Here we go again...here come the holidays and my inlaws are trying to over load us with too many plans...only this year we have an infant and I`m putting my foot down on all the rediculous family activities. How do you handle family overload with a baby?

I am tired of waiting for the H1N1 vaccine! I have a 4 month old so qualify in the high risk group. I can`t believe my hospital, Cleveland Clinic, world reknown does still not have them ready to go for us. For those of you who want to get the vaccine (for yourself or your kids) what is your status?

Did you have all of your little one get their shots as scheduled by the pediatrician? I am not letting my son get more than 2 at a time and when I called about it ahead of time (our 4 month appt is not for 3 - 4 weeks) the nurse was real snippy with me. But I`ve read too much stuff about SIDs and reactions (no matter how small the risk) plus I just feel that my system does and would have trouble with that much medicine at one time let alone someone who weighs less than 13lbs! BTW I think I`ll tell the nurse that for 25k the hospital system has made off of me and my insurance the last year - she can shut her trap about it making it `harder for them to keep track` by doing multiple visits. Go ahead and tag on more administrative fees if you want to for all I care!

Did you experience joint pain after pregnancy? My knuckles, wrists are achy when I stretch or flex them...wonder if it`s the relaxin hormone going away...

Moms who were treated for strep b during labor: I am allergic to Penicillin and have ulcerative colitis. What antibiotics were you given and did they have any side effects? I don`t want baby to get pneumonia or meningitis but I don`t want a UC flare up that will kill breastfeeding before it starts. Thank you.

Working mommies who will or did have to return to work in 6 - 10 weeks after birth: how are you planning to or how did you approaching feeding? How did it go? I’m thinking I’ll try to pump and get baby used to a bottle pretty quick since I have to return to work in 8 weeks or less and need to get baby and me on a routine fast.
