Pls help! Not baby related at all, sorry. Having terrible problem with fleas! I`m at my wits end and don`t know what to do. I`ve doused the animals repeatedly, sprayed the house with insecticide, but it doesn`t seem to be getting any better. If you planned both your first and your second pregnancy, were you as anxious to get preg the second time as the first? We`re planning our second but I don`t feel the same crazy drive to have a baby as I did with our DD (now 17 mos). I want another baby and it makes sense for us to have one now but I`m wondering if I should wait until I feel that irresistable urge to have another one.

Quick = I`ve just stupidly washed my cats, using a cap of dettol per litre or so of water. After washing them, as I put the bottle away, `cats` caught my eye and I read that it may be dangerous to do this. I phoned my vet and he said that they may develop a skin reaction but should be fine as I rinsed them well. Does anyone have any experience with this (good results most welcome, I`ve now read quite a few horror stories!). Please don`t make me feel any worse than I already do, I love these animals like my babies, and figured that since dettol is fine to use in my own bath, it should be fine for them.

I`ve made homemade chicken noodle soup (with gluten free noodles) and have leftovers - would it be ok to blend it & give it to my 7 month old? It has a tiny bit of salt and pepper in it - about half a teaspoon of each in a gallon of liquid. I never put salt in any foods that I make for her, but is it ok just this once?

In Ireland, two women have just come forward, saying that they were told they had miscarried, were prescribed a drug to induce bleeding & scheduled for D&Cs. After pushing for a second opinion, they were told that the babies were in fact alive & they subsequently gave birth to healthy LOs. Apparently faulty machinery is to blame! I can`t believe that they were only given one scan! Now there are hundreds of women wondering if they unwittingly aborted a healthy baby. Please ladies, if you ever have the misfortune to be told that your baby is no longer alive, get a second opinion, using another machine!

Just heard that some soap operas have been postponed and storylines edited due to recent tragedies in the UK. I don`t get this. Soaps are meant to reflect real life (albeit in a more dramatic manner!). Would you be offended if the shows aired with similar storylines immediately after an incident?

Need help! My 17 year old sister told me last night that she had to take the morning after pill (condom broke). She`s not in a relationship and is completely terrified of it not working. I don`t want to condone the fact that she is having casual sex at her age, and want to steer her on the right path, but I also don`t want to seem judgemental. She needs my support right now. What would you do? I`ve worked at my office for a year. When I had my baby 6 months ago, NO ONE from the office sent a card, let alone flowers or a gift. Now, another woman here (who happens to be the boss` wife) has had a baby and there is a collection going round for a gift (even though everyone hates her). Is it petty of me to be put out? Caution, TMI alert - I`m 15 weeks pp, and bf`ing three times a day. Ever since I was 9 weeks pp, I have been experiencing diarreah (sp?) at least twice a week. Obviously as I`m bf`ing, I can either take something and pump & discard the milk or suffer through it and feed her. Its getting to the stage where I`m considering weaning my baby as I`m at my wits end! Any suggestions or ideas ladies? What could be the cause of this? I`ve not had any change to my diet and its not an issue of hygiene or anything. Sorry for the long post!
