You know what they say about high fructose cornsyrup.

A recent study done with hamsters divided into three groups, one whose food was sweetened by regular sugar, one sweetened by high fructose, and one group was fed unsweetened food. The groups that were fed unsweetened food showed the same level of health as the group fed food sweetened with sugar after one week of the trial. The group fed with the high fructose sweetened food showed early signs of diabetes. After several months, all of the hamsters fed with high fructose sweetened food had developed diabetes.	5		45%

::No Poo Challenge:: The idea is that the sulfates in shampoo are damaging chemicals that strip your hair and make you dependent on the products (shampoo and conditioner.) Many people believe that shampooing is not neccessary and do not wash their hair at all, only rinse with water. Other believe that scrubbing the scalp occassionally with a baking soda paste would suffice along with an apple cidar vinegar rinse, and yet others feel that just finding a sulfate free shampoo will do the job. Ok, so I posted a poll yesterday (it`s on the next page) about how I don`t need anything (not even diapers). I asked whether or not it is ok to request Walmart gift cards (not on the invitation, of course). Several ladies came up with the idea of requesting books for the baby. I thought this was a great idea, except I still think that Walmart gift cards would be a good alternative for people who don`t like shopping (which is the majority of our friends and family.) Ok, so here`s the thing, I have my husband`s family and my family that both want to throw me baby showers this summer. I am thrilled that anyone even wants to throw one for me, but I already have everything I need. We already have the crib, I made all the bedding already and the sling and boppy pillow, lots of hand-me-downs, etc. so I`m not registered anywhere. I`m curious as to people`s feelings about marriage and having babies. There are both situations of having babies while married and out of wedlock in my family and each situation is thought of differently with NO consistency as to what is right or wrong or acceptable or unacceptable. What are your feelings? Please feel free to comment. What do you think of the name Seth? My husband likes it a lot and I`m only OK with it but according to family tradition every sibling group has to have the same first initial yet be unique from all the other sibling groups in the family. We already have cousins names Rena & Randy, Mitchell & Megan, and Jeremy & Jordan. We chose S because we really like the girl names Susan and Shirley Ann
