). His dad has a twin bother who loves here and his grandmother would come to vista them and never stop by or call my so`s family when she was here. Over a year ago I asked himto call his grandmother and aunts and get in touch with them but he refused bc he wants nothing to do with them. My question is do you think he should go to the funeral? I told him he should go as it is his blood, but he told me he never ven knew tgis woman so why would he go?

Need advice...my dd was in the doc two weeks ago for a yeast infection, which took a agile to clear and finally went away not long ago. She also was at the doc twice last week bc she was running a 104 fever, they ave her antibiyocs last Wednesday and it`s a high antibiotic. A few hours After taking it she has a rash all over her, just tiny red bumps. I gave her some benedryl and it went away hut happened the next day after she took it..hasn`t happened anymore since but the medicine is giving her diarrhea and she has.another horrible diaper rash it almost looks like blisters, and she`s crying whn I change her. I`m not sure if this is related to the antibiotic, or not. I`ve been putting lots of desitin and A&D on it but with no relief..it just keeps getting worse. Poor baby is petrified of the doctor now and I`d hate to have to brin her back for a 4th time in two weeks..any advice would be greatly appreciated!!

So yesterday I posted a poll ab my DD having a fever..in the middle of the night her fever was 103.5. So I scheduled her an appointment first thing this morning and she was there for hours and her temp there was 104..they ran a test and found nothing so all they could say was she has a `viral` illness...and to give her Tylenol and motrin around the clock. She slept for four hours today and isn`t wanting to do anything..I`m ver worried and wondering if I should take her to the ER?? have any of you ladies dealt with viral illnesses?

My dd is running a temp..yesterday she woke up from a nap and felt hot so I took it and it was only 99.8, I gave her some motrin and she was perfectly fine. Today shehas been her normal self, playing and etc but still felt really hot..I just took her temp and it is now 101.0 so I gave her some more motrin and cold water. She has no other `sick` symptoms..if she didn`t feel so hot, I`d never know she has a fever. What could this be? We were just at the doctor last Wednesday bc she had a yeast infection and was given some antibiotic cream and it`s almost gone and everything else checked out fine while we were there....she isn`t cutting any new teeth, so im stumped. I`ll be calling the doctor tomorrow to make an apt, just wanted to know what you ladies thought? Thank you!

The bishop at my church just resigned bc he had an affair with a married woman and he himself is also married. I was so upset when I heard this, yes I know he is only human. But come on, how can you preach to others an how they should be leading their lives when you yourself don`t even lead that lifestyle?? There are so many pastors/preachers/bishops and etc that are doing horrible things behind closed doors then going to church on Sunday and preaching ab how we should be living. Do you think pastors are more so expected to follow gods word since they preach it to us?or do you think they should be cut some slack as they are only humans? Comments and opinions are appreciated!

Not really a poll just in need of some words of encouragement. To the ladies working full-time or going to school and working how do you do it? I just started college full-time last month and next week I will be starting a new part time job and will be putting my daughter into daycare. I feel sad just thinking ab being away from her so long, even though I know in the end it`ll benefit her and I both. I`m just not sure how she will cope or how I will cope. Advice please!!

For the mons with picky eaters or in my case very small eaters, do u give them anything extra to make up for the things u feel they`re missing? My daughter eats a good variety of things, but veryyyyyyy small portions. I mean she literally can eat 5-6 bites of something and be full. I`m in the process of switching her from forumla to whole milk, but I`m not quite sure if whole milk will be enough. My mother keeps telling me her stomach is the size of her fist so I shouldn`t worry, but I just don`t want her to be missing out on any important things! Shell be 1, next month on the 8th btw.

What kind of juices do you give your lo? My DD is 10 monthes old abd I plan on starting to wean her from formula next month...and I`ve tried giving her gerber juice and motts apple juice, as I don`t want to give her anything to sugary but she doesn`t drink it!
