I woke up with very swollen ankles and feet, is it ok to soak them in hot water/epsom salts or will that make them worse? (I figured I`d soak them for 20 minutes to relax me, then keep them elevated all night)

I found out a close teen relative of mine was telling her ex boyfriend and friends that she got pregnant and had an abortion, the family confronted her about it and she denied ever being pregnant. Her ex said that she told him that 3 days after her `abortion` she was cramping and hadn`t started bleeding yet. If you have an abortion do you start bleeding immediately like after you give birth or does it take awhile? (The family thinks she is just telling people this for attention)

Years ago it wasn`t right to throw yourself a baby shower, a close friend or family member would be the one to throw it and it would be a surprise. Should it still be a surprise thrown by someone else or do you go all out and make a registry list and throw it for yourself?
