Kids not invited to a wedding. My BIL is marrying his long time girlfriend and mother of his 3yr old son. We live 250mi away and will be coming to the wedding on a weekend pass (my husband is in the army and will be doing a lot of schools so we wont be getting much time together) .. Well my soon to be SIL sent me a FB chat message to tell me that they would have off site childcare in someone`s home during the wedding. When I told her I wasn`t really okay with our kids being put in a car for 5hours then dropped off at a strangers house for the duration of the wedding she told me `well, we will talk about this in detail at a later date` ... Our kids will be 21mo old (boy) and 9mo (girl) .. Am I being insane to not want to drop them off with random people?

Why am I always paranoid every month, despite the fact that my husband had a vasectomy in January? My last pregnancy was nearly fatal for myself and our child, so he had it done before my 6week appt... the thought of pregnancy scares the living s*it out of me.. He was cleared by 2 semen samples, but I`m a week late... and my fertile period was the day after we were reunited after he was gone for a month in training, so... it was.... high volume (LOL) ... before you say anything, I have been faithful, we have a 20mo old and an 8mo old.. we do not want anymore kids... but... he`s at the store buying a cheap dollar store pregnancy test, just so we can *hopefully* see a negative test... OH, and our first child was conceived the 1st time we had sex, and we lost the pregnancy, our 2nd child (our 20mo old) was concieved 3 weeks after we lost the first baby, and our 3rd child (our 8mo old) was conceived on a 4 day pass, 4 mo after our son was born, the 1st chance we had to have sex since his birth bc my husband was in training ...again.. soo... I guess thats what makes me paranoid... we get pregnant after periods of seperation, during our `reunions` and even though he had surgery, I am STILL paranoid!! Will this ever go away!!? I`m tempted to go have my tubes tied just to double up on the protection...

My son is almost 20 months old. He comes to you and lays down to have his diaper changed and pulls on it when he is dirty. Today when I said `did you poop` he shook his head YES... I plan on waiting to do anything until after we travel in the first of Aug. I think he is showing good signs of being ready to use the potty.. Do you think 21 months is too soon? What is the first steps? I also have an almost 8mo old...

Have you or someone you know got pregnant after their husband`s had a vasectomy? We`ve had 2 test run and they just said everything was fine, but I`m still paranoid, as the vasectomy is our only form of BC since I react to hormonal BC very badly..

My kiddos are going to be 13 months apart (at the most) I need to know what double stroller you use ALL THE TIME? When the kids are 9/10mo old and almost 2 their dad will be deployed so it will be ALL me, and we`ll be using it a lot... We`d prefer a stroller that didn`t cost an insane amount of money... Comments?

We have 2 dogs, McKenna is a 3yr old Lab that is WONDERFUL with our son, lets him lay on her, pull her fur, touch her paws/ears/eyes/mouth, she is so adaptable with the different places we`ve lived, its been a tiny apartment, trailer with a yard, back into an apartment, then another apartment 250mi away, headed back out into a place with a yard in July2010.. she copes well and is very patient with my pregnancies, being that I can`t always rush her down to go potty immediately, but she doesn`t fuss or act out.. we also have a 1 1/2 yr old Chihuahua/Jack Russell named Daisy, we got Daisy when we had a miscarriage in Mar2008, she was kind of my healing dog and she was wonderful for the most part, her puppy phase was just what I needed to distract me from the pain of the loss, however we could have never known that she would not like babies, so now we have a 10 month old and I`m 27 weeks pregnant, she has not adapted well to our moving (we are a military family, so its not going to chill out anytime soon), she hides with her ears tucked when she is in the room with Maddox, and when they interact through the baby gate that keeps them seperate she is alright with it at first then just goes in the other room.. I`m afraid she`s going to nip his nose or lip or something (not mean, but either way) ... so I`ve been torn on whether or not to let her go to someone else... I don`t want her to be stuck in the kitchen until Avery (I`m 27weeks pregnant with her) is what? 3? 4? 5? thats too long for her to be ostracised from the family within the house, so I feel like we should let her LIVE IN a different family.. BUT she stands for so much... I just don`t know what to do... do right by her and find her a family that fits her better or keep her because I love her?
